Namrata Sheth says working with Raveena Tandon was an ‘educational experience’
Mumbai– Actress Namrata Sheth, who essays the role of Karma Talwar in the upcoming streaming show ‘Karmma Calling’, has said that working with actress Raveena Tandon was an “educational experience” for her.
The actress shared that initially she was “incredibly nervous” given that she was sharing the screen with the queen of the 1990s. However, her nervousness waned off once the two started working together.
Talking about working with Raveena Tandon, Namrata shared: “I was incredibly nervous for many reasons. I went through several rounds of auditions before locking the part, and by the time I got the part, I was raring to go. I met Raveena Ma’am at a look test shoot and she was just instantly so warm and lovely that she made the entire experience very easy. It ended up being more fun than intimidating because she had so much expertise and professionalism, she was just there to kill it.”
She added: “Looking at her made me feel like I had to pull my socks up every single day. She is a fun person to be on set with. She does not let you feel a sense of intimidation because she knows the presence she comes with. It was the most educational experience for me, so I was not nervous long after.”
‘Karmma Calling’ is set to drop on Disney+ Hotstar on January 26.
Vijay Varma visits Golden Temple, girlfriend Tamannaah gives ‘sweet’ compliment
Mumbai– Actor Vijay Varma, who has started the shooting for his next project ‘Ul Jalool Ishq’ in Amritsar, Punjab, visited the Golden Temple to seek blessings, and his girlfriend Tamannaah Bhatia has a ‘sweet’ compliment for her beau.
The movie stars Vijay, alongside Fatima Sana Shaikh, and Naseeruddin Shah. It is written and directed by Vibhu Puri.
Sharing glimpses from his Golden Temple visit on Instagram, Vijay penned a note which read as: “New beginnings need a lot of blessings. Our story brought us to Amritsar and gave us the opportunity to bow down at the majestic Golden Temple… 2024 started with a prayer, love and poetry for us Ul Jalool Ishq.”
In the photos, we can see the ‘Darlings’ actor wearing a grey hoodie, and black joggers. He is sporting a moustache, while he smiles for the cameras.
Tamannaah took to the comment section and wrote: “Soooooooo sweet”, followed by red heart emojis.
Sharib Hashmi, who is also the part of the movie ‘Ul Jalool Ishq’, commented: “Dherr saara pyaar n duayein”.
On January 9, Manish Malhotra, the producer of the film, had shared the picture of a clapboard that marked the beginning of the shoot, and had written: “The beginning of our emotional and love journey #UlJaloolIshq”.
In September, 2023, Manish had announced the launch of his own production house named ‘Stage 5 Production’.
On the work front, Vijay next has ‘Murder Mubarak’, ‘Suriya 43’.
Kareena: No one ever come between me, my Chinese food
Mumbai– Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is an ardent social media user, on Wednesday expressed her fondness for Chinese food, and has called herself a ‘foodie for life’.
The actress, who enjoys 11.4 million followers on Instagram, shared a picture of herself, wherein she can be seen seriously eating yummy food. She is wearing a red and black checkered shirt, and her hair is tied in a bun.
The location of the picture is not known, but it seems like she is sitting in a fine-dine restaurant.

Hrithik and Anil will be sharing the screen space in the aerial action film ‘Fighter’ directed by Siddharth Anand.
Anil shared a captivating picture from the sets of ‘Fighter’, adding an extra layer of excitement for fans eagerly awaiting the project. The shared snapshot provides a sneak peek into the friendship between Hritik and Anil, as they embrace their roles on the action-packed film’s set.

Aamir Khan flaunts mehendi design during daughter Ira’s wedding festivities
Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, whose daughter Ira Khan tied the knot with fitness expert Nupur Shikhare, was recently seen flaunting his mehendi at the wedding festivities of his daughter.
In the pictures from the wedding which have surfaced on the Internet, the Bollywood superstar was seen dressed in a powder blue kurta-pyjama set which he paired with a short jacket as he showed off his mehendi to the camera. He is seen getting a small star sign and other symbols made in henna on his palm. Ira Khan can be seen sitting beside him in her beige and cream lehenga.
The picture was taken before Ira got the arm-length mehendi design as part of her mehendi ceremony.
The actor also performed at the sangeet ceremony of his daughter as he sat down on stage to perform the song ‘Phoolon Ka Taaro Ka’ along with ex-wife Kiran Rao and their son Azad Rao Khan. Ira and Nupur are set to exchange the wedding vows traditionally on Wednesday evening at the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur.
Nupur Shikhare proposed to Ira in 2022 and is the official fitness trainer of Ira and Aamir. The pre-wedding festivities started with a Haldi ceremony on Tuesday. The couple made it official on January 3. They signed the marriage registration document in the presence of friends and family at the Taj Lands End in the Bandra area of Mumbai. (IANS)
