Seerat Kapoor may consider going bald if role demands
Mumbai– South actress Seerat Kapoor, who is known for her big curls and is often showered with compliments for her hairstyle, says she doesn’t mind going bald if a role requires.
The actress, who mainly works in Telugu films, will soon be seen in the Bollywood film “Maarrich”, with Naseeruddin Shah and Tusshar Kapoor.
“If the character has depth, I will most likely consider it (going bald). My fans have always appreciated every hairstyle on me — be it straight, wavy or curly. Over the years I have come to realise that the bond we share goes beyond visual appeal. When they say we love her curls, it’s not the hairstyle that they are attached to. It comes from the intent of loving who I am naturally. If I were ever to play such a role, I can only imagine how excited they’d be to watch how I’d carry it,” she claimed.
Seerat is known for her work in Telugu films such as “Raju Gari Gadhi 2″, ” Columbia “, “Touch Chesi Chudu” and more recently “Maa Vintha Gadha Vinuma”.
Her debut Bollywood act was in a 2014 film titled “Zid”, starring Mannara Chopra.

Mumbai– Actress Malvi Malhotra, who hit the headlines last year after a producer stabbed her thrice for rejecting his proposal, has praised actress-politician Urmila Matondkar for her support after the incident.
“Urmila ma’am has been such a support in my life. She stood by me when the mishap happened, and now she is also standing for society. She deserves accolades and credit for the way she, being a woman, has been fighting tooth and nail for the people,” Malvi said.
On the pandemicm she said: “My heart goes out to the ones who lost their lives. As responsible citizens let’s stand together and take accountability. Let’s follow all the protocols and get vaccinated whenever the opportunity arises. We will get over this as a nation.”
Akshara Haasan reveals the activity she has taken to during lockdown
Mumbai– Actress Akshara Haasan says if there is a one activity she has particularly taken to during lockdown, it is making jams.
“There ain’t much to do. I love making jams and I have taken to it hugely. I am working on some art as well and I hope I will bring that to the audience someday. We all love jams and I can share some of that for now,” Akshara, daughter of Kamal Haasan and Saarika, said.
She thanked healthcare workers who are working amid the devastating second wave of Covid-19.
“My heart goes out to all the victims. A huge salute to all the health workers and the frontline workers. They have been tireless and they are fighting for all of us. Let’s follow all the protocols till we reach ashore and get vaccinated whenever we get the chance. This too shall pass,” she added.
Amaal Mallik’s new track ‘Kya kiya hai tune’ about second chance at love
Mumbai– Composer-singer Amaal Mallik released his new track “Kya kiya tune” from the upcoming web series “Broken But Beautiful 3” on Thursday. He says that the romantic rendition is about finding love after a heartbreak. Amaal has sung the song along with Palak Muchhal.
“‘Kya kiya hain tune’ speaks of the absolute magic that love contains — to transform, evolve and liberate. It speaks of a person who stepped out once again into the world of love, hoping to not be hurt by love and met with this feeling, with an utmost sense of liberation. It’s finding love post breakup, and sometimes you meet people who make you love yourself, that is true love, a love to keep forever,” he said.
Amaal gushed with praise while opening up on his co-singer: “Words fall short of how seamlessly Palak Muchhal renders the emotion. We have the biggest love anthem ‘Kaun tujhe’ together, and I feel in ‘Kya kiya hain tune’, she sounds effortless and breezy, in spite of her parts being very difficult to execute.”
“Broken But Beautiful 3” stars Sidharth Shukla, Sonia Rathee, and is the third instalment in the popular franchise produced by Ekta Kapoor.
Directed by Priyanka Ghose, the series also features Ehan Bhat, Jahanvi Dhanrajgir, Manvir Singh, Taniya Kalra & Saloni Khanna in prominent roles. The third season streams on May 29.
Priyanka misses hubby Nick, posts pic with a kiss
Mumbai– Actress Priyanka Chopra gets mushy in a new post, featuring husband Nick Jonas and a kiss. She reveals she is missing hubby.
Priyanka posted a picture of Nick on Instagram. On getting a closer look, a kiss shaped lipstick mark can be seen on the American pop singer’s image.
“My lipstick on his fade…miss u already,” Priyanka wrote as caption.
The couple are in different places owing to work. However, no details were shared by the actress.
Priyanka and Nick were recently seen together at the Billboard Music Awards in Los Angeles. While Nick served as host of the show, the actress was seen presenting an award.
Priyanka is currently busy with “Citadel”. Helmed by “Avengers” makers Joe and Anthony Russo, “Citadel” is a spy thriller series co-starring Richard Madden, and is billed as a global event for OTT. (IANS)
