Priyanka Chopra says ‘let’s go’ on Day One of ‘The Bluff’ shoot
Mumbai– Indian actress Priyanka Chopra Jonas has started shooting for her next ‘The Bluff’ alongside Karl Urban in Australia, going by her post on social media.
Priyanka took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a picture of the film’s clapboard. She captioned the image: “Let’s gooooo! Day 1” along with an ‘Om’ sign.
Recently, Priyanka had shared some heart-melting pictures of her daughter Malti Marie from her make-up session. The images showed her daughter doodling over a mannequin’s face kept on the table, which the actress captioned: “When MM is in the HMU trailer.”
Another image showed Malti brushing the mannequin’s hair. The last photograph had her toddler holding the head of the mannequin, which Priyanka captioned as: “I think ‘Diane’ is coming home with us.”
Ahead of shooting for ‘The Bluff’, Priyanka had shared a reel with the cast and crew of the film on a yacht. She had mentioned that for her, it is important to know people coming together for a project are top-notch.
She had written: “When I start a new project, it’s really important for me to know that the people who come together to make it are top-notch. We spend so much time together, away from our families and homes, thinking, eating, and breathing the art we’re contributing to.”
Directed by Frank E. Flowers, ‘The Bluff’, tells the story of an ex-female pirate, played by Priyanka, who embarks on a journey to protect her family.
She also has ‘Heads of State’ set to release, starring John Cena and Idris Elba.
Sidharth Malhotra posts golden hour selfie, asks if his ‘game is on point’
Mumbai– Bollywood heartthrob Sidharth Malhotra took a picture out of his travel diary as he shared a moment from the golden hour and asked if his selfie game was on point or not.
Sidharth took to Instagram, where he shared the picture. In the image, he is seen holding the camera while he showcased his right profile with a picturesque view of the sunset in the backdrop.
The actor, who looks dapper in a white shirt in the image, seems to be sitting in an open-air restaurant with the sea as its view.
For the caption, she wrote, “Selfie game on point? #Sunset #traveldiary.”
Sidharth, who got married to his ladylove Kiara Advani in 2023 after dating for a few years, started his career in the Hindi film industry as an assistant editor for Karan Johar’s 2010 film ‘My Name Is Khan’.
He made his acting debut in 2012 with ‘Student Of The Year’. He was then seen in films such as ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, ‘Ek Villain’, ‘Kapoor & Sons’, ‘A Gentleman’ and ‘Shershaah’ to name a few.
The 39-year-old star made his debut in the OTT space with Rohit Shetty’s series ‘Indian Police Force’.
He was last seen on the silver screen in ‘Yodha’, an action thriller, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha.
The film also stars Raashii Khanna and Disha Patani.
Kajol gorges on donuts, says ‘kya karun hai kuch kuch hota hai’
Mumbai– Kajol seems to love gorging on donuts as she said “Kya karun haye kuch kuch hota hai” in her latest post she shared on the occasion of World Donut Day.
World Donut Day is celebrated on the first Friday of June each year in the US and some other countries, succeeding the doughnut event created by The Salvation Army in Chicago in 1938 to honour those of their members who served doughnuts to soldiers during World War I.
Kajol took to her Instagram, where she shared a boomerang video, where she is seen taking a big bite of the chocolate-flavoured donut.
To add an extra effect to the video, she added the title track of the 1998 film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ starring Shah Rukh Khan.
For the caption, she wrote, “Kya karun haye kuch kuch hota hai #donutworrybehappy #world donut day.”
The musical romantic drama ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ marked the debut of filmmaker Karan Johar in 1998. The film also starred Rani Mukerji, Anupam Kher, Archana Puran Singh and Salman Khan in a special appearance. It told the story of two love triangles set years apart.
Kajol’s upcoming work includes ‘Maharagni – Queen of Queens’ and ‘Do Patti’. In ‘Maharagni – Queen of Queens’, Kajol reunites with choreographer-director Prabhudeva after 27 years after ‘Minsara Kanavu’, which was released in 1997. The upcoming pan-India film is set to be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.
Kajol has been in the industry for almost 32 years. She is now gearing up for the release of ‘Do Patti’, which also has Kriti Sanon and Shaheer Sheikh in pivotal roles.
‘Do Patti’ is labelled as a mystery thriller, which is directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and tells the tale set in the northern Indian hills.
Ananya Panday on voicing Riley in ‘Inside Out 2’: ‘Tough to get the kid’s voice out’
Mumbai– Bollywood’s Gen-Z diva Ananya Panday, who has lent her voice to the character of Riley in the Hindi version of the upcoming animated film ‘Inside Out 2’, shared that the main challenge was to get the little kid’s voice out, adding she needed to keep the inner child alive.
Ananya was present at the special launch of Disney and Pixar’s fun sequel ‘Inside Out 2’ in Juhu, Mumbai.
The actress, who last featured in the streaming movie ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’ talked about the most appealing thing about the movie, and the challenges she faced in voicing Riley.
“It was like a childhood dream come true for me. Disney and Pixar are all that I have grown up watching. People say these movies are for children, but when you watch it as an adult for the second time you understand so much more,” she said.
Ananya further shared, “The most appealing thing was the humaneness of it. At every moment you are constantly feeling some emotion. For me, it was a challenge. I have never done something like this. I have only voiced myself in films, and I have been with the character for so many months and to come here and play something I don’t know the back story and everything so that was a big challenge for me.”
“When they asked me to play Riley, I said my voice just cracked, and I don’t sound like a kid anymore. So, it was tough to get the little kid’s voice out. The main emotion I felt playing Riley was joy. I needed to keep the inner child alive to play Riley,” added Ananya.
During the launch, Ananya also played a fun game ‘Spin the Wheel’. The arrow stopped at the emotion ‘envy’, and then Ananya went on to narrate the recent ‘envy’ encounter.
She said, “The last time was last night when I was on a strict diet, and my friends were having ‘Butter Chicken’. I was quite envious. They were with me, I could smell the butter chicken. Just imagine. Then there was ‘moong dal ka halwa’, and I was like ‘bas behan’. I was envious for sure.”

Lara Dutta’s birthday wish for Mahesh Bhupathi: ‘Raise your racket to the continued madness’
Mumbai– Former Miss Universe and actress Lara Dutta on Friday wished her husband and Grand Slam champion Mahesh Bhupathi on his 50th birthday, saying “onwards to the continued madness”.
Lara, who featured in Akshay Kumar-starrer action thriller ‘Bell Bottom’, took to Instagram, where she has 1.4 million followers, and shared a series of unseen pictures with the former Tennis player.
The first snap shows Lara wearing a white and orange floral bikini, with minimal makeup and tied her hair in a top bun. She accessorised the look with funky orange sunglasses and gold hoop earrings.
On the other hand, Mahesh is donning a black and blue printed shirt. The couple is standing close to each other while they pose for the lenses.
The rest of the two photos show the duo posing with their loved ones, while they are on a vacation.

Anupam Kher congratulates PM, says it’s inspiring to see ‘your dedication to the country’
Mumbai– Veteran star Anupam Kher on Friday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for winning the Lok Sabha elections for the third time in a row and said it is inspiring to see the iconic leader’s love and dedication towards the country.
Anupam took to Instagram, where he shared a video heaping praises on PM Modi and sharing how the country is proud to be led by him once again.
In the video, Anupam is heard saying: “I am proud that the biggest celebration of democracy has concluded and millions of people have chosen their government by casting their votes without any bias.”
He then went on to congratulate all the politicians who have won.
“I congratulate those who have won and congratulate PM Modiji for winning the third time.”
