Parineeti Chopra shares glimpse of her Europe train journey

Mumbai– Actress Parineeti Chopra, who is currently on vacation in Europe, shared on Tuesday a peek into her train journey to an unknown location.

Taking to Instagram, Parineeti, who has 44.2 million followers on the photo-sharing application, shared a video in the Stories section, in which she can be seen enjoying a train ride.

She was donning a white top, a blue jacket, and a black cap. Parineeti was sitting by the window side, and her selfie video provides a glimpse of the picturesque landscape in the background.

The post was captioned as: “Train journeys for life”.

Parineeti had tied the knot with Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Raghav Chadha, on September 24, 2023, in a private luxury hotel in Udaipur.

On the work front, the actress, who had joined Yash Raj Films (YRF) as a public relations consultant, made her acting debut in 2011 YRF’s romantic comedy ‘Ladies vs Ricky Bahl’ starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma.

She later was seen in movies like ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, ‘Hasee Toh Phasee’, ‘Jabariya Jodi’, ‘The Girl on the Train’, ‘Golmaal Again’, ‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ and ‘Mission Raniganj’.

Parineeti last featured as Amarjot Kaur in the biographical musical drama ‘Amar Singh Chamkila’. Directed by Imtiaz Ali, the film stars Diljit Dosanjh in the titular role.

It charts the untold true story of Punjab’s original rockstar of the masses, the highest record-selling artist of his time, Amar Singh Chamkila. The film is streaming on Netflix.

Vicky Kaushal’s comfort food: ‘Maa ke haath ki sevaiyan’

Mumbai– Bollywood heartthrob Vicky Kaushal has revealed his comfort food “maa ke haath khaana”” as he shared pictures of an Indian dessert made by his mother.

Vicky took to Instagram, where he shared a picture of a bowl full of “sevaiyan”. Sharing it with pride with his fans and followers, he captioned the picture: “Maa ke haath ki sevaiyan”.

For the background score, the star used the track “Tareefan” by rapper Badshah and Qaran from the 2018 film “Veere Di Wedding”. The track is originally picturised on Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania.

Talking about Vicky, the actor’s latest release is “Bad Newz”, where he starred alongside Triptii Dimri and Ammy Virk. The film was a hilarious take on heteropaternal superfecundation, where twins are born to the same mother, but from different biological fathers. The film was released on July 19.

After the film was released, Ammy had written a special note for Vicky.

He shared a string of images with Vicky, expressing how he had an absolute blast working with the ‘Sam Bahadur’ actor.

Ammy wrote in the caption: “From rehearsals to red carpets, it’s been a blast with my brother Vicky Kaushal. Lights, camera, and bromance. Couldn’t have asked for better. Just two Punjabi Munde planning to take over the world! Sharing the screen was an absolute pleasure. Talent ta hai hi, par dil vi bahut vadda veer da. Thank you for the experience, bhaji.”

During the promotions of “Bad Newz”, Vicky had shut down rumours revolving around his actress-wife Katrina Kaif’s pregnancy.

Addressing the pregnancy rumours back then, he had said: “When there is some good news, we will be very happy to share it with you. But until then, there is just speculation. Jab good news ka time aayega we will share with you (When the time for good news comes, we will share it with you).”

The actor will next be seen in “Chhava“ directed by Laxman Utekar. In the movie, Vicky will be seen as Maratha emperor Sambhaji, son of Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. “Chhava” also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta.

Rakul Preet Singh reveals her ‘comforter’ struggles in hotels

Mumbai– Actress Rakul Preet Singh has hilariously shared her “relatable” struggles with “comforters” in a hotel room.

Rakul took to Instagram, where she shared a meme, where a woman is seen struggling to pull out the duvet from the bed in a hotel room.

The funny meme had: “When you are ready to go to sleep at a hotel but first you need to pull out the comforter that is attached to Earth’s core,” written on it.

Rakul captioned it: “Anyone relate to this (laugh emoji) I do.”

On August 4, Rakul, who is married to filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani, celebrated a major fitness milestone on the photo-sharing app. The actress had completed over 21000 footsteps.

She posted a photograph of her smartwatch, which showed that the “De De Pyaar De” actress completed 21,573 footsteps and covered a distance of 15.37 km.

The newly-married actress captioned the image: “Days like these” with dancing girl emojis.

Rakul and Jackky got married in February this year in Goa. They had an intimate wedding celebration among their close friends and family members.

On the professional front, Rakul made her acting debut in 2009 with the Kannada film “Gilli”. Over a journey spanning 15 years, the actress showcased her prowess in several language films including Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.

She worked in movies such as “Rough”, “Keratam”, “Venkatadri Express”, “Yennamo Yedho”, “Current Theega”, “Bruce Lee”, “Thadaiyara Thaakka”, “Puthagam”, “Yaariyan”, “Aiyaary”, “De De Pyaar De”, “Doctor G”, “Thank God”, “Cuttputlli” and “Chhatriwali”.

Rakul, whose last big screen outing was in S. Shankar’s Tamil vigilante action film “Indian 2”, will next be seen in “Meri Patni Ka Remake”, “Indian 3” and “De De Pyaar De 2”.

Taapsee Pannu discovers a different side of her personality with sarees

Mumbai– Actress Taapsee Pannu, who has two films lined up to release this month, has shared her newfound appreciation for sarees and how they have helped her discover a different side of her personality.

Taapsee revealed that wearing sarees, which are a traditional part of Indian attire, has introduced her to a new aspect of herself and also shared that it’s truly ‘comfortwear’.

The actress said: “I think I discovered a new side of my personality. When I embraced wearing sarees, and by sarees, I don’t mean the ones that people generally wear on red carpets or special occasions or festivals. I’m talking about the daily wear sarees.”

Taapsee, who is currently in Paris enjoying the Summer Olympics, has been seen strolling around in her avant-garde sarees.

The actress recently attended the hockey match between India and Great Britain, which India won, securing a spot in the semi-finals against Germany.

Taapsee has collaborated with the fashion label Suta and is embracing the vibrant colours of France while donning stunning sarees.

The actress noted, “I realised a different side of my personality started showing when I wore these sarees. Over time, as I liked what I saw in the mirror, I became more and more comfortable wearing them.”

On the professional front, Taapsee will next be seen in ‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ and ‘Khel Khel Mein’.

‘Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba’ is a sequel to her 2021 film ‘Haseen Dillruba’ and will be released on Netflix on August 9.

‘Khel Khel Mein’, a theatrical release, features Taapsee alongside Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal, and will hit theatres on August 15.

Shilpa Shetty’s touching message for mother-in-law on her birthday

Mumbai– Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra penned a heartwarming note for her mother-in-law on her birthday on Tuesday, sharing how she has brought joy and love into their lives.

Taking to Instagram, where she has 32.3 million followers, Shilpa shared a reel video featuring a montage of unseen pictures with her mother-in-law, Usha Rani Kundra.

The video includes pictures of Shilpa posing with her mother-in-law and her two children, as well as a picture of her husband, Raj Kundra.

Shilpa captioned the post: “Happy birthday to the woman who brought joy and love into my partner’s and my life.
