Richa Chadha on taking break: I am trying to breathe for now

Mumbai– Bollywood actress Richa Chadha recently shared a heartfelt post on her social media, opening up about her brief hiatus and the whirlwind of changes in her life.

In an Instagram post, the actress revealed that she took a small, “undeclared break” from social media, explaining that it was necessary for her to focus on her new role as a mother. She described the period as “bananas,” acknowledging the challenges of balancing motherhood with rediscovering herself.

Richa wrote, “I took a small undeclared break of sorts from SM. Sigh! Had to. Needed to. Now back. Somewhat. Between becoming a new mom and trying to remember who I was, it’s been bananas. I feel like giving birth is also birthing a new me.”

Expressing gratitude to her followers for their patience during her time away, She added, “But first, thank you to those who stayed through my hiatus. I know I don’t owe you updates, but I like to chat with you all sometime… kinda like a big WhatsApp group. I am trying to breathe for now. Lots of .”

Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal first crossed paths on the sets of “Fukrey,” and their bond has only grown stronger since then. The couple made headlines in September 2022 when they announced their plans for an eco-friendly wedding. They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in Lucknow.

The duo welcomed their first child, a baby girl last year. In a joint statement, they shared, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed and we thank our well wishers for their love and blessings.”

On the work front, Richa Chadha’s most recent appearance was in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Netflix series “Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar.”

Soha Ali Khan seeks blessings at Buddhist temple with family

Mumbai– Soha Ali Khan recently shared heartwarming photos from her visit to the iconic Kiyomizu-dera temple in Japan, alongside her husband, actor Kunal Kemmu, and their daughter, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu.

The family trip took place at the famous Buddhist temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site located in Kyoto. On Tuesday, Soha took to her Instagram handle and posted a couple of photos wherein she Kunal, and Inaaya are seen exploring the temple’s serene surroundings, taking in the stunning architecture and picturesque views.

The family looked happy and relaxed, making the most of their time together in one of Japan’s most treasured landmarks. The couple also posed together for the happy clicks. Sharing the images, Soha wrote in the caption, “Gratitude and blessings.”

A few days ago, Soha and Kunal celebrated a decade of marriage as they shared throwback pictures and videos from their 10-year-long journey together. The ‘Rang De Basanti’ actress dropped a heartfelt post, featuring a beautiful video from their wedding day, vacation snapshots, and special moments from their life together. For the caption, Soha wrote, “Ten years later… I still do, and I always will.”

Meanwhile, Kunal shared a collection of vacation photos and posted a heartfelt message dedicated to his “jaan,” Soha.

He wrote, “In sunshine, in rain. In happiness, in pain, You make the cold seem warmer, and you make the odd seem sane. Soha, daughter of former cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, tied the knot with Kunal on January 25, 2015. The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Inaaya Naumi Kemmu, on September 29, 2017.

Parineeti Chopra sings praises for husband Raghav Chadha ahead of Delhi elections

Mumbai– Actress Parineeti Chopra expressed her pride for husband Raghav Chadha on social media, praising his initiative to address the issue of overpriced food at airports.

Ahead of elections in Delhi, Chopra commended him for launching the #UdaanYatriCafe, which promises cheaper food and drinks for travellers. Parineeti expressed her admiration, calling him a true leader for bringing about real change. On Tuesday, the ‘Ishaqzaade’ actress took to her Instagram handle and shared a video of her politician husband, Raghav, where he is heard delivering a powerful speech at the Parliament.

In the clip, the AAP MP Raghav highlighted the issue of overpriced food and beverages at airports in Parliament and called for ‘corrective measures’ to make air travel more affordable.

Sharing the video, Parineeti wrote, “So so proud of you, my @raghavchadha88, for being a true leader for the people, and fixing a real problem! The newly released promo showcases Kriti Sanon in an enigmatic avatar, embodying the depth, intensity, and complexities of her character. The score promises an unforgettable musical odyssey. Following Dhanush’s heartfelt and deeply moving first look, this new reveal elevates the anticipation and intrigue for the film to an entirely new level, leaving fans eager for more.

The film also reunites the ‘Raanjhanaa’ team as director Aanand L Rai, actor Dhanush and the Grammy and Oscar-winning music composer, A.R. Rahman are joining forces after their last venture ‘Atrangi Re’.

‘Atrangi Re’, which was released in 2021 amidst the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, garnered positive response.

The film is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar, and promises to take audiences on a rollercoaster of emotions, with a monumental soundtrack by the legendary A.R. Rahman and poetic lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

‘Tere Ishk Mein’, set to go on floors this year, and is said to be a spiritual successor to the world of ‘Raanjhanaa’, as it delves deeper into themes of unrequited love, longing, and emotional conflict.

Diljit Dosanjh set goals for nature love with his ‘Jungle mein mangal’

Mumbai– Punjabi superstar Diljit Dosanjh is spending his time in serenity. The actor-singer, whose Dil-Luminati Tour has been a massive rage across the globe, is enjoying some downtime after the overwhelming response to his live shows.

On Tuesday, Diljit took to the Stories section of his Instagram, and shared videos from his escapade into nature. He wrote on one of the videos, “Jungle mein mangal”.

Earlier, the actor-singer had shared the first look from his upcoming movie ‘Punjab ’95’. He took to his Instagram, and shared an array of pictures in which he can be seen in his character from the film.

He wrote in the caption, “I Challenge the Darkness. Punjab 95”.

The film is based on the life of human rights activist Jaswant Singh Khalra. He was the director of a bank in the city of Amritsar in Punjab during the militancy period in Punjab. Following Operation Blue Star, the assassination of Indira Gandhi, and the 1984 Anti-Sikh Riots, the police were empowered to detain suspects for any reason, ostensibly as suspected terrorists.

The police were accused of killing unarmed suspects in staged shootouts and burning thousands of dead bodies to cover up the murders. Khalra was investigating four major cases at one time and continued to collect evidence and witnesses.

The Central Board of Film Certification in India had proposed 120 cuts in the film to the makers. There was no certainty over the exhibition of the film given its sensitive subject matter. However, following Diljit’s meteoric rise and global attention, it seems that the film will be finally able to see the light of day.

Meanwhile, Diljit also recently met the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi in the national capital. The two spoke about various subjects, and Dilit even sang for the PM.

Madhuri Dixit on her IIFA performance: Overwhelming sense of pride and gratitude

Mumbai– Actress Madhuri Dixit, who was recently seen in ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’, is elated to perform at the upcoming edition of the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards historic Silver Jubilee edition in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

It is set to take place from March 8 to 9, 2025, in Jaipur, Rajasthan, this milestone event promises an extraordinary fusion of cinematic artistry and cultural heritage.

Earlier, Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, who was last seen in ‘Jawan’, was seen imparting lessons in Rajasthani language to Madhuri’s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ co-star Kartik Aaryan.

A video, which has gone viral on social media, shows SRK teaching how to welcome the film industry dignitaries as he said, “Padhaaro mhaare IIFA. Padhaaro mhaare des Rajasthan. Khamma ghani”, as the two bowed in respect.

Mumbai– Actor Shahid Kapoor recently opened up about his early experiences with Randeep Hooda, revealing that he was initially intimidated by him during their workshops at the National School of Drama (NSD) with Naseeruddin Shah.

In a recent live session, the ‘Jab We Met’ actor shared that Randeep, being a senior at the workshops, had an intense presence that made him a little scared at the time. Shahid Kapoor had earlier shared a glimpse of his “prep time” on Instagram Stories with a post-workout black and white selfie. Going by his post, it seems like as he is all set to play an “edgy nasty gangster” from the 1990s.

He captioned the post, “Prep time…Naya saal naya maal (New year, new stuff)… Next character, next film what can I do that I haven’t before… Lost in the woods… But you can’t be original if you aren’t ready to be lost…”
