Akshay in legal soup over his latest commercial

Mumbai– National Award-winning actor Akshay Kumar has landed in a legal soup because of his latest washing powder commercial in which he portrays a Maratha warrior.

The “PadMan” actor has been blamed for huting the Maratha sentiments. In the ad, the actor returned to his kingdom after defeating the enemies. When one of his soldier’s wife taunts the army for his dirty clothes.

The actor says if his army can win battles, it can also wash clothes. It then shows the actor dancing while washing clothes. However, the commercial has not gone down well with a section of people.

According to timesofindia.indiatimes.com, a police complaint has been filed at Worli police station in Mumbai against him for mocking the Marathi culture and hurting the sentiments.

Akshay is yet to respond.

Salman gifts Kichcha Sudeep a luxury car post ‘Dabangg 3’

Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Salman Khan gifted his “Dabangg 3” co-star Kichcha Sudeep a luxury car, that costs over Rs 1 crore, after the success of the film.

According to reports, Salman gifted a Rs 1.54-crore BMW car to actor Sudeep who played the villain in the third installment of the “Dabangg” franchise.

Sudeep took to Instagram and shared photographs of the new car along with Salman and said it was an honour to work with the “Bharat” star.

He captioned the image: “Good always happens when you do good. @beingsalmankhan sir made me believe this line further when this surprise landed at home along with him.

BMW M5… A sweetest gesture. Thank you for the love you have showered on me and my family sir. It was an honour to have worked with you and to have had you visit us.”

“Dabangg 3” is directed by Prabhudheva. It also stars Sonakshi Sinha and Saiee Manjrekar.

Nehha Pendse stuns in green gown

Mumbai– Actress and “Bigg Boss 12” contestant Nehha Pendse looked ethereal in a forest green gown, which she wore on her engagement. It took 2,208 hours to create the gown.

The actress got married to Shardul Singh Bayas on January 5 in Pune. She wore a Nauvari sari for her wedding.

For her engagement, Nehha wore an elegant gown, custom-made KALKI Fashion fit & flare gown.

According to the designer, the gown showcases seven kinds of embroideries and took a total of 2208 hours to create. It boasts green crystals that add to its gleam.

With intricate handiwork, the gown has multiple layers of threadwork and self-embroideries accomplished by hand. It all comes together with hand-embroidered blooms and French knots created out of sheer accents for the gown. Super long wings add to the whole appeal.

Nehha finished her engagement look with danglers, keeping her hair down sideways. Her make-up was subtle, with a dash of bronzer and a nude lipstick.

Amruta Khanvilkar shines bright in yellow

Mumbai– Actress Amruta Khanvilkar made a bright fashionable statement by opting for a yellow blazer dress for her recent outing.

The actress slipped into a yellow ensemble with a deep plunging neckline for the trailer launch of her upcoming movie “Malang” here. She looked smart and confident, while channelling a formal yet comfortable vibe.

She paired her outfit with grey striped heels, which took her attire to a whole new level, and kept her hair open. She looked stunning as she posed with “Malang” co-stars Disha Patani and Elli AvrRam.

Directed by Mohit Suri, “Malang” also features Kunal Kemmu. It is co-produced by Bhushan Kumar of T-Series, Luv Ranjan Films and Northern Lights Entertainment’s Jay Shewakraman and will release on February 14.

Amruta is known for playing the simple and demure Munira in “Raazi”, a serial killer Lovina in web series “Damaged” and a happy-go-lucky girl in the John Abraham-starrer “Satyamev Jayate”. She has also done shows such as “Time Bomb 9/11” and “24” as well as some reality shows.

Tanushree Dutta compares Nana Patekar to Asaram Bapu

Mumbai– Actress Tanushree Dutta has compared Nana Patekar to self-proclaimed saint Asaram Bapu, who was found guilty of raping a minor girl in year 2018. She also slammed celebrities of Bollywood for continuing to work with choreographer Ganesh Acharya, who is also an accused in her case.

Tanushree was interacting with the media along with her lawyer Nitin Satpute in Mumbai.

She filed a protest petition against the B-summary report filed by the Mumbai Police in connection with her complaint against actor Nana Patekar.

The Oshiwara police, however, had filed a B-Summary report seeking closure of the case on grounds that no evidence to support her claims had come to light in their investigation.

In October 2018, Tanushree had filed a complaint following which the Oshiwara police registered an FIR against Nana Patekar, accusing him of sexually harassing her on the sets of the movie “Horn Ok Pleassss”.

The complaint also named director Rakesh Sarang, producer Samee Siddiqui and choreographer Ganesh Acharya of the film, as co-accused in the case.

Tanushree said: aceIf you have money, you will get justice and respect but if you dona¿t have money then you will not get that. He has money and he got that money from Naam Foundation. It collects crores of rupees from corporate sectors for the upliftment of poor farmers. He has created his image as a poor man who lives in a small house. It’s a big lie and he is doing all this for show.” (IANS)
