Armaan Malik

“I have gone through a lot of bullying in my school days. Not many people know that, but now through all these activities that I’m doing (on his social media), I want to let people know that there is a side of Armaan Malik which is very human, which is very relatable to everyone. I’m the same like any other kid out there,” said Armaan.

“I was bullied a lot in 7th and 8th grades and that kind of scarred me a lot in life. Till date if you actually ask me I don’t really have very close friends and the reason for that is also bullying, because a lot of the people who bullied me in school were my friends and I kind of distanced myself from all of that and concentrated on my music and that gave me some kind of hope to go on,” he said during the third season of “Talking Music”.

“I actually really liked Papa’s (Boney Kapoor) perfume, so as a kid I would enter his wardrobe and put on his perfume. I like men’s perfume a lot, actually. At night, I like to mix men’s perfume with women’s perfume to make a mix of little tangy and little formal,” said the actress, who was announced as the global brand ambassador of United Colors of Benetton Fragrance.

The brand claims that it wants to spread the message of love through its products. Asked what her definition of love was, Janhvi said: “I think it’s the only thing you can’t describe in words. I really can’t describe but it’s a feeling. I think it is bigger than all of us.

“I once read this quote that ‘everything we do in life is a way to be loved a little more’. So, whatever we do in life, we do it for the love. And I will continue doing it for getting the love of people.”

On the film front, Janhvi will next be seen in a number of projects, including Zoya Akhtar’s “Ghost Stories”, Sharan Sharma’s “Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl”, Hardik Mehta’s “Roohi Afza” and Collin D’Cunha’s “Dostana 2”.

Mahira should play independently: Her mom on ‘Bigg Boss’

Mumbai– Actress Mahira Sharma’s mother Sania Sharma says Paras Chhabra and her daughter have formed a strong bond but she needs to play independently in the “Bigg Boss” show now.

“I am very happy and satisfied with how Mahira has been playing in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house. She is neutral towards things, situations and people. She is neither too calm, nor too aggressive nor abusive. I am happy she kept the family’s integrity in mind as we do not believe in such things,” said Sania.

“Last week when Paras (Chhabra) and Mahira got lowest votes… it was a sinking feeling but I am glad that she is still out there. Paras and Mahira have had a great bond over time but going by the recent course of events, I think Mahira should now play independently.

“She is the youngest of the contenders but can also prove to be the toughest if required. She has performed all tasks with utmost sincerity. It is good to have friends there in the house but she should not have blind faith in anyone, even if it is her closest pal,” she said.

The Salman Khan-hosted show has celebrities like Sidharth Shukla, Rashami Desai and Madhurima Tuli as contestants.

Richa Chadha: ‘Inside Edge’ has been a huge pet project for me

Mumbai– Actress Richa Chadha considers the “Inside Edge” show as her “huge pet project”.

As the second season of the cricket drama is about to launch, Richa shared that she felt “bad” for missing the promotional activities of the show.

She said: “I have been in Lucknow shooting for a new unannounced project. ‘Inside Edge’ has always been a huge pet project for me simply because it was the first of its kind and I’m extremely close to the story and very proud of the work that has gone into it.

“However, we as a team had to take a call and my dates were already committed here and thus my physical presence for the promotions wasn’t possible. Though I feel bad owing to me missing in Mumbai, I’m certain that the loyalists of the show will definitely come back and see the brand new season and I’m excited to see what people think of the second season”.

Written and directed by Karan Anshuman, the first season of “Inside Edge” revolved around the Mumbai Mavericks team — a part of PPL (Powerplay T20 League), which is a fictional Indian Premier League kind of T20 cricket tournament.

The second season, which also features Angad Bedi, Tanuj Virwani, Sayani Gupta and Sapna Pabbi, will stream on Amazon Prime Video from Friday.
