Malaika Arora gives sneak peek into her workout; pet Casper joins fitness fun
Mumbai– Model, and actress Malaika Arora, who is a fitness freak, on Monday dropped a glimpse of her morning workout, serving major fitness goals to her fans.
Malaika, who enjoys 18.8 million followers on Instagram, took to the stories section, and shared a photo, wherein she can be seen working out in her home.
The dancer, who is best known for her performance in the song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ can be seen wearing a black shorts and matching T-shirt.
The picture also gave a cute glimpse of her furry friend — pet dog Casper.
The post was captioned as: “Best way to start my day, my week ahead.”
On the work front, she is currently seen as the judge of celebrity dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’ season 11.
The other judges are Arshad Warsi and Farah Khan. It is hosted by Gauahar Khan and Rithvik Dhanjani.
‘India is aatmanirbhar’: Amitabh Bachchan on Maldives row
Mumbai– Amid the row over Maldives politician Zahid Rameez criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent visit to Lakshadweep, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has India is ‘aatmanirbhar’ (self-reliance), and admired the astonishingly beautiful locations of the Lakshadweep and Andamans.
Zahid Rameez, a council member of the Progressive Party of Maldives, had mocked the PM’s visit, and said India would never be able to compete with Maldives in regards to tourism.
Bollywood celebs on Sunday urged their fans to explore Indian islands, and took to their social media accounts to promote Indian islands.
Joining the bandwagon, Big B re-shared former cricketer Virender Sehwag’s tweet and wrote: “Viru paji .. this is so relevant and in the right spirit of our land .. our own are the very best .. I have been to Lakshadweep and Andamans and they are such astonishingly beautiful locations .. stunning waters beaches and the underwater experience is simply unbelievable .. ham Bharat hain, ham aatmanirbhar hain, hamari aatmanirbharta pe aanch mat daaliye.. Anshuman Jha, wife Sierra will soon become parents
Mumbai– Actor Anshuman Jha and his athelete-writer-chef wife Sierra have announced that they are expecting their first baby in March, 2024.
Anshuman is known for his works in movies like ‘Lakadbaggha’, ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’, ‘Yeh Hai Bakrapur’, ‘Chauranga’, ‘Angrezi Mein Kehte Hain’, and ‘Mastram’.
Much like their wedding in October 2022, they threw a very private baby shower with their close friends before jetting off to New York for Christmas and New Year. The baby will be born in America as Sierra ‘s mother is there.
Anshuman, who lost his parents in 2020, stressed on the importance of having grandparents around in childhood.
He said: “Having your mom around is critical at this time – for the mother and the child. I wish my mom was around. And Sierra is blessed to have her mom and dad by her side.”
While it is legal in America to know whether it’s a boy or a girl – the couple have intentionally chosen to not find out. “We want to be surprised. Let nature take its course. The child is not coming from us, it is only coming through us and we will be grateful for whatever God blesses us with,” shared Anshuman.
He added: “We are very grateful. It felt the closest to the feeling of seeing God – when you see a dot on screen in the first sonography – I felt like that’s it – I see God, the soul, life in essence.”
On the work front, he has begun training for ‘ Lakadbaggha 2’. He will also star in ‘Hari-Om’, with Raghuvir Yadav. Anshuman will make his directorial debut ‘Lord Curzon Ki Haveli’, scheduled for release in 2024.
‘False’: Vijay Deverakonda, Rashmika Mandanna engagement rumours
Mumbai– Amid reports of Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna getting engaged in February, sources close to the actors on Monday termed it “false”.
A media report stated that the two are getting engaged. However, when IANS contacted their representatives, they denied.
“The report is false,” sources told IANS.
Reportedly, the actors are dating, however, they have not made their relationship official.
The two have starred together in movies like ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika is basking in the success of recently released action thriller ‘Animal’, in which she stars opposite Ranbir Kapoor.
She next has ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, ‘Rainbow’, ‘The Girlfriend’ and ‘Chaava’.

Varun Sood juggles workouts, long shoots & strict diet for ‘Karmma Calling’
Mumbai– Actor Varun Sood has shared insights into the rigorous physical preparation he underwent for his role in the upcoming show ‘Karmma Calling’, and revealed the challenges of balancing intense workout sessions, long shooting hours, and maintaining a disciplined diet to achieve a unique on-screen persona.
Varun who plays Ahaan Kothari, has spilled the beans on his fitness routine and diet regime.
Talking about the same, he said: “For Ahaan, I had to take my workout regime to a different level altogether because I just wanted to be on camera in an avatar where no one has seen me before. It was quite intense to manage both my workouts and the shoot on the same days, there were times where I was shooting for 12-15 hours, and I still had to make time for two hours of gym everyday.”
“About the diet, I was barely eating any carbs, barely eating any salt and thankfully my foundation in fitness was great so I didn’t have to go crazy about it, but just following a discipline in terms of food was the challenging part for me specially while I was shooting,” added Varun.

Vaani Kapoor to star opposite Ajay Devgn in ‘Raid 2’
Mumbai– Actress Vaani Kapoor will be seen as the lead opposite Ajay Devgn in Raid 2.
The actress is known for her performances in films like Shudh Desi Romance and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui and War.
The film, which is a sequel to the 2018 film ‘Raid’, has gone on floor on January 6 in Mumbai and brings together director Rajkumar Gupta and producers Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar.
The film is scheduled to be shot extensively in Mumbai, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
‘Raid 2’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Kumar Mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak and Krishan Kumar. The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series and is a Panorama Studios production.
