Radhika Madan gives the Maldives vibe

New Delhi– Actress Radhika Madan’s Instagram post on Thursday gives fans a reason to beat the heat. In the mid-shot pool picture, Radhika oozes oomph in red beachwear and designer shades.

“Not in Maldives,” Radhika write as caption. The witty caption, of course, refers to the fact that many stars have been posting beachside pictures from Maldives in the recent months.

Radhika had recently informed fans that she was going home to Delhi to spend time with family.

Anupam Kher sees ‘light’ despite the ‘darkness’

Mumbai– Actor Anupam Kher took to Instagram to post a message of hope for fans on Thursday.

“Hope is being able to see that there is light despite all of the darkness!” he wrote, with a picture where he is seen smiling warmly.

Kher’s wife, actress Kirron Kher, has been diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which is a cancer of plasma cells. She is currently undergoing treatment. The actor shared this with his fans on social media a few days back.

The actor’s peers and others from the film industry as well as the political arena took to social media to express their concern and prayers for her recovery.

Meanwhile, Kher also informed his fans recently that he had started working on his next project titled “Moh Maya” in Bhopal. It is being helmed by Narayan Shi. He had shared pictures from the Mahurat of the film.

Diana Penty runs on ‘sunshine and some tea’

Mumbai– Actress Diana Penty’s latest post on Thursday should send waves of positivity among fans.

The actress looks in a cheerful mood as she sips her tea in the Instagram image.

“I run on sunshine and some tea #teawithD. Ps. Sending everyone some virtual hugs and positivity. Mask up and stay safe,” she captioned the picture.

On the work front, the actress will make her Malayalam debut soon, opposite actor Dulqar Salmaan.

Diana will also be seen in Kunal Deshmukh’s upcoming Bollywood film “Shiddat” alongside Mohit Raina and Radhika Madan.

 

Ileana D’Cruz flaunts ‘golden glow’ in white cut-out number

Mumbai– Actress Ileana D’Cruz dazzles in white, in her latest Instagram post that she shared on Thursday.

In the image, Ileana wears an ivory coloured low-neck, cut-out crop top paired with a linen shirt. She completed the look with thin gold chains and earrings.

As caption, the actress chose the sun and glitter emojis.

Ileana’s latest release was the digital film “The Big Bull”, starring Abhishek Bachchan.

She will next be seen in “Unfair N Lovely”, a comic take on India’s obsession with fair skin. The film is set against the backdrop of Haryana, and features Ileana opposite Randeep Hooda.

 

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja associates with Film Heritage Foundation

Mumbai– Actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja uploaded a video on Thursday where she expressed her support to the Film Heritage Foundation, and the work the organisation has been doing to preserve timeless classics.

The actress put up multiple pictures in one post, along with a video to show the work and the need to preserve film heritage. She also hopes that future generations see the kind of efforts veterans have put into the art of cinema.

In the Instagram caption, she wrote: “Being a second generation actor in a family that celebrates cinema, I’ve grown up watching my peers and relatives give their all to each film they’ve been in. I would want the future generation to not just be able to see their passion, but also witness what it is like to pour their heart out in films. My decision to associate with Film Heritage Foundation is a testament to how strongly I feel about preserving our heritage for the future to see, appreciate and love.”

Sonam hails from a film family. Her father Anil Kapoor, uncle Sanjay Kapoor and younger brother Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor are actors, too, as are cousins Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor. Her sister Rhea and uncle Boney Kapoor are producers, while Boney’s wife, late Sridevi, was one of the biggest superstars of Bollywood.

Sonam will soon be seen in the film “Blind”. For the role , she has been learning the body language of the visually impaired.

Vidya Balan: Don’t believe in black and white world except for picture

Mumbai– Bollywood actress Vidya Balan shared a monochrome picture on Thursday on social media, saying she does not believe in a black and white world except for a picture.

Vidya posted the picture on Instagram, where she is seen sitting on a chair dressed in a black outfit. She completed her look by leaving her long hair open with a middle parting.

“I don’t believe in a black and white world, except for a picture maybe,” she wrote as the caption.

The actress had recently reminded her fans to wear masks amid the ongoing second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic, which has badly affected Maharashtra.

Vidya will next be seen in “Sherni”, for which she has been shooting in Madhya Pradesh. The film, directed by Amit Masurkar, casts her as a forest officer. (IANS)
