Alia’s neon bikini shoot draws comparison with Sameera’s

Mumbai– Actress Alia Bhatt recently shared pictures of her underwater photoshoot on social media, and since then many netizens feel the pictures bear an uncanny similarity with Sameera Reddy’s underwater maternity shoot, which she did in July before giving birth to her second child.

In her photoshoot, Sameera had flaunted her baby bump in two sets of bikinis — one hot pink and the other neon green — all underwater at a hotel’s swimming pool. Sameera was lauded for breaking stereotypes and myths around pregnancy.

Alia’s photoshoot is for a magazine, and the actress can be seen posing underwater in hot pink and neon green outfits, and many netizens can’t get over the likeness between the two shoots.

Reacting to the comparisons, Sameera said: “It’s silly to draw comparisons between me and Alia. It’s was not easy for me shooting nine months pregnant and that too underwater. It was a challenging project for and I take this news as a compliment because I think Alia really pulled it off in style.”

Sameera and her husband Akshai Varde welcomed their daughter Nyra in July. She got married to businessman Akshai in 2014. She gave birth to her first born, Hans in 2015.

Mumbai– Actress Yami Gautam, who is being lauded for her role of a TikTok star in the just-released “Bala”, says the film has tested her abilities as an artiste.

“It’s really been years in the making for me. The reason I say this is that as actors we constantly thrive to do parts that are wholesome. I have been through the highs and lows and I loved every part I have played, but I have truly sunk into the world of Pari and that has been such an amazing thing for me. Some roles push you, test your abilities and makes you put your best food forward, and Pari was that part for me. To have this love come my way with such abundance is truly emotionally gratifying and I’m humbled with all this appreciation,” she said.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, “Bala”, which revolves around a man who is balding prematurely and how he deals with it, feartures Ayushmann Khurrana in the titular role.

Actress Bhumi Pednekar also plays a pivotal role in the film.

Nick Jonas planning anniversary surprise for wife Priyanka

Los Angeles– Singer-actor Nick Jonas says he is working on something extra special to mark his first wedding anniversary with actress Priyanka Chopra.

“Well, I don’t wanna say what we’re doing to celebrate because it’s a surprise for her, and she might be watching. And if she is, then I wouldn’t want the surprise to be spoiled,” etonline.com quoted Nick as saying.

“We will be taking a few days away from the tour to have some time. It’s been a crazy year. It’s flown by, it’s hard to believe it. John Varvatos was at our wedding, so he was there to be with us and it was a great couple days celebration. This year’s been, for she and I both, probably the craziest of our lives, but kind of nice to have that centering grounding feeling with each other,” he added.

Nick said that it didn’t take long to adjust to married life.

“I think we settled into our roles as husband and wife fairly quickly. A lot of our friends always said that it seemed like we were supposed to be together, so it feels natural. There are natural adjustments when your life is becoming one together, but it’s been a beautiful year. Hopefully next year we have a bit more time to be in the same place, but being busy is not bad either,” he shared.

Nick and Priyanka don’t have a rule of how long they will go without seeing each other, but he said that communication is key in their successful relationship.

“The good news is that we both really enjoy talking to each other, which I think is probably pretty important if you married somebody. There aren’t as many rules for, like, how long we can go and things like that. I think we just — we’d always just do the best we can and understand first and foremost we love what we do as well and support each other as well,” he said.

Bhuvan Bam’s ‘Ajnabee’ climbs to #1 on India’s iTunes chart

Mumbai– Social media sensation Bhuvan Bam released his new single “Ajnabee” on Friday, the song climbed to number one spot on India’s iTunes music chart within two hours of release.

“Ajnabee” is Bhuvan’s sixth single. He has written, composed and sung the song.

“I can’t believe the song went straight to number one!” said an excited Bhuvan, adding: “It’s so exciting and overwhelming, I’m grateful. Music is my passion and I’m always humming tunes on the go, in breaks and while working.”

“It’s one of my favourite tunes I’ve come up with, and I’m really excited for everyone to hear it,” said Bhuvan, who recently became the first Indian to sing the Nation Anthem at the debut NBA games in the country.
