Bipasha supports Bigg Boss housemate Arti Singh on mental health stance
Mumbai– Bollywood actress Bipasha Basu Grover supports actress and Bigg Boss 13 contestant Arti Singh, who has been trolled on social media after talking about mental health openly on the reality TV show.
Singh put out a post on the social media platform Instagram, urging people to talk about mental health issues rather than troll the sufferer. Commenting on the post, Bipasha wrote: “It’s sad that in our country so many educated people have a lack of awareness on mental health. You can’t stop living your life if you have some issues. You need to be brave and face them and that is exactly what Arti Singh is doing. Anyone in the house or outside who is making a joke or mockery out of this is insensitive. In today’s day and age, this topic cannot be taboo.”
“Support is what people need to overcome this. Finally, it’s one’s own battle. Please, we should be human and kind to all,” added the actress, who was last seen in the movie ‘Alone’ in 2015.

Mumbai– Actress Bhumi Pednekar, who is currently promoting her upcoming film “Pati, Patni Aur Woh”, has come up with an exciting social media campaign titled “Vedikas Loveline” to promote her film, by connecting with the ‘patis’ and ‘patnis’ across India.
“Vedika’s Loveline is a fun social media campaign that I’m kickstarting to connect with all the ‘patis and patnis’. I will look to sort out the unique, quirky and funny issues that they face in everyday life with their other halves,” Bhumi said.
Bhumi, who plays the ‘patni’ Vedika in the film, will address the quirky issues faced by husbands and wives and also look at giving them hilarious solutions to their funny issues.
“Having played a ‘patni’ in ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh’, I do have some fun tips and solutions to share to all the husbands and wives and I will be looking to interact with them on the same. I believe our conversations will be hilarious and through this idea we will be able to reach out to an incremental set of audiences for the marketing of our film,” he said.
Gautam Gulati has a ‘working birthday’
Mumbai– Actor Gautam Gulati, who will be seen in the Salman Khan starrer “Radhe”, celebrated his birthday on the film’s set.
“I have been focusing tremendously on my work, hence I always knew it will be a working birthday for me this time around. There’s a different fun in having a working birthday, as you return home with a lot of contentment,” Gautam said.
Gautam said he decided to keep his birthday a low-key affair since he was working.
“I feel blessed to spend some time with Salman Khan sir on the set. Interacting with him is always special and every time that happens, it feels like birthday. I couldn’t have asked for a better birthday,” he added.
Salman will be seen playing a cop again in “Radhe”, which is being directed by Prabhudheva.
The film marks his return with director Prabhudheva after the 2009 film “Wanted”, which saw him play an undercover cop. Salman is also returning as inspector Chulbul Pandey in the upcoming film “Dabangg 3”.
“Radhe”, scheduled to hit the screens on Eid next year, is being produced by the superstar’s brother Sohail Khan.
Priyanka Chopra surprises Nick with a pup
New York– Actress Priyanka Chopra surprised her husband and pop star Nick Jonas with a German shepherd puppy as an early anniversary gift.
On Tuesday, Nick took to Instagram to post a video of the surprising moment, and to introduce the new member of their family — Gino the German.
In the video, Priyanka, 37, is seen waking up Nick saying “good morning” as she puts Gino on the bed.
“Who’s that?” she says to the pup as he excitedly paws at Nick. “What? What?” a confused Nick is seen saying in the video.
“Pri came home with the absolute best surprise this morning,” Nick wrote in an Instagram post as he introduced the pup.
He also posted the video and some photographs with him.
“Please meet our new pup @ginothegerman. I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realised what was going on,” Nick added.
“Ur face..hilarious,” Priyanka commented.
She also reposted the video on her own Instagram account, adding, “So much cute in the same frame. Happy almost anniversary baby.”
Priyanka also shared a photograph of her husband and the pup.
Parineeti makes a comeback on badminton court after injury
Mumbai– Actress Parineeti Chopra, who is playing the role of ace shuttler Saina Nehwal in the upcoming biopic titled “Saina”, has made a comeback on the badminton court after suffering a neck injury.
“Yes, this is accurate information. I’m a 100 per cent fit now and I can’t wait to step into the badminton court and play the game again! I thank my entire ‘Saina’ team for their invaluable support and my medical team for making me heal so quickly and getting me back on court,” Parineeti said.
She will make a comeback on the badminton court on Wednesday as she shoots a portion that will need her to play the sport for eight long hours.
Parineeti added: “I’m feeling very positive to pull off the intense shooting schedule that lies ahead of me because it will involve me playing badminton for 8-10 hours at a stretch. So, I’m glad I’m back to full fitness.”
A source close to the development said: “Pari is feeling 100 per cent fit and she was wanting to get back to playing. She is thrilled that she is healed quickly and can play the game for camera.
“Parineeti had a major spasm in her neck and spine area and the doctor had advised her not to play badminton for a week — 10 days. The entire team of Saina team has been extremely supportive through her healing process and Pari is ready to give it her all again.” (IANS)
