Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen on the big screen in “Zero”, has said that he will announce his next film in a month or two. He added that he is working on two to three scripts right now.

The superstar revealed this fact while interacting with the media in Mumbai on Thursday at the launch of Disney-owned Star India network’s second season of “Ted Talks India: Nayi Baat” (or New Conversations) along with TED head Chris Anderson, Star India president (Hindi entertainment) Gaurav Banerjee, and Star India managing director Sanjay Gupta.

There were recent media reports suggesting that Shah Rukh will be seen in Yash Raj Films’ “Dhoom 4”. Another wave of rumour said he set to do a Hindi remake of Quentin Tarantino’s “Kill Bill”, yet other unconfirmed reports suggested he is all set to make “Don 3”. Others have been saying he is planning a project with Ali Abbas Zafar’s or Rajkumar Hirani.

“Actually, I spoke to Sanjay (Gupta), Gaurav (Banerjee) and Uday (Shankar; chairman of Star and Disney India, and president of The Walt Disney Company, Asia Pacific) and I said, this is the platform where I want to announce it. This is it. I will come here and tell everyone about. Ted Talk will be my new movie,” laughed Shah Rukh.

On a serious note, he added: “Jokes apart, I am thinking and taking some time. I am working on two or three scripts and, Inshallah, as soon as they are ready, I am ready. Because most of the people with whom I am working are busy so, Inshallah, I will announce it myself. I feel till the time rumours are floating around, it’s good because some of them have given me ideas.”

Priyanka reveals what Nick does when he meets her mom

Mumbai– Priyanka Chopra returns to Bollywood with her next film, “The Sky Is Pink”, and the actress is currently in India to be part of a heavy promoting spree for the film lately.

Priyanka Chopra

One of her pre-release publicity assignments took Priyanka to the set of “The Kapil Sharma Show”. Comedian Kapil’s popular show has, after all, become an effective means for stars to grab some eyeballs just before the release of a film.

Kapil, too, is known for his quizzing of the celebrity guests who land up at his show, often cornering them with questions laced with tongue-in-cheek wit. He was in no mood to spare Priyanka either.

The subject of Priyanka’s marriage to international pop star Nick Jonas came up, and Kapil pointed out that he, too, like Priyanka, had married in December last year.

Then, Kapil asked Priyanka if Nick had touched the feet of his mother-in-law — Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra, or did he settle on blowing air kisses at her when they met.

Not to be outdone, Priyanka had her reply in place. “Dono ke beech mein! Bechara hug karta hai mummy ko! (the solution lies somewhere in between! The poor guy hugs mummy!)”

Madhu Chopra, who was seated among the studio guests, agreed to this.

Priyanka Chopra: I have a family of mad cricket-lovers

Mumbai– Actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas says she is a big fan of cricket.

“My father used to love cricket. So, whenever there was a tournament, we would watch it together. If I used to get up from my seat during the match, and an Indian player hit a six, I was made to keep standing for some time. Cricket was a big thing at my place. My uncle has played Ranji cricket so it’s kind of a mad cricket-loving family,” she said.

Priyanka also recalled her wedding day when Team Bride and Team Groom played a cricket match.

“My cousins are cricket fans, so during my wedding as well, we played cricket by dividing everyone into Team Bride and Team Groom. Nick is a great baseball player, but the two sports are different, so obviously, Team Bride won the match!” said Priyanka, when she recently appeared on Star Sports’ Cricket Live.

On the film front, Priyanka will be seen in Shonali Bose’s “The Sky Is Pink”, which is scheduled to release on October 11.
