Amitabh Bachchan reveals how he spends his day off from ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’
Mumbai– Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has shared how he spends his days off from the quiz-based reality show “Kaun Banega Crorepati.”
In a recent blog post, the cine icon wrote: “An off day from KBC and dedicated to the body in the gym and dedicated to them that know what should be done…”
The actor shared that he even finished some pending work.
“But before that some VO’s that had been pending for a while… some from the ad., films done, and some for a friend who has developed and given obeisance to the Divine… always a moment that one does unhesitantly,” said the thespian.
Big B also revealed that he is in the process of planning to show his latest release, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, to a select few. However, he did not disclose who would be viewing the film.
“We are in the process of planning to show to a few limited the film KALKI and I work towards it… but please do not take this as an invitation yet… the planning is in process… IN PROCESS… it may fructify it may not,” he said.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is an epic science fiction film featuring Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani.
It is the first instalment of the Kalki Cinematic Universe and draws inspiration from Hindu scriptures.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2898 AD, the film follows the journey of a group of people who strive to save the unborn child of lab subject SUM-80, named Kalki.

Mumbai– Actress Sonam Kapoor showered love on her husband and ‘greatest cheerleader’, Anand Ahuja, on Tuesday as he celebrated his 41st birthday and expressed how lucky she and their son Vayu are to have him as their ‘guiding light’.
Sonam, who has 35.1 million followers on Instagram, shared a series of unseen pictures with her ‘incredible’ husband, leaving fans in awe of their chemistry.
The photos include Sonam and Anand walking hand-in-hand on the streets of a foreign location, while the latter is enjoying quality time with their son Vayu, and several candid moments of happiness.

Karisma Kapoor calls ‘IBD 4’ contestant ‘Magical Swan’ for performance on ‘Hum Mile Na Mile’
Mumbai– Actress Karisma Kapoor has praised the performance of ‘India’s Best Dancer’ season 4 contestant Vaishnavi Shekhawat on the song ‘Hum Mile Na Mile’, calling her “magical as a swan.”
Paired with choreographer Bharat Ghare, Vaishnavi, who hails from Rajasthan and now resides in Bengaluru, presented a blend of modern contemporary and jazz-funk dance styles to the song ‘Hum Mile Na Mile’ from the film ‘Kisna’, leaving the judges stunned.
The song is from the 2005 period romantic drama ‘Kisna: The Warrior Poet’, written and directed by Subhash Ghai. It stars Vivek Oberoi, Antonia Bernath, and Isha Sharvani in the lead roles.
Karisma commented on Vaishnavi’s performance, saying, “Vaishnavi and Bharat, this was a beautiful performance. Vaishnavi, you are graceful, beautiful, and as magical as a swan.”
Judge Geeta Kapur said: “Vaishnavi, right from the start, I haven’t seen a more dignified dancer than you. There is beauty, dignity, and grace when you dance. It is so pure and pristine; these qualities are ingrained in you, don’t ever lose that.”
After Vaishnavi’s performance, the contestants and choreographers, including host Aniket Chauhan, indulged in a dance cypher, where they danced in the middle of the stage one after the other, showcasing their unique dance moves.
The show recently revealed its ‘Best Barah’, and this weekend’s ‘Grand Premiere’ episode is themed ‘Stage to Stardom’.
The show also features Terence Lewis as a judge.
Out of the ‘Top 12’ contestants, only the best six will have the opportunity to be seated in a special section week after week, where they will have to strive hard to maintain their leadership.

Huma Qureshi shares birthday celebration pics with ‘best family’
Mumbai– Actress Huma Qureshi, who recently turned 38, has shared a peek into her birthday celebrations with her ‘best family’, which includes her brother Saqib Saleem, and actor Rajkummar Rao and his wife Patralekhaa.
Huma celebrated her 38th birthday on July 28, and on Tuesday she shared celebratory birthday pictures on her Instagram account, where she has 8.3 million followers.
The selfies feature Huma in a black dress, Rajkummar in a blue T-shirt, Patralekhaa in a black tank top, and her brother Saqib.
The pictures also show actor Rachit Singh.
The actors are currently holidaying in Europe.

Mumbai– Mira Rajput Kapoor, wife of Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor, who is currently on a family vacation in Europe, on Tuesday, shared a video from Taylor Swift’s concert in Munich, Germany, which she attended with her daughter Misha.
Mira, who is an avid social media user with 4.8 million Instagram followers, posted a reel video showing her enjoying the concert.
She wore an orange top with matching trousers and a denim jacket, while her daughter sported a white abstract design co-ord set.

It was Sanjay Dutt who motivated David Dhawan to become a director
Mumbai– Director David Dhawan, who ruled the Bollywood in the ’90s, has revealed that it was Sanjay Dutt who motivated him to take up direction.
David Dhawan, an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) in Pune, went through many courses during his career.
Although he initially thought of becoming an actor, he enrolled in FTII for the film editing course.
However, it was during the editing of the film ‘Naam’ when Sanjay told him to explore possibilities as a director.
David, who appeared on the chat show ‘The Invincibles’, told show host Arbaaz Khan, “‘Naam’ has another very big thing in my life. I was editing ‘Naam’, the actor in the film ‘Naam’ was Sanjay Dutt, and Sanjay used to always be extremely friendly, he would come and watch the rushes and one day he said, ‘David yaar tu director Kyun nahi Banta?.'”
“I said, ‘Kaun banayega Mujhe director’ and he said ‘Ban Gaya tu, 3 days ago I signed a film and Tu usko Direct karega’, can you believe it?,” he added.
At this point in the episode, Arbaaz said, “Kya baat hai! Unbelievable but were you prepared for that when this happened? Were you already talking about it?”
David said, “No nothing.”
Arbaaz then said, “So Sanjay Dutt came as a blessing in disguise.”
