Alia Bhatt starts ‘new, fun’ YouTube channel

Mumbai– Alia Bhatt has started a new Youtube channel which will give her fans a peek into the actress’ personal and professional life.

The “Gully Boy” actress, who is currently shooting for “Brahmastra”, took to Twitter on Wednesday to announce her new venture.

“Something new, something fun, something on YouTube,” she wrote alongside a video link.

In the video, Alia says: “So, I am here today because I am launching my YouTube channel… I have done the Instagram and Twitter world and now I am trying to get onto the YouTube world.”

The “2 States” actress said the channel is a step to bring herself closer to her fans.

“What you will get to see on my channel is a lot of me just being totally unadulterated, what goes behind the scenes. More like in front of life… good, bad and funny days. Hectic, interesting and simple days.

“As a person I have been super expressive. Somewhere I have become more little bit private after becoming an actor… If you like the idea, then you have to like share and subscribe to the channel and then we will see how it goes.”

Alia’s YouTube channel currently has more than 16,000 views and over 2,000 likes.

Disha Patani does perfect cartwheel with one hand

Mumbai– Actress Disha Patani, who is popular for her love for fitness, impressed many fans with a perfect cartwheel.

Patani took to Twitter on Tuesday to share a video clip in which she was seen performing a one-hand cartwheel. She captioned it: “Training after ages with my trainer…”

Earlier this week, it was reported that Patani, who was seen doing flips and hoops in Salman Khan-starrer “Bharat”, got injured on the sets of her upcoming film “Malang”.

“Malang”, a romantic action thriller, is directed by Mohit Suri.

It stars veteran Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur and Kunal Kemmu and will release next year.

Most of the shooting in March is concentrated in Mauritius and Goa. The film is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, Luv Ranjan Films and Northern Lights Entertainment’s Jay Shewakraman.

Deepika makes witty remark to cameraman

Mumbai– Actress Deepika Padukone said “Aaja, baith ja (Come, sit)” to a cameraman who was too close to her car while trying to click her as she came out of the airport here.

Deepika was flashed a smile for the shutterbugs as she came out wearing blingy pants.

When she saw a paparazzo come close to her car, she wittily said: “Aaja, baith ja.”

The video went viral on the Internet with fans going gaga over her funny side.

“Finally someone accepts that she is funny…her humour is underrated,” wrote one fan.

Some fans commented that Deepika is getting influenced by her husband Ranveer Singh.

“Ranveer Singh ka assar hai,” wrote one fan, while another wrote: “Ranveer Singh, OMG, she is becoming you.”

Mumbai– Actor Saif Ali Khan says his ancestral home Pataudi Palace holds a lot of emotional value for him.

Saif’s brand House of Pataudi has come out with its latest collection inspired by the Pataudi Palace. He co-owns the brand with Myntra and Exceed Entertainment.

“The palace is an architectural marvel for many, but for me its home and holds a lot of emotional value,” Saif said in a statement.

“It is interesting for me to see a collection inspired by the hues of the palace gardens. The floral patterns and designs used in the collection intertwine with elements of the nature that surround Pataudi Palace,” he added.

The Summer Palace Collection brings alive the ornate beauty and grandeur of the palace. It comprises everyday Indian wear conceptualised as Firdaus, festive with royal charm, Noor and Riwayat for classic Indian weddings.

Katrina can walk through hell and remain an angel: Farah

Mumbai– Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan, who is choreographing “Tip tip barsa paani” for “Sooryavanshi”, has praised Katrina Kaif, saying the actress can walk through hell and still remain an angel.

Farah on Wednesday shared a behind-the-scene photograph from the shoot of the song’s remake for the film.

“Shooting with my darling Katrina Kaif. Her true beauty lies under the make-up. She can walk through hell and still remain an angel. I love her and more importantly I admire her,” Farah captioned the image.

The film stars Akshay Kumar.

“Tip tip barsa paani”, an iconic Hindi song from the 1994 film “Mohra”, was picturised on Akshay and Raveena Tandon.

“Sooryavanshi” is the fourth film of Rohit Shetty’s cop drama universe in which Akshay is essaying the role of Veer Suryavanshi, a character that was introduced as an anti-terrorist squad officer in the Ranveer Singh-starrer 2018 film “Simmba”.

“Sooryavanshi”, which is scheduled to hit the screens on March 27, 2020.

Arjun Kapoor turns 34, friends & family send out wishes

Mumbai– On Arjun Kapoor’s 34th birthday on Wednesday, her family members Anshula Kapoor, Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor, and film fraternity friends Ayushmann Khurrana and Kubbra Sait, wished him love and success.

The actor, who left for a birthday getaway with Malaika Arora two days before the special day, is son of film producer Boney Kapoor.

Arjun worked as assistant director and associate producer in several films, including the 2003 drama “Kal Ho Naa Ho” and “Wanted”. He made his Bollywood debut with “Ishaqzaade” in 2012.

He was later seen in films such as “Gunday”, “2 States”, “Ki & Ka”, “Finding Fanny”, “Aurangzeb” and “India’s Most Wanted”. He is currently prepping for his next film “Panipat”, a historical drama.

On his birthday, his sister Anshula posted his childhood picture, and wrote: “I don’t really understand what this pose is, but I do know that there’s no one else I would rather be my weird self with.”

Soni shares throwback image, fans compare her to Alia

Mumbai– Veteran actress Soni Razdan shared a throwback photograph of herself from her younger days, leaving fans amazed by her uncanny resemblance to her daughter Alia Bhatt.

Razdan posted a black and white image of herself on Instagram on Tuesday and captioned: “When I was 21. Sigh youth, when we were young. Those were the days.”

It drew several comments from fans who pointed out her resemblance to her daughter, Alia.

“Alia is your carbon copy,” wrote one user, while another commented: “Alia is just a replica of yours. Very pretty.”

One user wrote: “Like mom, like daughter.”

The mother and daughter have worked together in “Raazi”.

Bhatt is currently shooting for Ayan Mukerji-directorial “Brahmastra”. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan.

#Sistergoals: Janhvi puts make-up on Khushi

Mumbai– Actress Janhvi Kapoor turned make-up artist for her younger sister Khushi, making her look like a doll.

Janhvi on Tuesday evening posted a string of videos on her Instagram stories. In one video, the “Dhadak” actress says she did the eye make-up for Khushi.

In another clip, Janhvi asks Khushi to show off her eye make-up, and an image shows Khushi flaunting her glittery eyes.

Janhvi has started shooting for her upcoming next “RoohiAfza”, a horror comedy along with Rajkummar Rao and Varun Sharma. The film, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Mrighdeep Singh Lamba and directed by debutant Hardik Mehta, also stars Varun Sharma.
