Deepika, in a PDA moment, shares pic of Ranveer’s ‘early morning look’

Mumbai– Actress Deepika Padukone clicked a picture of her husband and actor Ranveer Singh, whom she lovingly called her “morning view”.

Deepika posted the picture on Instagram, where Ranveer appears to be sleeping with his hoodie covering half of his face.

“My Morning View! @ranveersingh (click emoji) – Yours Truly,” Deepika captioned the picture, which currently has 536K likes on the photo-sharing website.

This is not the first time Deepika and Ranveer have engaged on PDA on social media. The power-couple keep sharing pictures and loved-up comments on their social media for each other.

Ranveer and Deepika will soon be seen sharing screen space in filmmaker Kabir Khan’s sports biography ’83’, based on India’s win at the World Cup in 1983 under the captaincy of Kapil Dev.

Radhika Madan, Sunny Kaushal’s ‘Shiddat’ to release digitally on Oct 1

Mumbai– The trailer of Radhika Madan and Sunny Kaushal’s upcoming romantic film ‘Shiddat’ released on Monday. The film will release digitally on October 1. The film also stars Mohit Raina and Diana Penty.

Radhika uploaded the trailer of the film on her Instagram account and captioned it as: “Shiddat trailer! Feel the power of love with #ShiddatTrailer, out now. Shiddat releasing on 1st October on @disneyplushotstar.”

Sunny also uploaded the trailer with a similar caption.

The trailer shows the story of two strangers who meet. While Radhika’s character is engaged to someone else, Sunny’s character is head-over-heels in love with her.” Mohit and Diana are seen getting married in the trailer.

The film will be released digitally on October 1 on Disney+ Hotstar. The film is directed by Kunal Deshmukh and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan.

Arjun Kapoor: Work for the long term, not for quick results

Mumbai– Actor Arjun Kapoor says he feels encouraged with the appreciation that he has been receiving for his physical transformation and added that one should have long term planning to stay fit and not look at short term results.

Arjun, who has battled obesity for the longest time, wants to share the wealth of knowledge that his trainer and food curator have to offer through his social media so that people benefit from it.

He said: “It is really encouraging to see people appreciative of the hard work that I’m putting in. It feels great to constantly try to become better. I have to give a lot of credit to my trainer Drew Neal and Akshat Arora, who has taken care of my nutritional needs with his inventive dishes, for keeping me on track.

“I’m really lucky that I have them to keep me focussed on my fitness goals every single day.”

The actor said that a lot of people have been asking him to share how he has transformed himself and so he is thinking of starting chat sessions on social media with his trainer, food curator, among others to “discuss how a transformation can be achieved without pushing your body close to the edge”.

He added: “Without doing it in a harmful way that can have adverse effects on one’s body and health. One should have long term planning to stay fit and healthy and not look at short term results.”

Mallika Sherawat on playing Ekta Kapoor-like TV producer in ‘Nakaab’

Mumbai– Actress Mallika Sherawat who is playing the role of ‘Zohra Mehra’, a leading and influential TV producer in the web show ‘Nakaab’, says she relates to the perseverance of her character. And she also talks about her perspective on this character being compared with TV czarina Ekta Kapoor.

When asked about the same, Mallika says: “I have immense respect for Ekta and all that she has achieved in what was always a male-dominated industry. And while many may like to compare, my character Zohra is in fact made of a strong fabric, and I can totally relate to her. I started out from scratch and worked hard to reach where I am today.”

She adds: “All I can say is that it takes a lot of perseverance to make it on your own. As a single woman, it was tough, there are hurdles that you might think you will never be able to cross but eventually you make your way through. Kudos to all the women out there, trying to carve their own path.”

‘Nakaab’ revolves around cop Aditi Amre (Esha Gupta) who get assigned to a high-profile death case of a prime-time television actress Vibha Dutta (Ankita Chakraborty) who was very close to Zohra Mehra (Mallika Sherawat). Aditi’s monotonous life turns upside down when she starts unfolding intricate details about the case. As Aditi embarks on this journey with her senior, Pawan Bisht (Gautam Rode), she discovers a part of her own personality that she never knew existed within her.

The Soumik Sen directorial features Esha Gupta, Gautam Rode, Mallika Sherawat and Ankita Chakraborty, and is all set to release on September 15 on MX Player.

Farah Khan ribs Anil Kapoor on his cooking skills

Mumbai– As veteran actor Anil Kapoor tries his hand at cooking for an upcoming episode of the food show ‘Star vs Food Season 2’, Kapoor’s old friend and filmmaker Farah Khan quipped that she has “zero expectations” on his cooking skills as he never cooked “in the last 30 years”.

As the show also involves the friends and family members of the star guest, for Anil Kapoor, Farah and Kapoor’s sister-in-law Maheep Kapoor shared their anecdotes on the actor’s cooking skills.

Farah said, “Zero expectations from him because I’ve never seen him cook in all these 30 years that I know him. It’s good because I am starting from zero so unless it is really burnt and uneatable everything will be higher than what I expect.”

Kapoor tried to cook ‘slow-roast lamb slider’ and ‘Gnocchi Pasta’, under the guidance of Chef Ganesh, Executive Chef at Silly, in Mumbai.

Farah also added, “I am not fond of Pasta, but this Gnocchi Pasta is the best I have eaten.”

Maheep shared, “I’ve been married for 21 years, dated Sanjay for 5 years so 26 years in this family. Anil has never entered the kitchen…ever, so after 26 years I’m eating Anil Kapoor’s food.”

Post the cooking session, the food was served to Farah, Maheep and actor Arbaaz Khan who is also an old friend of Anil Kapoor.

Karan Johar brands Raqesh Bapat as ‘sexist’ on ‘Bigg Boss OTT’

Mumbai– The finale week on ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ has started with a lot of emotions and eliminations also as Bigg Boss asked the contestants to control their emotions while meeting their parents and family members.

So, a lot can be seen happening inside the house – from Moose Jattana getting eliminated to Divya Agarwal meeting her real-life love connection Varun Sood. But what caught everyone’s attention was when KJo pointed out the comment by Raqesh Bapat on women during the Ticket to Finale task.

When Karan entered the stage, he questioned Raqesh on his game plan and later scolded him for passing anti-feminist comments on female housemates and called him “sexist”. During the Ticket to Finale task, Raqesh said that “men are stronger than women” and Karan took a stand for all the women in the house and said: “We are living in a woke world where you don’t say things like this”.

He further added: “Let me tell you, my dear, if push comes to shove and I hope it never does, Shamita can kick your ass, Neha can kick your ass and Divya can kick everybody’s ass”. Raqesh didn’t agree and tried to defend himself by clarifying that: “I do reflect on it and my intention was not that, honestly. I live in a house full of women, I know what it is, what strength is and where it comes from”.

Later, Karan asked Moose and she said that she had told Raqesh that “strength doesn’t come from gender”. However, Shamita was seen defending Raqesh that his intentions were not to demean any woman.

During the episode, Karan also said that he doesn’t want to avoid this remark as it would make him a part of the ‘cancel culture’ which he’s not. He further shared that he finds it offensive even when he is told that he is not man enough. (IANS)
