Salman Khan: My only job is to entertain people

Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Salman Khan said that as an actor, his biggest and only job is to entertain people thoroughly.

Salman’s latest release ‘Tiger 3’ is now streaming on a digital platform. Talking about the same, he said: “The Tiger franchise has got unanimous love right from the first film be it theatrically, on satellite or on streaming!”

“So, it feels amazing to see how the third instalment of Tiger 3 was first a hit in theatres and now on streaming.”

He added: “I’m in close contact with my audience through my social media and I can see the outpouring of love now that Tiger 3 has dropped on OTT.”

“As an actor my biggest and only job is to entertain people thoroughly and I’m happy that Tiger 3 is being enjoyed by people across the world.”

Salman further said: “Tiger 3 is a film that is very close to my heart. So, it felt extremely personal when it became a hit in theatres and now that it is a hit on streaming within days of its drop.”

“Tiger will always be there to entertain people.”

‘Tiger 3’ also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.

Adah Sharma has unique resolution for 2024

Mumbai– Actress Adah Sharma has a shocking answer when asked what her resolution is for 2024.

Adah says: “2023 gave me sooooo much more than I ever thought I deserved to ask for. So in 2024 I thought instead of asking what the new year can give me I should give back to the new year.”

“I’m working closely with various animal organisations for stray animals , abused elephants. People give me so much love so I must give back. ”

Adah is now gearing up for Sunflower season 2, where her role is touted to be ‘creepy and unique’.

She will also be seen in Bastar made by the same makers of the Kerala Story.

Mumbai– Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who is seen in the dark comedy thriller series ‘Killer Soup’, shared that the show is not just a one-time watch, and it’s like peeling back the layers of an onion — there’s always more to discover. The versatile actor said that he is fortunate to be a part of this masterpiece.

Layered with complex character arcs, the series boasts a stunning visual and captive narrative. Loosely inspired by a news headline, this work of fiction, starring Konkona Sen Sharma, and Manoj narrates the gripping tale of an ambitious housewife pursuing her dream of owning a restaurant and perfecting a soup recipe, only to be entangled in a web of lies and cover-ups.

The actor has urged viewers to indulge in multiple viewings of the series, emphasising the value of savouring each episode for an elevated entertainment experience.

Talking about the same, Manoj said: “Killer Soup is not just a one-time watch. To truly appreciate the artistry and effort that has gone into the series, I urge viewers to watch it at least thrice. Each viewing will bring forth new realisations and a deeper connection to the characters and their resolutions.”

Manoj, who plays a dual role as Prabhakar ‘Prabhu’ Shetty, and Umesh Shetty, shared: “It’s like peeling back the layers of an onion – there’s always more to discover. Every story chooses its own characters and I am fortunate to be a part of this masterpiece.”

Directed by Abhishek Chaubey, the series promises a compelling blend of love, lust, thrill, and suspense, seasoned with dark humour that sets it apart. At the heart of this culinary drama is Swathi Shetty, a woman in her early forties portrayed by Konkona.

Sonam Kapoor: Want to explore streaming if I’m headlining a tentpole project

Mumbai– Actress Sonam Kapoor is ready to explore streaming platforms if she is approached with a tentpole film or series.

Sonam said: “For me, being a part of good content and good cinema is all that matters. The platform where it’s releasing is immaterial because the world has changed. I’m excited to lead a project on streaming that bowls people over. I’m thoroughly loving the diversity of content out there.”

Sonam is an avid watcher of content on streaming and is happy how the platforms have changed the content appetite of people.

She shared: “I have always been wanting to make my foray into streaming, provided I’m headlining a tentpole film or a series on a global streaming platform. I have been a binge watcher of the outstanding content that streaming platforms have been creating for years now.”

The actress, who is back at filming after her pregnancy, added: “I believe streaming platforms have pushed the content envelope of our country, have made it more creatively disruptive and dynamic.”

“The bar that streaming content has set globally as well as in India is incredible. Streaming allows you to experiment a lot as an artiste. It is a very exciting medium for me. So, I’m all game to make my debut on streaming.”
