Jacqueline is first female celeb to get visibility at Saudi Arabia airport

Mumbai– Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez is the first female celebrity to get visibility at the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia (KSA) airport.

According to Mid-Day, she is now in a commercial at the KSA airport airport. This makes her the first woman celebrity to get visibility at the airport.

Sharing her excitement, Jacqueline took to her Instagram Stories and revealed the news to fans. She shared glimpses of her look in the ad, for Hala Kasa.

On the professional front, Jacqueline is gearing up for the digital release of her upcoming film “Drive” on Netflix. The film also stars
Sushant Singh Rajput.

She will also be seen in Netflix’s “Mrs.Serial Killer”. It is written and directed by filmmaker Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder.

Salman Khan’s next ‘Radhe’ scheduled to roll on Nov 4

Mumbai– After Chulbul Pandey, superstar Salman Khan is set to don the cop’s uniform again in “Indias Most Wanted Cop: Radhe”, which is scheduled to on floors on November 4.

There were multiple reports stating that Sohail Khan has registered the title of “India’s Most Wanted Cop: Radhe” for the film, which is expected to hit the screens on Eid 2020.

Although an an official announcement from Salman’s side is awaited, a report by koimoi.com claims that the movie is expected to go on floors on November 4.

The movie will be directed by “Dabangg 3” director Prabhudeva, and is said to be an adaptation of the 2017 Korean film “The Outlaws”. It revolves around a police officer who is assigned with the task of finishing the underworld gang clashes in the city.

Recently, Salman wrapped up “Dabangg 3”, which also stars Sonakshi Sinha as the female lead Rajjo. The film also introduces Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar, and features Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep and Pankaj Tripathi among others.

He is also busy with weekend specials of “Bigg Boss 13”.

Mumbai– Ahead of megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s 77th birthday on October 11, his daughter Shweta Bachchan posted a heartfelt post for him on social media.

Shweta on Wednesday took to Instagram and wrote: “Home is not a place, it is a person.”

Along with the post, she uploaded a throwback picture in which Big B is seen holding the baby Shweta in his arms.

The father-daughter duo has often expressed their love for each other on social media.

Earlier this year, on the occasion of Father’s Day, Shweta had posted adorable post for her father, writing,”I don’t know if I believe in mirrors to souls, but when we smile, you and I, our noses crinkle in the same way, as if choreographed, and our cheeks balloon up just so…to see your face at the end of a long day makes me feel I’m home, no matter where in the world we are, so maybe, just maybe, when I look at us in a picture, sharing a joke, I become a believer.”

Bollywood’s Rekha turns 65

Mumbai– Veteran actress Rekha might not be active on social media but that didn’t stop her fans and admirers from celebrating her 65th birthday in the virtual world.

Rekha, who is considered to be one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood and an eternal beauty, turned 65 on October 10. Celebrities and social media users took out time to send their good wishes.

Actress Aditi Rao Hydari posted on Instagram: “Happy birthday forever beautiful #Rekhaji”.

Writer-director Shagufta Rafique also wished Rekha on her birthday.

She tweeted: “Rekhaji is 65! I was 5 when I saw ‘Sawan Bhadon’ n birthday girl was 16… But I still like the old Rekhaji of the 70s… #Happybirthday Diva.”

Actress Manisha Koirala wrote: “Happy birthday dear #Rekhaji you’re an epitome of grace, beauty, intelligence and talent… We adore you!”

Actress Kangana Ranaut’s team took to Instagram and Twitter to wish Rekha on her special day.

Priyanshu Chatterjee plays daring cop in new film

Mumbai– Actor Priyanshu Chatterjee, who is gearing up for the release of “Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000”, has said that truth alone triumphs is the message of the forthcoming action-cop drama.

Priyanshu was interacting with the media at the trailer and music launch of “Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000” on Wednesday in Mumbai.

The film focuses on crucial social issues and the current state of the political and police departments.

Priyanshu plays IPS officer Arjun Singh. Talking about his character, the actor said: “He is very sensitive and at the same time very daring and honest. The film is about how he fights with the system to ensure justice for one family.”

Asked what message his upcoming film will give to the audience, Priyanshu said: “The message we are trying to give through this film is that dishonesty cannot win against truth. It tells that truth alone triumphs, no matter what the situation is. That’s what my character tries to advocate in the film.”

Sharing his experience of working with writer and director Arshad Siddiqui, Priyanshu said: “He is a great human being, and a very good writer and director. Whatever he envisions as a writer, he has the ability to present it on-screen as a director.”

“Officer Arjun Singh IPS Batch 2000” also features Raai Laxmi, Vijay Raaz, Govind Namdev and Deepraj Rana. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on October 18.

Farhan: Wanted to work in a film produced by Priyanka

 Mumbai– Farhan Akhtar returns as an actor in “The Sky Is Pink”, co-produced by his co-star in the film, Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Farhan said he always hoped that one day he would get to do a film produced by Priyanka.

Farhan was interacting with the media on Wednesday at a special screening in Mumbai of the film along with co-producer Siddharth Roy Kapoor, who came with wife Vidya Balan.

Farhan has directed Priyanka Chopra Jonas in “Don” and “Don 2”. Priyanka and Farhan have also co-starred in his sister Zoya Akhtar’s directorial “Dil Dhadakne Do”. This time, Farhan has worked in a film co-produced by Priyanka’s banner Purple Pebble Pictures.

“This film has a really heart-touching story. It is based on a true story and I feel the audience get connected quickly with real-life stories. Other than that, I always wanted to work with the film’s director Shonali Bose after watching her last film ‘Margarita With A Straw’. There is Priyanka (Chopra) in this film, who is also producing the film, and I was hoping that one day I will do a film produced by Priyanka’s production company,” Farhan said. (IANS)
