Priyanka misses sheer khurma, biryani on Eid; gorges on crepes, croissants

Mumbai– Global star Priyanka Chopra has extended her warm greetings on the occasion of Eid, saying she is missing sheer khurma and biryani.

Taking to social media, the former Miss World shared a postcard with a crescent moon on it, and a message which reads as: “Missing sheer khurma and biryani back home… Eid mubarak to everyone celebrating”.

On Instagram Stories, Priyanka shared a yummy glimpse of French delicacies, and wrote: “When in France breakfast needs to include crepes and croissants…”

On the personal front, Priyanka and American singer and actor Nick Jonas tied the knot in December 2018. In January 2022, the couple had their first child, a girl, via surrogacy, named Malti Marie.

Priyanka next has ‘Heads of State’ in her kitty.

SRK, son AbRam greet sea of fans outside Mannat; ‘may Allah bless us all with love’

Mumbai– Superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday greeted his fans outside his residence Mannat, on the occasion of Eid, and said ‘may Allah bless us all with love, happiness and prosperity’.

The visuals show a sea of fans waiting outside Mannat for SRK, to get a glimpse of the ‘Badshah’ on Eid.

SRK was seen wearing a white plain kurta pyjama, and sporting a ponytail, which is his signature ‘Pathaan’ look. He was accompanied by his younger son AbRam.

The video shows him waving, and giving flying kisses to the fans, while the massive crowd was cheering for him amidst the high security.

Taking to social media, SRK wrote: “Eid Mubarak everyone… and thank you for making my day so special. May Allah bless us all with love, happiness and prosperity.”

The actor has recently won the hearts of the fans with his portrayal of Vikram Rathore in ‘Jawan’. He also had a special appearance in Salman Khan-starrer ‘Tiger 3’.

SRK last appeared in ‘Dunki’ which revolved around illegal immigration. The film stars Taapsee Pannu, and Vicky Kaushal.

Salman, joined by father Salim Khan, greets cheering crowds outside Galaxy Apts

Mumbai– In the tradition of Bollywood stars on the occasion of Eid, Salman Khan appeared on the balcony of his Galaxy Apartments pad in Bandra and waved out to thousands of his fans jostling for vantage spots to capture the moment on their phone cameras.

As the twilight skyline lit up with mobile torch lights, Salman paced up and down his balcony with his trademark half smile and greeted the crowds. Giving him company and also saluting the crowd was his father, Salim Khan, the famous half of the Salim-Javed screenwriting duo, who now leads a retired life, unlike his better-known counterpart, Javed Akhtar.

Unlike Shah Rukh Khan, who was his theatrical self on the terrace of his bungalow, Mannat, engaging in acrobatics on the railing as he greeted his fans, Salman was a picture of restraint.

Earlier in the day, Salman, who uncharacteristically did not have an Eid release this year (the slot was kept for the Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff action comedy, ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’), had announced he would play the titular role in his Eid 2025 release, ‘Sikander’, helmed by A.R. Murugadass.
