Chitrangada is all praise for Dallas-based choreographers

The choreographers performed Chitrangadha’s dance number, “Aao raja”, from the film “Gabbar Is Back”.

Erem Khan and Sudeesh Nair are the creative directors at Stage Skuare Entertainment, a bollywood dance company based in Dallas.

Kangana’s sister defends actress’s Jayalalithaa look against trollers

Mumbai– Kangana Ranauts sister and spokesperson Rangoli Chandel has come down heavily on netizens who have trolled the Bollywood actress’s look as late Tamil Nadu chief minister J. Jayalalithaa, in the latter’s upcoming biopic, “Thalaivi”.

“Anyone who has got eyes can see the brilliance of prosthetic work baki samosa gang is there jo din ko raat aur raat ko din kehte hain, they are inconsequential,” claimed Rangoli on Twitter, in response to the countless memes and negative jibes that have come Kangana’s way, ever since the first look poster was released online on Saturday, along with a teaser of the film, reports hindustantimes.com.

While substantial hype had been created over Kangana’s prosthetic preparation for the role in the US, once the first look was revealed, many on social media were far from impressed. Rather than Jayalalithaa, the look was compared by netizens, in turns, to Anil Kapoor’s obese avatar in “Badhai Ho Badhai”, and ever Smriti Irani.

“Thalaivi” also features Arvind Swami, and the film directed by Vijay is slated to open on June 26 next year.

Urvashi took to Instagram to share a cute picture of the new addition in her family, which has been gifted to her as a congratulation for “Pagalpanti”.

Although she has not confirmed who gifted the dog, unconfirmed reports state that Pandya is behind this endearing gesture.

According to sources, knowing that Urvashi is fond of pets, he ensured that she has one of the cutest breed.

In 2018, there were rumours Urvashi and Hardik Pandya were in a relationship. The recent rumours have raised the speculation over whether the sparks are flying once again.

“Pagalpanti” released on Friday. The slapstick comedy is directed by Anees Bazmee.

The film also features John Abraham, Arshad Warsi, Pulkit Samrat, Ileana D’Cruz and Kriti Kharbanda.

Govinda’s daughter Tina features in new single ‘Ranjha’

New Delhi– Actor Govinda’s daughter Tina Ahuja features in the new single, “Ranjha”.

Sung by rapper Lil Golu and Rigul Kalra, “Ranjha” is a romantic track that sees Tina is essaying the fabled Heer.

Talking about the song, Tina said: “I always wanted to be a Heer and this song is special as my previous single with ‘Milo Na Tum’ with Gajendra Verma was a remake of the original Lata Mangeshkar’s from ‘Heer Ranjha’. It’s a quirk of fate to get an opportunity of being Heer immediately in my very next single. Maybe Heer Ranjha film is waiting for me next.”

The song was shot in Goa.

“Winter is the season of love and my soothing romantic track comes at the right time. The song will also make you think about the priceless moments spent with your loved ones and take you on a romantic nostalgic trip making you want to fall in love all over again,” she added.

Had more scenes in Badla than Big B yet it’s called his film: Taapsee

Mumbai– Actress Taapsee Pannu feels Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan has been unduly given more credit than her for their recent hit, “Badla”.

Taapsee Pannu

“Even when I do films like ‘Badla’, I had more working days or scenes so to say than Mr. Bachchan. He was the hero of the film, I was the antagonist. But the antagonist has more presence in the film than the protagonist. But eventually the film releases, they call it an Amitabh Bachchan film. Yes, when I raise my voice and say I’ve done almost equal if not more, that’s when people recognised and started taking my name because it’s such a male-dominated industry, they don’t even realise that I might have done more work actually. It was called Sir’s film, it won’t be called a female film regardless of the fact that I have more scenes, it will be called an Amitabh Bachchan film and the credit will go there,” Taapsee said on Neha Dhupia’s show, according to a report in pinkvilla.com
