Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss 19’ Premieres August 24 with New Twist: ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar’

Mumbai– The much-anticipated reality show Bigg Boss 19 is set to return with a new season and a fresh twist.

Premiering on August 24, the show will stream at 9:00 PM on JioHotstar and air at 10:30 PM on COLORS. Salman Khan returns as host, appearing in the teaser in a Nehru jacket, flanked by black cat commandos.

This season introduces a new theme, “Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,” marking a major shift in power dynamics. Instead of one central authority, house decisions will now be guided collectively by the contestants, promising more tension and unpredictability.

“I’ve been part of Bigg Boss for years, and every season changes the game,” Salman said. “This time, when everyone tries to pull the strings, things are bound to get messy. That’s when the cracks show, and the house turns into a warzone.”

Reported contestants include Ram Kapoor, Munmun Dutta, and digital star Mr. Faisu. Others said to be in talks are Dheeraj Dhoopar, Anita Hassanandani, Ashish Vidyarthi, Apoorva Mukhija, Gaurav Taneja, Kanika Mann, Krishna Shroff, Raj Kundra, and Sreerama Chandra, though nothing is confirmed yet.

Mumbai– Actress Urvashi Rautela claimed her luggage was stolen from Gatwick Airport in London during her trip to Wimbledon 2025.

Seeking help via Instagram, the Daaku Maharaj actress posted a photo of her Emirates baggage tag and ticket, writing, “Injustice tolerated is injustice repeated. Our Wimbledon Dior brown baggage was stolen from the belt at Gatwick Airport after flying Emirates from Mumbai. Urgently requesting help to retrieve it.”

Her post sparked online ridicule, with many accusing her of using the incident as a publicity stunt. One user commented, “The so-called ‘Goddess of Beauty’ crying over a lost Dior bag? That’s cheap.” Another added, “Why are you tagging Wimbledon and Dior? Just tag the airline.”

Mockery also extended to her much-talked-about Labubu dolls, which she flaunted during Wimbledon. One user joked, “Maybe your Labubus took it.”

Meanwhile, Urvashi recently performed in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, reportedly earning Rs 7 crore for the show. Reflecting on the milestone, she said, “I feel immensely proud and humbled to be the first Indian female artist to perform in the heart of Saudi Arabia Jeddah for Hope & Joy along with Haifa Wehbe. This moment belongs to every Indian woman who dares to dream beyond boundaries.”

Mumbai– Actress Mrunal Thakur recently visited Farah Khan’s home and ended up giving an impromptu dance lesson to her popular cook, Dilip, teaching him the viral step from The Po Po Song featured in the upcoming film Son of Sardar 2.

Farah shared a playful video on Instagram showing Mrunal guiding Dilip through the move, which also doubles as a cheek exercise. “So this dance step is also for your jawline. Press your cheeks like this and follow the rhythm… 5, 6, 7, go,” Farah explained in Hindi.

She captioned the post: “When the beautiful @mrunalthakur comes home with @ajaydevgn n teaches Dilip the viral step of #sonofsardar2 .. full vlog tomorrow on my YouTube channel.”

Son of Sardar 2, directed by Vijay Kumar Arora, is a standalone sequel to the 2012 hit. It stars Ajay Devgn, Mrunal Thakur, Ravi Kishan, and Sanjay Mishra, and marks the posthumous release of Mukul Dev. The comedy revolves around a man pretending to be a war hero to help a couple win over their families.

In another Instagram post, Farah shared that Amitabh Bachchan had sent her a handwritten letter at 3:13 AM after watching her vlogs. Reading the letter aloud, Farah quoted Big B:

Mumbai– Actress Kajol is celebrating 33 years in the film industry, marking her debut with the 1992 action-romance Bekhudi. Chitrangda Singh on Doing Comedy in Housefull 5: “I Had to Let Go and Enjoy the Madness”

Mumbai– Actress Chitrangda Singh, known for her intense and romantic roles, stepped into comedy for the first time with Housefull 5 and admitted it took some getting used to.

“I was nervous, honestly. Everyone else had already tuned into the rhythm, and I was finding my feet,” Chitrangda said. “But once I caught the rhythm, I was having the time of my life.”

Playing the wild and playful Maya, Chitrangda also performed a few stunts in the film without rehearsals. “I was punching, kicking, getting knocked around—it felt like being a kid again,” she shared.

Describing the experience as liberating, she added, “I had to let go of control and just enjoy the madness.”

Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Housefull 5 hit theaters on June 6. The ensemble cast includes Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, Nargis Fakhri, Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer, and Akashdeep Sabir.

Chitrangda is also set to appear in Parikrama, directed by Goutam Ghose and co-starring Marco Leonardi and Cristina Donadio. Calling the project an emotional journey, she wrote on Instagram, “Some stories are important to tell… Parikrama is one such film. Shooting it became an emotional experience for me.”
