John Kokken: Every scene with Anupam Kher is going to be memorable for me

Mumbai– Actor John Kokken spoke about teaming up with Anupam Kher, and shared that he was well-prepared before sharing screen space with him in ‘The Freelancer:The Conclusion’.

John Kokken, who plays the role of Raghuvendra Setu, said: “One of the things that I have learned in my career as an actor is to do my homework well and prepare the lines.

“I rehearse the lines a couple of times in advance and I memorise the entire scene. Also, considering the fact that I was going to act with Anupam Kher Sir, I had better be prepared. On the day of the shoot, before the take, Anupam Kher Sir and I rehearsed the lines probably at least 10 times in Neeraj Pandey Sir’s presence.”

He added: “Anupam Kher Sir is a phenomenal actor and an amazing co-star to work with, always encouraging his co-actors to bring the best performance out of them. I am happy and grateful that I got to perform alongside him. Every scene with Anupam Kher Sir is going to be memorable for me for a lifetime.”

The series is based on the book – A Ticket to Syria by Shirish Thorat, directed by Bhav Dhulia. It also stars Kashmira Pardeshi, Sushant Singh, Gauri Balaji and Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis, Sarah Jane Dias amongst others.

Big B asks about Emmy International winner in ‘KBC’, Vir Das reacts

Mumbai– Star comedian Vir Das has shared a reaction over a video of megastar Amitabh Bachchan questioning a ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 15’ contestant about Indian International Emmy Award in 2023.

Vir took to X, formerly called Twitter, where he shared a clip from the quiz-based show. The question that Big B asked was “In 2023, which Indian was a joint winner of the International Emmy Award for Best Comedy Series?”

To which, the options were: A. Kapil Sharma, B. Mallika Dua, C. Vir Das and D. Zakir Khan.

After the contestant gave an incorrect answer, Big B said that it is Vir Das.

Sharing the video, Vir captioned the clip with a smiling face and folded hands emojis.

The 44-year-old comedian was feted with the International Emmy Award for Comedy for his standup special Vir Das: Landing.

Salman gives a bear hug to Abhishek Bachchan at Anand Pandit’s b’day party

Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was seen greeting Abhishek Bachchan at producer-distributor Anand Pandit’s birthday bash with a big bear hug and the video has gone viral.

A video from the party shows Salman warmly welcoming Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek with a hug.

A video shared by celebrity paparazzi Viral Bhayani posted a video on Instagram capturing the moment.

The clip shows, Salman wishing Anand Pandit. Amitabh then comes in and the ‘Dabangg’ star approaches the thespian greeting him with a handshake and a warm hug.

Following Amitabh, Abhishek greets film producer Sajid Nadiadwala, later sharing a bear hug with Salman. The two were seen having a conversation as well.

This was a rare sighting as Salman and Abhishek, who have been seldom seen exchanging pleasantries. The two share some history as Salman and actress Aishwarya Rai were in a relationship.

However, the actress later tied the knot with Abhishek in 2007. The two have a daughter named Aradhya. (IANS)
