Ritvik Sahore takes break from work, spends birthday with family

Mumbai– Actor Ritvik Sahore has become a household name ever since he became part of television show ‘Indori Ishq’. After working back-to-back in long schedules, he decided to take a break from work on Tuesday and celebrate his birthday with his family here.

The actor, who turns 22, will be spending the day with family and close friends.

Talking about taking a day off after months, Ritvik tells IANS: “I have not spent quality time with my family for long so on this day I would be spending the day with them and catch up with my friends. There is nothing that gives me more joy than being around my family and friends and hence this birthday will be with them.”

Ritvik will soon be seen in an upcoming shows titled ‘Escaype Lives’ and ‘College Diaries’.

Anil Kapoor: Don’t misuse social media for sensationalism

Mumbai– From his workout videos to family photographs, and his banter with nephew Arjun Kapoor, Bollywood star Anil Kapoor is very active on social media.

The actor, though, sounded a note of caution during a conversation with actor-filmmaker Arbaaz Khan on the chat show ‘Pinch Season 2’. When asked about how he views the power of social media and if he had any piece of advice for his fans, ‘Mr India’ said: “My advice is, don’t be trigger-happy, use social media positively as it can be a great platform for spreading love and positive messages. Don’t try to use it negatively and exploit it for sensationalism.”

Kapoor then went on to add: “When you don’t have much knowledge about a matter, why do you comment on it? It is better to remain silent and mind your own business.”

Tahira Kashyap reveals how Ayushmann Khurrana won her heart

Mumbai– On Ayushmann Khurrana’s 37th birthday on Tuesday, his filmmaker-wife Tahira Kashyap revealed how the actor won her heart, when they both were just 19 years old.

Tahira on Tuesday shared a throwback picture on Instagram and penned a heart-warming note talking about how the actor wooed her.

“We were 19! I found you quite cool, with your frames, bike, matching sweaters and mufflers, but what got my heart was when you held the guitar and sang a song for me,” Tahira wrote.

She added: “You have always been passionate about art and what inspires me is after all these years your innocence and excitement towards work and life remains the same. You have been my biggest confidante and cheerleader.

“I might not be a big romantic as the goofiness (like you would say) gets the better of me, but I want to tell you that life is amazing with you and I continue learning a lot from you! Happy birthday umm P.S. – we were such lookers no.”

Ayushmann and Tahira were childhood sweethearts. The two got married in 2008. The couple welcomed their son Virajveer in 2012 and daughter Varushka in 2014.

Yami took three hours to get into ‘possessed’ look for ‘Bhoot Police’

Mumbai– Actress Yami Gautam says it was not an easy to play the part where she gets possessed in ‘Bhoot Police’ as it took her three hours to get into the look even as she was shooting bare feet and with cable work, throughout the chilly nights in Himachal Pradesh.

Yami shared some behind-the-camera moments from the movie on Instagram. From getting into the look of a ghost to cable work, Yami offered a glimpse into what all went into acing the look.

“My love for horror films was one of the main reasons that got me excited to play the part in #BhootPolice, where I get ‘possessed’. It wasn’t easy as it took 3 hours for me to get into this look and 45 mins to get out of it, each day, shooting bare feet & with cable work, throughout the chilly nights in Himachal,” she wrote alongside the post.

Yami added: “Despite my neck injury, I wanted to do everything myself, and my Yoga practice helped me to achieve it to a great extent. Although, I wish I could take some professional training but the pandemic restrictions made it impossible at that time.”

The actress, who is married to filmmaker Aditya Dhar, said she did whatever best she could on the set.

Rana Daggubati: ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ gave me a chance to rekindle my love for nature

Mumbai– Actor Rana Daggubati says his film ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ is very close to his heart because he has always supported the cause to conserve wildlife and added that the movie gave him a chance to rekindle his love for nature.

“Prabu Solomon (director) insisted we shoot the film at real locations with the best possible natural setting. The movie is very close to my heart because I have always supported the cause to save our wildlife,” Rana said.

The actor took a brief 15-day training with Kumki elephant trainers to be able to get into his character Bandev’s shoes.

“The film gave me a chance to connect with the mighty elephants, adapt to their surroundings and see why they are called the protectors of the wild. I still remember we had some shots where all the elephants walked together, and we could feel the ground shake,” he recalled.

Rana added: “That was the moment I actually felt their mighty presence. ‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ gave me a chance to rekindle my love for nature.”

‘Haathi Mere Saathi’ will premiere on Zee Cinema on September 18. (IANS)
