Richa gets drink named after her ‘Fukrey’ role

Mumbai– Actress Richa Chadha has got a drink named after her role of Bholi Punjaban from the “Fukrey” franchise.

True Tramm Trunk, a restaurant here, has introduced a new cocktail named Bholi Bhali Punjaban, which is infused with litchi fruit juice. It will be offered to patrons in a customised bottle with Bholi Punjaban’s image on the bottle.

The restobar has an array of quirky drinks with quirkier names and this was a seamless integration into their menu, read a statement.

Richa said: “I am happy that Bholi Punjaban will make people happy. I thought it was a great idea from the folks at True Tramm Trunk. I am flattered.”

Bholi Punjaban was a local gangster in the “Fukrey” franchise.

Raveena Tandon urges recycling, preserving to save planet Earth

Mumbai– Actress Raveena Tandon has urged people to save planet Earth by recycling and preserving.

Raveena, an ardent animal lover and an environmentalist, tweeted on Thursday: “Cars, fuel emissions, factory waste, garbage choked rivers, plastic waste … are all our problems!”

“Everything’s counted, slowly we are destroying this planet. Let’s be aware and in our own way, try to recycle and preserve. Join in saving … Save Aarey as well. One problem at a time.”

Mumbai’s green lung is Aarey Colony. It has been in the news as The Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL) filed an intervention plea against the National Green Tribunal order. In the plea, the MMRCL sought to axe 500 trees at Aarey Colony to set up a car shed.

Loved travelling in convertible car: Nushrat

Mumbai–  Actress Nushrat Bharucha says she loved travelling in a convertible while shooting for the song “Subah subah” from her forthcoming film “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety”.

The makers released the song on Wednesday. In the video of the single, Nushrat can be seen driving in a convertible in Rishikesh, playing Holi on Lakshman Jhula and partying on the beach with foreigners.

“My best memory of ‘Subah subah’ is when we were filming the beach party shots. I also loved travelling in the convertible. We were just playing songs in the car and driving around the roads of Rishikesh,” Nushrat said in a statement.

“This is exactly the way I like to travel. Drive by a nice river on one side or may be pretty mountains, put some music, drive with wind in my hair and not think about anything,” she added.

Directed by Luv Ranjan, the film also features Kartik Aaryan and Sunny Singh.

“Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” is slated to release on February 9.

‘Baaghi 2’ to release on March 30

Mumbai– Tiger Shroff starrer “Baaghi 2” is scheduled to hit the screens on March 30.

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under the banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and presented by Fox Star Studios, the film was earlier scheduled to release on April 27.

“Baaghi 2” is set to release on March 30, Tiger, who also starred in “Baaghi”, tweeted on Thursday. Tiger will turn almost bald in “Baaghi 2”.

Actress Disha Patani, who will be paired opposite Tiger in the film, wrote: “Rebels for love are all set to meet you!” (IANS)
