Mouni Roy’s emotional birthday shoutout to Smriti Irani melts hearts

MUMBAI, India — Actress Mouni Roy poured her heart out for former co-star Smriti Irani on her birthday, calling her a pillar of strength and someone she deeply admires.

Sharing a cozy photo of the two hugging, Mouni posted, “Happy Birthday Smriti Di… I truly look up to you and love you very much for your resilience, your fire, and the way you hold your ground with such grace… You’re rare, and I’m endlessly grateful for you.”

The two share a long history, with Mouni making her TV debut on the iconic “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi,” where she played Smriti’s on-screen daughter. The hit show, produced by Ekta Kapoor, ran from 2000 to 2008 and recently returned with a new season marking Smriti’s comeback — though Mouni didn’t feature in it.

On the work front, Mouni is gearing up for Madhur Bhandarkar’s “The Wives” and will also appear in David Dhawan’s romantic comedy “Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,” alongside Varun Dhawan and a star-studded cast.

Shilpa Shetty swears by ‘underrated’ glute move, then devours samosas on cheat day

MUMBAI, India — Fitness icon Shilpa Shetty is proving age is just a number, and she’s got the workout (and cheat meals) to back it up.

Shilpa Shetty

The 50-year-old actress dropped a new workout video showing off Reverse Hypers, calling them “one of the most underrated” exercises for building glutes and strengthening the lower back. She highlighted how the move boosts hip strength, targets the posterior chain, and even helps reduce stiffness.

Shilpa also gave fans a quick routine: three sets of 15–18 reps, with 45–60 seconds of rest in between.

Her husband Raj Kundra couldn’t resist chiming in, joking in the comments, “That’s Glutiful.”

But it’s not all strict discipline. Just a day earlier, Shilpa embraced her foodie side, indulging in samosas on her cheat day and playfully writing, “Jab tak rahega samose mein aalu… tab tak main bolungi ‘ek aur khaalu?’”

From hardcore workouts to fried snacks, Shilpa’s balance is clearly working.

Ajay Devgn flexes ’90s swag in viral trend, says “you could never match up”

MUMBAI, India — Ajay Devgn is taking fans straight back to his golden era, jumping on the viral “What were you like in the ’90s?” trend — and owning it.

Ajay Devgn

The Bollywood star shared a fun Instagram video featuring his son Yug asking, “Dad, what were you like in the 90s?” What followed was a blast of nostalgia, with clips and photos of a young Ajay from his early films that made him a superstar.

Ajay didn’t hold back in the caption either, writing, “Beta, 2026 you could never match up to the 90s me.”

The trend, set to the Goo Goo Dolls’ hit track “Iris,” has been flooding social media with throwback moments, and Ajay’s entry is pure old-school swagger.

On the film front, Ajay was last seen in “De De Pyaar De 2” and is now gearing up for “Dhamaal 4,” which is currently slated for a July 3 release after multiple delays to avoid box-office clashes.

Directed by Indra Kumar, the comedy sequel brings back fan favorites including Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, and Sanjay Mishra, along with a fresh lineup of new faces.

Looks like Ajay’s still got that ’90s energy — and he knows it.

Shraddha Kapoor gushes over aunt Padmini Kolhapure’s singing, calls it “sweet sweeeeeeet”

MUMBAI, India — Shraddha Kapoor is all heart when it comes to family, and she just proved it by cheering on her “maasi” Padmini Kolhapure’s latest musical moment.

Shraddha Kapoor

Padmini took to Instagram and shared a video of herself singing the classic “Madhuban Khushboo Deta Hai,” instantly winning praise — especially from Shraddha, who jumped into the comments with, “Such sweet sweeeeeeet singing.”

The veteran actress, a star of the ’80s with a career spanning over four decades and 75-plus films, first began acting as a child and went on to become a household name.

Shraddha, daughter of actor Shakti Kapoor, has carved her own path with hits like “Aashiqui 2,” “Stree,” and “Chhichhore,” becoming one of Bollywood’s most popular stars.

Looking ahead, she’s set to return in “Stree 3,” slated for 2027, and will also take on a biopic based on legendary Tamasha performer Vithabai Narayangaonkar, along with the much-anticipated film “Nagin.”

From iconic aunt to superstar niece, talent clearly runs in the family.

Sheena Chohan channels Raja Ravi Varma’s iconic women in stunning modern makeover

MUMBAI, India — Actress Sheena Chohan is turning heads with a bold artistic tribute, reimagining legendary painter Raja Ravi Varma’s iconic women with a fresh, modern twist.

In a striking four-photo series, Sheena steps into timeless roles — from Damayanti sharing a soulful moment with a swan to a serene moonlit figure, a graceful princess with fruits, and a poised classical heroine. Each frame blends old-world beauty with contemporary expression.

Opening up about the project, Sheena said, “Recreating Raja Ravi Varma’s women was incredibly inspiring for me… This series was my way of honouring their strength and making them feel alive and relevant today.”

On the work front, Sheena was recently seen in “Sant Tukaram” and will next appear in the Telugu psychological thriller “Jatasya Maranam Dhruvam.” She also has “Arjunanin Allirani” and her Hollywood film “Nomad” in the pipeline.

Varun Dhawan shows off ripped physique, says “hai jawaani toh workout karna hain”

MUMBAI, India — Varun Dhawan is flexing hard — and he’s got a message to go with it.

Varun Dhawan

The actor dropped a gym mirror selfie showing off his bulging biceps and chiseled abs, holding dumbbells and locking eyes with the camera. But it was his caption that grabbed attention: “Hai jawaani toh workout karna hain… Par aap kaunsi bhi age ho kar lo.”

The line cheekily nods to his upcoming rom-com “Hai Jawaani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,” directed by his father David Dhawan.

The film, inspired by the vibe of the classic “Biwi No.1,” features a packed cast including Mrunal Thakur, Mouni Roy, and others.

Varun, who made his debut with “Student of the Year” in 2012, recently opened up about his early days assisting Karan Johar on “My Name is Khan.” His father revealed it was Karan who spotted Varun’s potential after a photoshoot and decided to launch him.

From behind-the-scenes assistant to full-blown fitness icon, Varun’s clearly not slowing down. (Source: IANS)
