Parineeti to visit Saina’s Hyderabad home to prepare for biopic
Hyderabad– Actress Parineeti Chopra, who is all set to play Saina Nehwal on screen, will be visiting the ace badminton player’s home here for the first time, as part fo preparation for her role.
“I want to become Saina. For that I want to go to her house and see how she lives. We have met many times, but this time I want to go to her house, live like her and eat like her for a day. She has promised me that her mom will feed me the exact food that Saina eats. So I am excited to go to her house and live her life for one whole day,” Parineeti said.
Bollywood actors working in biopics have been known to make the extra effort to bring alive the character on screen. In the recent past, actor Ranveer Singh spent 10 days with Kapil Dev, to prepare for his role of the Indian cricketer in “83”. Earlier, Priyanka Chopra Jonas spent time with boxer Mary Kom to essay the wrestler’s life story.
The Saina Nehwal biopic is directed by Amole Gupte and is being produced by T-series.
Twitter loves SRK’s interview with David Letterman
Mumbai– Shah Rukh Khan’s fans across the globe have fallen in love with the superstar all over again after watching his latest interview with television host David Letterman on Netflix, which is currently viral.
Fans of King Khan took to Twitter to express their love for the superstar after watching the interview and they just can’t stop gushing about it.
The actor took to Twitter to share the news with his fans that he is watching his own interview with younger son AbRam.
He tweeted, “So you finally settle down on your soft bed, with your softer littlest one & say, “let’s watch something new today…on @NetflixIndia …” and this banner pops up!! & the littlest one quips…”papa it’s not new…it’s just you!! Well…”
Reacting to SRK’s tweet, a fan wrote: “Loved it. Best statement when you said Shah Rukh Khan is a myth I am just his employee. More glory to you.”

Anupam Kher shares #FanMoment with Big B
Mumbai– Anupam Kher attended the Diwali party hosted by Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan and is super delighted. He also opened up on his fan moment with Big B.
The actor took to Instagram to express his excitement and post a picture where he is seen posing with Big B.
“Thank you dearest @amitabhbachchan ji and Jaya ji for a loving and grand Diwali Party. Had a blast. Met so many friends under one beautiful roof. Have been in NYC so didn’t realise I had missed my colleagues this much. So many affectionate hugs warmed my heart. Jai Ho. #FanMoment”, wrote Kher, captioning the photograph.
On the work front, Anupam Kher will next be seen in the movie “Hotel Mumbai”, which recounts the 26/11 terror attack at Mumbai’s iconic Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in 2008.
Directed by Anthony Maras, the film stars Dev Patel and Hollywood actor Armie Hammer. The film is set to hit the screens in India on November 29.
Vaani Kapoor: Sanjay Dutt, Ranbir Kapoor are super human beings
Mumbai– Actress Vaani Kapoor has praised her “Shamshera” co-stars Sanjay Dutt and Ranbir Kapoor. She has tagged them as “amazing actors and super human beings”.
“They are such amazing actors and they are super human beings. They are so lovely and down to earth. Sanjay sir is so adorable and super sweet. Ranbir is one of the most watchable actors for me and I have always loved his work on screen as an audience,” Vaani told IANS.
The actress is over the moon to be a part of “Shamshera”, a Yash Raj Films production set in the 1800s. The film is directed by “Agneepath” maker Karan Malhotra, and is about a dacoit tribe that fights for their rights and also the nation’s Independence against the British.
Nia Sharma grooves with Guru Randhawa
Mumbai– Television actress Nia Sharma took the dance floor by a storm as she grooved with Punjabi singer Guru Randhawa.
A video on social media is doing the rounds, where Nia can be seen dancing with Randhawa on the hit number “Suit suit karda”.
In the clip, Nia looks stunning in a glitzy silver lehenga choli and Randhawa is seen in a creamy white kurta pyjama with a dark coloured Nehru jacket and an emboridered wrap.
Nia and Randhawa were at a Diwali bash. The celebrations were also attended by Mika Singh, Kanika Kapoor, Aditi Sharma and Kapil Sharma among many others.
‘Rajkummar’s performance has reached superlative transformation’
New Delhi– Nushrat Bharucha is all praises for her “Love Sex Aur Dhokha” (‘LSD’) co-star Rajkummar Rao and says the latter’s performance has reached superlative transformation.
“I am really small in terms of the body of work that I have done and the actor I am. I am far away from Rajkummar is. I think his performances reached superlative transformation from who he is to what he’s on screen. He’s amazing,” Nushrat said.
“It’s amazing how he can do it so differently and so convincingly, purely. I think these three things are what Rajkummar is and it’s a delight to watch an actor in that sort of pure form,” she added.
The two actors started their Bollywood journey together with ‘LSD’ in 2010.
Nushrat and Rajkummar will once again be seen sharing screen space in the upcoming film “Turram Khan”.
“It’s an absolute delight to work with Rajkummar again. We both started our lives and journey with ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’. We got our mark of what and who we were as actors right there in the first film and then he had his journey and I had mine and after I think eight years we have come back on a film, where we are like ‘Where were we all these years’…
Working with Shoojit Sircar a dream come true: Vicky Kaushal
New Delhi– Actor Vicky Kaushal says it’s a dream come true for him to be working with filmmaker Shoojit Sircar in the upcoming biopic “Sardar Uddham Singh”.
“It’s a dream come true for me to be working with Shoojit Sircar because it’s a very different process of acting and making a film when you are working with him,” Vicky told IANS.
The actor will bring alive the story of Udham Singh, who assassinated Michael O’ Dwyer, the former lieutenant governor of Punjab in pre-Independence India, in revenge for the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in Amritsar in 1919. Singh was subsequently tried and convicted of murder and hanged in July 1940. (IANS)
