Rajkummar Rao pens b’day note for ‘love’ Patralekha: You complete me
Mumbai– Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao has showered love on the ‘strongest girl’, his wife and actress Patralekha on the occasion of her 34th birthday.
The ‘Shahid’ actor has called his ladylove the light of his life.
Rajkummar and Patralekha, who have starred together in Hansal Mehta’s 2014 directorial ‘Citylights’, had tied the knot in November 2021.
The two have been in a romantic relationship since 2010. They have also features in web series ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’.
On Tuesday, Rajkummar took to his Instagram and shared unseen pictures with Patralekha, which seems to be from their vacation to the mesmerising location of the northern lights.
The first picture shows the lovebirds romantically posing in a snow-clad backdrop, dressed in winter outfits.
There is also a solo photo of the ‘Nanu Ki Jaanu’ actress enjoying the northern lights.
Rajkummar penned a heartwarming birthday note for his wife, which read as: “Happy birthday my love, the most beautiful and strongest girl @patralekhaa. You are the love and light of my life and always remember you are God’s favourite child. You complete me.”
He gave the tune of ‘Sang Rahiyo’ by Jasleen Royal to his post.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rajkummar was last seen in ‘Bheed’. He next has ‘Sri’, ‘Mr and Mrs Mahi’, ‘Stree 2’ in the pipeline.
Patralekha has ‘Phule’, ‘Wild Wild Punjab’, and ‘Gulkanda Tales’ in the kitty.
Performance of his CCL team pacers impresses Sonu Sood ahead of tournament
Mumbai– Actor Sonu Sood, who is gearing up for the upcoming edition of the ‘Celebrity Cricket League’ (CCL), is pretty happy with the way his team Punjab de Sher has performed during the practise sessions.
Sonu, who serves as the skipper for Punjab de Sher, is specifically impressed with the performance of his pacers during the practice.
The ‘Celebrity Cricket League’ features notable figures such as Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Sonu Sood, Riteish Deshmukh, Mohanlal, Bobby Deol and Manoj Tiwari.
Talking about what lies ahead in the tournament for his team, the ‘Yuva’ actor said in a statement: “CCL is an opportunity for us to venture into sports and bring out the best of ourselves in sports by taking a break from on-screen and getting on-field. This season, the stakes are even higher as our matches will be broadcasting live on JioCinema, reaching a vast audience across the platform.”
He further mentioned that before the start of the upcoming season their practice games showed their progress.
He said: “I’m happy with how our fast bowlers performed during the practice matches, proving we have a strong team and a long run ahead. We will surely give a tough time to the opponents in this season.This season, I surely believe we can win! With our hard work and solid performance, Punjab de Sher is ready to compete and make a statement in the tournament.”

PM Modi mentions ‘Article 370’; an ‘absolute honour’, say Yami, Aditya Dhar
New Delhi– ‘Uri’ helmer Aditya Dhar’s upcoming movie ‘Article 370’, starring Yami Gautam and Priya Mani, received a mention by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a major public meeting in Jammu on Tuesday.
Addressing people from different parts of J&K, the Prime Minister referred to the film and said: “I have heard that a film on Article 370 is going to be released this week. It is a good thing as it will help people get correct information.”
A political thriller, ‘Article 370’ is set against the backdrop of the abrogation of the constitutional provision that assured a special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
Responding to PM Modi’s praise, Yami took to X, and said: “It is an absolute honour to watch PM @narendramodi Ji talk about #Article370Movie. My team and I really hope that we all exceed your expectations in bringing this incredible story to the screen!”
Aditya Dhar, the film’s producer and also Yami’s husband, wrote: “What an absoulte honour! Really hope we have done justice to this incredible story! Thank you @narendramodi ji for your kind words!”
In ‘Article 370’, Yami steps into the shoes of an intelligence officer on a mission to safeguard the nation against looming threats.
Set against the backdrop of true events, the film offers audiences a gripping narrative woven with political intrigue, threats to national security, and pulse-pounding action sequences.
Directed by Aaditya Suhas Jambhale, ‘Article 370’, which is slated for release on February 23, has a stellar ensemble cast that includes Arun Govil, and Vaibhav Tatwawadi.
Kiara Advani joins Ranveer Singh in ‘Don 3’
Mumbai– Bollywood actress Kiara Advani, who was last seen in the film ‘Satyaprem Ki Katha’, has come on-board for the third instalment of the action-thriller film ‘Don’.
The film also stars Ranveer Singh, who will be stepping into the shoes of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan for the titular role.
SRK has played the titular character in the first two instalments of the film which released in a difference of 5 years.
On Tuesday, the makers of the film took to Instagram and shared a video welcoming the actress in the film.
‘Don 3’ is one of the most anticipated films given the franchise’s legacy of almost 2 decades.
Earlier, the casting of Ranveer in titular character caused a lot of buzz akin to SRK first stepping in the iconic role which was first played by veteran Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan in the 1978 film ‘Don’ directed by Chandra Barot.
The shooting for ‘Don 3’ is reportedly set to begin in August.
