Payal Ghosh’s new film ‘New York To Haridwar’ is about journey

Mumbai– Actress Payal Ghosh has signed up for a film titled “New York To Haridwar”, written and directed by Rajeev Chaudhari.

The film is about a journey, quite like Payal’s debut feature, The Telugu film “Prayanam”.

“I love traveling, and life, as we all know, is a journey. I started with Prayanam, which means ‘journey’, and which was kind of a travel film. After so many years I will be shooting for another film on travel and journey. I am super excited about this,” Payal said.

She said that part of the film would be shot in New York and part of it in Haridwar.

Payal added: “We are preparing through zoom calls currently. Technology is such a saviour during these times. I pray for everyone in our nation. Let’s all follow the protocols and take the vaccination whenever the opportunity comes. It’s a deadly pandemic but nothing beyond our spirit.”

Sunny Leone acts out her favourite emojis

Mumbai– Sunny Leone has revealed her most favourite emojis, in an Instagram post on Wednesday.

In a video clip she has uploaded, Sunny brings alive her favourite emojis by acting them out before the camera.

“What’s your fav emoji? Remix with me and tell me!!” she wrote as caption.

Sunny is currently in Kerala shooting the upcoming psychological thriller film “Shero”. The film is directed by Sreejith Vijayan and is scheduled to be released in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam.

She is also all set to make her digital debut with the web series “Anamika”, helmed by Vikram Bhatt.

Kajol’s quip on summer being cancelled

Mumbai– There’s no sign of the pandemic ebbing just yet, and actress Kajol on Wednesday chose to highlight the situation with a throwback picture and trademark wit on Instagram.

The picture is from Kajol’s early Bollywood days the nineties. In the image, the actress wears a colourful silk outfit with a straw hat and long earrings.

“As everything for the summer is canceled, I might as well wear a fancy hat and call it a year!” the actress wrote as caption.

Kajol was last seen on screen in the digitally released film, “Tribhanga”, directed by Renuka Shahane. The film narrates the story of three generations of women. Kajol plays an actress-dancer who shares a strained relationship with her mother (Tanvi Azmi), a noted author. The film also stars Mithila Palkar as Kajol’s on-screen daughter.

Sonakshi on social media ban buzz: Last post has to be a selfie

Mumbai– Sonakshi Sinha on Wednesday reacted to speculations that Instagram and Twitter could be banned, saying the last post one shares has to be a selfie.

In her new Instagram picture, the actress gives a half turn at the camera with her hair stylishly falling on one side of her face. She wears a black vest for a casual impact, and reveals a hint of a smile.

“If it’s gonna be the last post… has to be a selfie,” she wrote.

The deadline passed for big social media platforms Twitter, Facebook and others to enforce measures that the Centre has mandated in new guidelines.

On the work front, Sonakshi will be seen in “Bulbul Tarang”, which will have a digital release. She also has the film “Bhuj: The Pride Of India” lined up where she will be seen alongside actors Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt and Nora Fatehi.

Besides this, the actress is gearing up for her web series debut with “Fallen”, where she plays a cop.

Rakul Preet suggests Yog Nidra to beat pandemic stress

Mumbai– Rakul Preet Singh on Wednesday shared a tip to overcome anxiety and stress in the time of Covid.

The actress shared a photograph on Instagram, where she can be seen resting on the ground in a gym with her eyes closed and hands stretched.

“No! I am not sleeping off. This is how I relax post workout, with a session of Yog Nidra, as suggested by my wellness expert @munmun.ganeriwal .If the pandemic anxiety is making you sleepless, stressed or if you are recovering post COVID, she suggests giving Yog nidra a shot. And I cannot agree more! #everydaypostworkout,” she wrote alongside the image.

On the work front, Rakul’s latest release is the digital film “Sardar Ka Grandson” co-starring Arjun Kapoor and Neena Gupta. The Kaashvie Nair directorial also features Kumud Mishra and Soni Razdan. (IANS)
