‘Madly obsessed’ Ananya Panday drops picture of her ‘baby jaan’ Riot

Mumbai– Actress Ananya Panday on Wednesday introduced the world to her new furry friend — her pet dog ‘Riot’, calling it the ‘cutest little boy’.

The ‘Gehraiyaan’ actress took to Instagram and shared a series of pictures of the dog, leaving the fans in awe of its cuteness.

The first snap shows Ananya holding the little dog in her arms, while she smiles for the lens. There are some pictures of the dog playing with the toys in Ananya’s house.

The last picture features the dog sleeping next to Ananya, under a blanket.

The post was captioned: “Guys, say hello to my baby jaan – ‘RIOT’… he is the cutest little boy in the whole wide world and I’m madly obsessed. PS. This is gonna become a RIOT fan page.”

Ananya’s bestie Shanaya Kapoor commented: “I’m a Massi”. Malaika Arora wrote: “adorable”. Maheep Kapoor said: “too cute”.

Meanwhile, she was last seen in the movie ‘Kho Gaye Hum Kahan’, directed by Arjun Varain Singh, written by Arjun, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti and produced by Ritesh Sidhwani, Akhtar, Kagti, and Farhan Akhtar under the banners of Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films.

It also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.

Tara Sutaria drops ‘Instagram vs reality’ video, treats fans to scintillating photoshoot

Mumbai– Actress Tara Sutaria treated her massive fandom to a scintillating ‘Instagram vs reality’ video, giving a peek into her sizzling hot photoshoots and what she actually does behind the scenes (BTS).

Taking to Instagram, the ‘Student of the Year 2’ fame actress who enjoys 8.6 million followers shared a Reel video, in which she can be seen posing in a transparent black outfit for a photoshoot.

The montage video further shows a BTS of another photoshoot in which Tara is wearing a white tube top and blue denim.

The video ends with Tara making a rose in an ice cream cup.

It was captioned: “What you see on Instagram Vs reality – a smol pup who makes ice cream flowers and sounds like a two year old … ” A rose for the lady? ” @piasutaria.”

On the work front, Tara was last seen in the 2023 survival thriller ‘Apurva’. The film also stars Rajpal Yadav and Abhishek Banerjee.

Jasmine Bhasin enjoys a swing at a Mauritius beach, describes it as paradise

Mumbai– Actress Jasmine Bhasin on Wednesday shared a glimpse of a beach in Mauritius, calling it ‘paradise’, and saying that she didn’t want to leave the island.

Jasmine, who participated in ‘Bigg Boss 14’, was on a holiday with her boyfriend Aly Goni.

Taking to Instagram, Jasmine dropped a new Reel video from her adventurous vacation, in which she can be seen wearing a knee-length breezy red dress, which she paired with slippers.

The visuals show Jasmine running on the white sand towards the mesmerising beach. The video also features her enjoying a swing on the beach.

Mumbai– Actress Amyra Dastur, on Wednesday, treated fans to some mesmerising pictures of herself in a golden shimmery saree, and shared how she is “winging” her life, eyeliner and everything!

Amyra, who is known for her work in ‘Judgementall Hai Kya’, ‘Kaalakaandi’, ‘Jogi’, etc, took to Instagram and shared a string of photos, in which she can be seen wearing a golden-coloured saree.

She paired the shimmery saree with a matching tube blouse, which has heavy embellishments on it.

For the makeup, she opted for peach brown lips, winged eyeliner and brown eyeshadow. She has kept her hair open, and accessorised it with silver pearl earrings.

Kareena wishes ‘Saba dearest’ on her 48th b’day, shares throwback pics

Mumbai– Kareena Kapoor Khan, on Wednesday, showered love on her sister-in-law Saba Ali Khan on her 48th birthday, and dropped some unseen throwback pictures.

The actress took to Instagram Stories and shared two throwback photos with the birthday girl. Kareena’s husband and actor Saif Ali Khan also features in one of the photographs.

Kareena penned a birthday note as well: “Happy birthday Saba dearest…love you…God bless always.”

Daughter of cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and actress Sharmila Tagore, Saba, who is a jewelry designer, is the younger sister of Saif.

On the work front, Kareena was recently seen in ‘Crew’, a heist comedy film directed by Rajesh A. Krishnan. The film stars Tabu, and Kriti Sanon in the lead alongside Kareena. Diljit Dosanjh and Kapil Sharma play pivotal roles.

Alaya would do grandad Kabir Bedi’s ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’ remake if not made in a ‘gimmicky way’

Mumbai– Actress Alaya F. has shown interest in starring in a period drama and even spoke about what would it take for her to feature in a remake of Kabir Bedi and Rekha-starrer ‘Khoon Bhari Maang.’

Talking to IANS about the 1988 film ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’, Alaya said: “If people think it’s right then sure, and if they don’t do it in a gimmicky way. I feel like when these gimmicky things happen, then I am not, like … ‘just because gimmicky association’ then they do it.”

“If I am genuinely correct for the part and they feel like I am able to add value to the project then yeah, sure,” she added.

Considered a cult classic, ‘Khoon Bhari Maang’, which was directed by Rakesh Roshan, revolves around the story of Rekha, who almost gets killed over her wealth by her second husband played by Kabir Bedi.

In the action thriller, she sets out to seek revenge after changing from her simple avatar to a glamorous one.

Ever since her debut in 2020 with ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’, Alaya has featured in several genres of films including psychological thriller, supernatural thriller and an action thriller.

However, she is keen to do a period drama.

“I really want to do it like a period film. Where I can wear all that royal attire and feel all of that. That’s something I want to do,” said Alaya, who is the daughter of actress Pooja Bedi.

She added: “I also think that it will be something new for me to sort of put my feet into; and actually in my acting class I have trained a lot of that, I have done a lot of those scenes. So, it will be fun to put that to use because it is totally different from anything I have done before.”

Nimrat Kaur shares glimpses of ‘Bandra mornings’, wishes ‘Happy May Day’

Mumbai– Nimrat Kaur, on Wednesday, gave a peek into her “Bandra mornings,” and wished everyone on the occasion of May Day.

The actress, who was last seen in ‘Sajini Shinde Ka Viral Video’ took to Instagram Stories and shared a string of pictures from her morning walk.

The first snap shows some cats sitting on the roadside. It is captioned: “Bandra mornings….”

Huma Qureshi reveals what perks her up even when she is ‘sleep deprived’

Mumbai– Actress Huma Qureshi, who is currently busy shooting for her next project ‘Gulabi’, shared what perks her up even when she is sleep-deprived.

The ‘Maharani’ star took to her Instagram stories, where she shared a video of her stepping into a bookstore. The actress seems to be at the airport when she spots her maiden novel ‘Zeba: An Accidental Superhero’ kept in the “highlight” section in the bookstore.

She captioned it: “No matter how sleep deprived…..This always perks me up.”

Huma also shared a glimpse from the shoot of her upcoming film ‘Gulabi’, where she will be essaying the role of an auto-rickshaw driver. The shoot was taking place in a desert region. A glimpse also showed camels in the distance.

“Aaj ka office #Gulabi,” the actress wrote as the caption.

Talking about ‘Gulabi’, which is directed by Vipul Mehta, is based on a true story. It tells the journey of a brave auto-rickshaw driver who inspired women to reclaim their destinies.

Huma’s debut novel ‘Zeba: An Accidental Superhero’ is themed around “magic, wonder and resilience”. In the story, the protagonist, Zeba, wears her hijab as a cape and turns into a relatable symbol of strength in the face of challenges. (IANS)
