Karisma Kapoor shakes a leg to ‘Haye Hukku’ with ‘IBD 4’ contestant

Mumbai– The judge of ‘India’s Best Dancer Season 4’- Karisma Kapoor grooved to her popular track ‘Haye Hukku’, along with the contestant of the dance reality show.

In the upcoming weekend, Jaipur’s Yash Garg leaves a mark with his open-style choreography on the song ‘Sham’ from the movie ‘Aisha’, leaving the judges mesmerised.

Swayed by his performance, judge Geeta Kapur said: “Love, love love! We had termed Samarpan Lama as the ‘Cutie Minister’ last season because of his cuteness but I would like to call you my ‘Favourite Minister.’ You are a winning combination.”

Karisma added: “Yash, I know that you are special. Your expressions, your grace, your moves; they were magnificent and I genuinely felt that.”

The beautiful actress then cheekily adds that after watching Yash perform, host Aniket Chauhan is in big trouble as Yash has all the possibilities of becoming her favourite contestant.

She also gives him not one but two ‘Lolo Loves’ as a mark of appreciation.

Post his performance, Yash walks up to Karisma and getting on his knees, he requests her to join him for a dance on stage. Obliging him, both of them dance to the famous song, ‘Haye Hukku Haye Hukku Haaye Haaye.’

The song, which is sung by Kumar Sanu and Poornima, is from Karisma’s 1994 action comedy film ‘Gopi Kishan’. Directed by Mukesh Duggal, the film stars Sunil Shetty in dual roles, alongside Shilpa Shirodkar and Karishma.

Their performance was so captivating that their judge of the show Terence Lewis joined them as well.

Not only this, but in a fun moment, Karisma will be seen sewing a button on Terence’s shirt which further showcases her skill beyond her judging duties on the show.

‘India’s Best Dancer 4’ airs on Sony.

Deepika Padukone: Never followed a diet I cannot be consistent with

Mumbai– Actress Deepika Padukone said that she eats well and has never followed a diet that she cannot be consistent with.

Deepika took to Instagram, where she shared a collage of pancakes paired with whipped cream, brownie with ice cream and samosas.

For the caption, the mother-to-be shared that she eats well.

“Surprised to see this on my feed? Well, I eat! And I eat well! Ask anyone who knows me. So don’t believe anything else you might hear or read. The trick? Balance, Consistency and Listening to YOUR Body,” Deepika said.

The 38-year-old shared that there is a misunderstanding around the word diet.

“There seems to be a lot of misunderstanding around the word ‘Diet’. We often believe that ‘Diet’ means to starve, to eat less and to eat all of the things we detest. What ‘Diet’ really means is the total of all the food and drink consumed by an individual,” she said.

“The word actually comes from the Greek word ‘diaita’, which means ‘way of life’. I’ve always, for as long as I can remember, followed a ‘Balanced Diet’,” Deepika wrote.

Deepika strongly said that she loves to indulge.

“And it is for me ‘a way of life’. I’ve never followed a diet that I cannot be consistent with or one that is a fad. Now, do I indulge? Of course, I do, as demonstrated above! But it most certainly isn’t my way of life,” she wrote.

“Ever heard the phrase ‘you are what you eat?’ If there’s one thing I’ve learnt (the hard-ish way) it is that those words couldn’t be truer.”

Talking about her work, Deepika will next be seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ alongside Ajay Devgn.

Arjun had previously given out a shout to his sister Janhvi Kapoor and her upcoming film ‘Uljah’ on Instagram stories.

Sharing the poster, he wrote: “I’m hooked, caught up in this espionage tale of twists and turns/// So happy seeing @janhvikapoor playing around with roles and genres!”

On July 16, the makers of the film ‘Ulajh’ dropped the trailer, which showed Janhvi as Suhana Bhatia, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner. The story traces the journey of her character, who is embroiled in a treacherous personal conspiracy during her crucial assignment at the London embassy.

Shambhavi Singh reflects on joyful childhood monsoon memories

Mumbai– Actress Shambhavi Singh has recalled her memories of the monsoon with her family, speaking about how it is one of her favourite seasons, but she is unable to enjoy it fully.

Shambhavi, who plays the role of Preeti in the supernatural thriller ’10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak’, said: “So, the monsoon season is like one of my favourite seasons of all. I have always enjoyed it, and I remember since school times I used to always wait for the rains to start, firstly because of the holidays we used to get due to heavy rains.”

“I also used to purposely forget the umbrella at home so I could just be drenched and have fun with my friends while coming home. My mom used to be so angry because I would often fall sick after it. So, yeah, I think each and everyone, as kids, has a very special memory of this time of the year,” she shared.

She said that sometimes while growing up people start to change but one thing about her has not changed that is her love for the rainy season.

“But things have been a little different as I do not get to spend time near my window eating pudina chutney and pakora, which is made by my mother and one of my favourite things because of my schedule.”

She said that since shooting for ’10:29 Ki Aakhri Dastak’, she did night shifts.

“During the day, I get so tired that all I want to do is sleep. So when I am travelling, I often enjoy the rains, keep my window open, and make sure I have droplets all over my face and enjoy every bit of the monsoon,” she added.

The show stars Rajveer Singh as Abhimanyu Sinha. It also features Aayushi Bhave and Krip Suri.

The show airs on Star Bharat.
