Lockdown diaries: Katrina Kaif works out as her sister Isabelle films

Mumbai– Katrina Kaif spends a whole lot of time working out to stay active during self-quarantine, and who should play the professional cameraperson to capture the Bollywood star’s fitness moves but her sister Isabelle.

On Tuesday, Katrina shared a couple of split-screen videos on her Instagram account where she can be seen working out at her building’s terrace, while her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala also sweats it out at her home due to social distancing.

Katrina captioned: “#WorkoutFromHome #Part2. Since we are all practicing #SocialDistancing @yasminkarachiwala and I worked out at our homes and put the workouts together for you to do at yours. Stay home stay safe.”

In the introductory video, Katrina says: “Since we are all still practicing social distancing, I am going to be doing my workout from home, Yas is going to do it from her house and we are going to do split screen. We are going to do a 10-minute warm-up and a 20-25 minutes full body routine.

Big B works out at home, asks fans to keep ‘the gym going’

Mumbai– Bollywood veteran Amitabh Bachchan has been inspiring fans to stay fit during self-quarantine in the time of the coronavirus outbreak.

On Tuesday, Big B posted a selfie from his gym.

“Keep the gym going.. build resistance.. fight fight fight,” he captioned the image.

Amitabh’s post has garnered a lot of praises.

Actor Sidharth Malhotra commented: “Love and respect sir.”

Actor Dino Morea wrote: “Terrific sir…keep it going.”

On the film front, Big B will be seen in “Chehre” and “Gulabo Sitabo”.

Swara Bhasker: World facing a dangerous pandemic

Mumbai– Actress Swara Bhasker feels the whole world is facing a huge and dangerous pandemic, and says that it is time to leave aside political differences and do our bit for the safety of the country.

“The whole world is facing a huge and dangerous pandemic.. it has been found that self quarantine and social distancing slow the speed with which the virus spreads,” Swara said.

“As our government makes efforts to bring the situation under control- as responsible citizens we must do our bit and follow the prescribed restrictions. Every movement has to adapt into the reality of the moment. And at this moment it is important that we leave aside our political differences and do our bit for the safety of the country and the whole world,” she added.

Earlier this week, the actress had posted on Instagram, urging the protesters to go home and self isolate due to the threat of the coronavirus.

She posted: “My appeal to ALL the sit-in protests in times of Corona We are committed to the Constitution and we are committed to the values of the Constitution. At a time of global pandemic – as the Corona virus Covid-19 spreads all over India rapidly.. self quarantine, isolation and social distancing are the only ways to lessen the speed with which this virus spreads. As citizens it is our duty to isolate ourselves and social distance. In light of these developments- my appeal to the amazing Dadis of Shaheen Baugh and all the fiesty women and people of the sit-in protests across the country: Stand Up! Self isolate! Vacate the streets!”

Siddharth Nigam urges people to spread happiness amid coronavirus pandemic

Mumbai– “Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga” actor Siddharth Nigam believes in creating happiness among others, especially in the time of coronavirus pandemic.

“Happiness is a really powerful emotion and I believe that we as humans can spread happiness in ways we can’t even imagine. Especially in these stressful times, it becomes furthermore important to just be there and do something for people around us and cheer up their day,” Siddharth said.

For him, “happiness comes around when his loved ones are happy” and he really loves “to spread happiness amongst everyone through our show ‘Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga’.”

“While I always make attempts to keep the viewers entertained, they make me extremely happy by showering so much love and appreciation for my performances,” Siddharth added.

“Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga” airs on Sony SAB.

Anushka looks back at ‘Phillauri’ three years on

Mumbai– Actress Anushka Sharma’s production venture “Phillauri” was released three years ago on this day. The actress looks back at the film saying it was an attempt at disrupting the content landscape on her part as an artiste as well as her production house Clean Slate Films.

” ‘Phillauri’ was a daring project for Clean Slate Films. We were giving India its friendly, lovable neighbourhood spirit that audiences had never seen before. From a concept level itself, it was unique. I was pleased to see the reactions for the film and it validated our attempt at making something extremely new and extremely original to the audiences,” Anushka said.

She added: “The film was modern and youthful and yet had an underlying cultural and historical reference that connected with people. For a young production house like ours, ‘Phillauri’ was an attempt in trying to disrupt the content landscape.”

As a producer, Anushka says she also tried to ensure the film had original compositions. The soundtrack is credited to Shashwat Sachdev and Jasleen Royal.

“Even the album of ‘Phillauri’ was original. In an era of remixes, our album stood out with original compositions. I’m proud of the film and happy that we took the call to produce it,” she said.

Personally, Anushka says the film was an enriching experience. She learnt several new things playing a friendly ghost.

Disha Patani and Tiger Shroff’s sister make funny ‘bored in a house’ video

Mumbai– Actor Tiger Shroff’s sister Krishna along with actress Disha Patani are getting bored at home — at least that’s what they have expressed through there latest funny “bored in a house” video.

To kill their boredom, Disha and Krishna have made a Tik Tok video. The two were seen dancing to the tunes of an amusing track “I’m bored in a house”.

Disha shared this fun video on Instagram and captioned: “This is how we do it #quarintinelife @kishushroff.”

On the work front, Disha’s performance in her last release, “Malang” was applauded, and the film did good business. She will soon be seen sharing screen space with superstar Salman Khan in the upcoming film “Radhe”.

Tiger’s new film “Baaghi 3” had opened to good response and was on its way to crossing Rs 100 crore at the box office, before the coronavirus pandemic forced all theatres to shut down.(IANS)
