I’m not pregnant: Bipasha
Mumbai– Actress Bipasha Basu on Wednesday denied she is pregnant.
Bipasha, who is married to actor Karan Singh Grover, responded to pregnancy speculation via Twitter.
“Amused yet again. I kept a bag on my lap while getting into my car and certain media people started my pregnancy speculation again. Guys, I am not pregnant. Kind of getting irritating. Stay calm. It will happen only when we want it,” Bipasha tweeted.
Bipasha and Karan, who starred together in the film “Alone” in 2015, tied the knot in 2016.
Kareena to be showstopper at Anamika Khanna’s LFW finale
Mumbai– Bollywood star Kareena Kapoor Khan will take to the ramp at the finale of the forthcoming Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Summer-Resort 2018 edition as showstopper in a creation by designer Anamika Khanna.
“Kareena Kapoor Khan, as the face of Lakme, will be our showstopper. We hope we have support from people who believe in what we do,” Khanna told IANS in an email interview from Mumbai.
The designer, known for her rich craftsmanship that blends Indian colours with global contours, is going to reinvent nude with her finale collection. Her contemporary designs will be interspersed with the diverse nude palette that Lakme will be introducing this season.
Kareena has added grandeur to LFW finales in the past. She dazzled the ramp when she was pregnant with her first child Taimur, and then she also did her first ramp walk at LFW after delivering Taimur.
The forthcoming edition of the fashion gala will be held from January 31 to February 4.
‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ gave us amazing memories: Katrina Kaif
Mumbai– Katrina Kaif, who reunited on-screen with Salman Khan after five years for “Tiger Zinda Hai” — which has turned out to be the actors’ highest ever grosser — says the film gave the entire team memories to cherish.
Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar and produced by Yash Raj Films, “Tiger Zinda Hai” crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.
Talking about it, Katrina said in a statement: “‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ has given all of us so many amazing memories to cherish. From it being Salman’s biggest hit, Ali’s biggest film, to it also becoming my highest ever grosser – we are extremely happy as a team that the film has done so well.”
In the movie, Katrina played super-spy Zoya, a role for which she trained in mixed martial arts and pulled off some daring stunts.
“The entire team had pushed themselves to make a quality film that entertains audiences and gives them a product that they have never seen before. I’m glad the film is getting incredible love from audiences that it totally deserves,” she added.
Ilaiyaraaja sings for ‘Maari 2’
Chennai– Actor-filmmaker-singer Dhanush says he is thrilled that music-composer Ilaiyaraaja sang a song for the upcoming film “Maari 2”.
Dhanush on Tuesday night shared a string of photographs of himself along with maestro from the music studio.
“So happy to announce that the maestro Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja sang a song for ‘Maari 2’. What a delightful divine experience. We feel so blessed and super thrilled,” Dhanush captioned the image.
Directed by Balaji Mohan, “Maari 2” also stars Sai Pallavi. The Tamil action-comedy film marks Balaji’s second collaboration with Dhanush after “Maari”.
In “Maari”, Dhanush played a dhoti-clad, moustache-twirling local rowdy and he was paired with Kajal Aggarwal.
Actors Robo Shankar and Vinod, who played Dhanush’s sidekicks in the first part, will be part of “Maari 2”. Malayalam actor Tovino Thomas has been signed to play the antagonist. (IANS)
