Farhan, Shibani undergo freezing ‘cryotherapy’ treatment

Mumbai– Star couple Farhan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar recently underwent cryotherapy treatment.

Sharing a picture of the treatment, Farhan on Tuesday took to Instagram Story and wrote: “Cryotherapy.. The cold never bothered me anyway.”

In the image, Farhan is seen undergoing the treatment at extreme low temperature.

For those who don’t know, cryotherapy is a technique where the body is exposed to extremely cold temperatures for several minutes.

Apart from pictures, Shibani also posted the videos from her cold therapy session, saying “can’t tell you guys how good this felt if you are training like a best to this”.

Shibani underwent the trratment for three minutes at minus 130 degrees.

On the film front, Farhan is currently busing shooting for Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s “Toofan” in which he is playing a boxer.”

Ali Fazal’s look in ‘Death On The Nile’ revealed

Mumbai– The first look of Ali Fazal’s Hollywood film “Death On The Nile” has been unveiled, and the Indian star is seen acing the moustached look.

The actor, who is currently shooting for the film in London, sports a pencil moustache in the film, which is a modern-day screen adaptation of Agatha Christie’s famous novel of the same name.

In the image, Ali is seen standing in an alley, looking into the camera. He seems to be alert, and seems to be looking out for something or someone. He sports a pencil-thin moustache, and is wearing a striped suit with black gloves and a striped muffler.

“Death On The Nile” is being directed by Kenneth Branagh, who will also play Hercule Poirot in the film. Other cast members include Gal Gadot, Letitia Wright, Armie Hammer, Annette Bening, Rose Leslie, Sophie Okonedo, Tom Bateman, Emma Mackey, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders and Russell Brand.

The film is the second adaptation of an Agatha Christie novel by Irish actor-director Branagh, after 2017’s “Murder On The Orient Express”.

Aamir wishes wrestler Babita Phogat on her wedding

Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan took to social media to wish Gold medalist wrestler-turned-politician Babita Phogat on her marriage on Tuesday.

“Dear Babita Phogat, wishing you and Vivek Suhag a happy, healthy and fulfilling marriage together. Love,” Aamir tweeted.

The actor-producer’s 2016 blockbuster “Dangal” was based on the real-life journey of Babita and her elder sister Geeta, and narrated how their father Mahavir Singh Phogat created wrestling champions out of them. While Aamir played Mahavir Phogat in the film, Sanya Malhotra in an impressive debut act, essayed Babita. Fatima Sana Shaikh played the elder sister Geeta Phogat.

Directed by Nitish Tiwari, “Dangal” has raked in over Rs 2,000 crore at the global box-office and remains Bollywood’s biggest hit of all times.

Coming from Haryana, a state known as being blatantly male-dominated, Babita won a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games, and silver medals at the 2010 and 2018 Commonwealth Games, besides numerous other honours.

After the release of the film, the Phogat sisters became household names. She also appeared in the dance reality show “Naach Baliye” and joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in August 2019.

Vikrant Massey engaged to girlfriend Sheetal Thakur

Mumbai– Actor Vikrant Massey got engaged to his long time girlfriend Sheetal Thakur in a private roka ceremony.

“I think I would like to speak about this at the right time, but yes we had a very small private function. I would talk about marriage and everything at the right time,” Vikrant was quoted as a saying in an interview with Koimoi, confirming the news of his engagement.

While the news has become public only now, unconfirmed reports state that the ceremony happened last month.

Vikrant and Sheetal have featured together in the web-series “Broken But Beautiful”.

On their Instagram portals, one can see a lot of their loved-up photographs with each other.

Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan’s ‘Shankara’ song of ‘Tanhaji’ launched

Mumbai– Ajay Devgn as Tanaji Malusare dances with his men even as he keeps a close eye on his enemy Udaybhan Singh Rathod, played by Saif in the film, in the video of “Shankara Re Shankara” the latest-released song of the upcoming film “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior”.

The over two-minute video opens with Ajay mouthing a powerful dialogue: “Dushman ko harane se pehle dushman ko dekhna chahta hu.”

Ajay tweeted: “Danke ki chot par bajega ek hi naara, #ShankaraReShankara! Song out now: #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior.”

The film is about the battle of Sinhagad in 1670, which was fought between Tanhaji Malusare and Udaybhan Singh Rathod.

Netizens are mostly thrilled about the track.

A Twitter user drew parallels between Ajay and Hrithik Roshan.

“#ShankaraReShankara Ajay Devgn and Hrithik have such a strong and impactful eyes that only eyes of these two are enough to perform and even enact better than many bollywood stars,” wrote the netizen.

Shruti Bapna: Working with Rani Mukerji in ‘Mardaani 2’ was incredible

Mumbai– Actress Shruti Bapna says it has been an “incredible” experience working with Rani Mukerji in the upcoming “Mardaani 2”. In the movie, Shruti plays a cop who is a pivotal part of Superintendent of Police Shivani Shivaji Roys (Rani Mukerji) team.

“It was challenging as well as exciting because I was working with Rani. Working with her has been incredible. She is a natural — so real and easy to work with. She is very dedicated to her work and she helps co-actors with inputs. I got to learn so much. She is very friendly and warm. Towards the end of the shoot, we started bonding very well. She makes sure her entire team is happy and comfortable. She has been very kind to all of us. It was lovely working with her,” Shruti gushed, while speaking to IANS.

Elaborating on her role, the actress shared: “I play a cop in Rani’s core team. She is a local cop from Rajasthan, very dedicated and sincere towards her duties, and we as a team are out to chase the criminals who are committing these brutal crimes against women.”

When quizzed how she aced the Rajasthani dialect, Shruti said: “I have tried to make my character real and authentic, giving her that dialect from Rajasthan. Although I hail from Rajasthan, we don’t speak the language at home. So, I needed to learn the dialect. For that, I took help from a close friend who belongs to that region.” (IANS)
