Not long back, she opened up before the media about her phase of depression. The website newstracklive.com reported her as saying that it took her years to understand that she was in depression. She recalled how she had no desire to do anything, the website reported.

The actress was last seen on the big screen in the 2019 thriller, “Bypass Road”. Shama, who gave a series of notable performances on television, was last seen on the small screen as the antagonist in the show, “Baal Veer”. This year, she appears in the music video “Majnu Mix”.

“The song is very relevant and modern and will be extremely fun. I loved just the idea of it, too. The tale we’re telling through this music video is magical. The concept of song and the music video were too enticing, for me to pass it up. The choreography and the steps are traditional and desi but has a modern touch too which overall fits beautifully in this story of eternal love. The team and I have been prepping and rehearsing to get every nuance right,” said Jacqueline.

She added: “I am super excited to be working with Asim Riaz for the first time. The music video is going to be a visual treat for everyone. We’re looking forward to everyone seeing it. I really loved working on this, because it was a passion project for me.”

Earlier, the actress and Asim took to Instagram Story and posted boomerang videos in which they can be seen doing dance rehearsals at a studio.

In the video, Jacqueline sports athleisure while Asim dons a yellow T-shirt.

“Here we go,” Asim captioned the video.

According to the reports, the song is a folk number composed by Tanishk Bagchi. It has been sung by Neha Kakkar.

Fans are going gaga after watching the videos.

The actress has come forward to lend her support to women, shamed for their peeking bra straps. She has come on board as the face of “Baar Bra Dekho”, an unique initiative by MTV to spread the word against strap shaming and normalise conversations around it.

“Awkward stares, nasty glances, unwanted touch – almost all of us have been subjected to such instances while travelling in public transport or otherwise. It baffles me to see how women are still made to feel judged for something like a bra-strap showing that should have been normalised long ago,” Radhika said.

“Clothes don’t define us and it’s simply a woman’s call on what she chooses to wear and how. I am glad to lend my voice to a thought provoking initiative like ‘Baar Bra Dekho’ that lets women give back and be at comfort. Let’s celebrate this Women’s Day differently and choose not to feel awkward for our bra straps showing. Straps don’t shame, so you shouldn’t also,” she added.

Taapsee: Book on my life incomplete without Anubhav Sinha

Taapsee on Thursday took to Instagram, where she shared a photograph of herself with Sinha, with whom she has worked in films like “Mulk” and the upcoming film “Thappad”.

She captioned the image: “That day and now I am the biggest fan of your love affair with words and lines. The proud witness of version 2.0, I really don’t know if I am a bigger fan of the writer/director or the human being he is!”

“He has spoilt his actors for delivering their best and being their best. Not just my filmography but the book of my life (if ever there is one) shall be incomplete without writing about you. (And since it’s writing, I shall send it to you only for doctoring) Yet another Friday for us and with full faith in the honesty with which we made our career’s best film, we shall soon get back to breaking our own record! Zindabad.” (IANS)
