Akshay recalls how Radhikka Madan attended classes to learn to speak Marathi for ‘Sarfira’
Mumbai– Actor Akshay Kumar has praised his ‘Sarfira’ co-star Radhikka Madan for pushing the envelope to portray a Maharashtrian girl in the upcoming film.
In ‘Sarfira’, Radhikka plays Rani, a spirited and resilient Maharashtrian girl who faces numerous challenges with unwavering determination. She adopted the nuances of Marathi culture, adding depth and authenticity to her portrayal, according to a statement.
Akshay praised Radhikka’s performance and said: “This is the best performance I have ever seen. I don’t know what you all think about her. She is not Maharashtrian, but she has acted like one. She is very well-spoken.”
“Her language was very good, and she has gone through whole classes to learn how to speak Marathi and what to say. That is what she has done.”
On July 4, the makers of the film released the song ‘Chaawat’, which showcases a traditional Maharashtrian wedding.
Penned by Manoj Muntashir Shukla, the lyrics of ‘Chaawat’ are composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar. It is sung by Shreya Ghoshal.
‘Sarfira’ traces the journey of Veer Mhatre, whose main goal is to introduce low-cost aviation carriers. It is inspired by the life of G. R. Gopinath, the founder of the Indian low-cost airline Simplifly Deccan.
‘Sarfira’ is a remake of the Tamil hit film ‘Soorarai Pottru’ starring Suriya.
The film is set to release on July 12.
Diljit Dosanjh shares ‘hilarious’ simple tips to cleanse your aura
Mumbai– Punjabi sensation Diljit Dosanjh has shared simple tips for cleansing the aura, which include mountains and his latest film ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’.
Diljit took to Instagram and shared a reel.
In the clip, he is seen hiking on a mountain, posing in front of a waterfall, and even drinking from a river.
However, it’s the entertaining voiceover that stands out.
The clip begins with a soothing voiceover by Diljit, saying, “Apne kabhi mehsoos kiya hai ke duniya main kaam karte huye logo se milte huye na chahate huye bhi bahut saare thoughts hum apne saath lele te hai jo shayad humaare nahi the jinka humaare zindagi main koi arth nahi tha aur fir woh humain pareshaan karte hai (Have you ever felt that while meeting people, we unintentionally carry many thoughts with us that perhaps weren’t ours and didn’t mean anything in our lives, yet they bother us).”
He suggests that if these unwanted thoughts bog one down, then going to the mountains can help.
The actor-singer then said that once going to the mountains, one can rediscover their inner child. He calmly advises recalling small moments of happiness and being thankful to God.
In a humorous tone, he adds, “Metvarse ke chakkar main jisko experience karne aaye the kahin woh na reh jaaye… Chinta na karein agar pahaad dur padh rahe hain toh ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ dekhkar aaye saari zindagi ka maksad mil jayega. Aankhein khul jaayegi over (If, in the pursuit of experiencing something new, you end up losing yourself… Don’t worry, if the mountains are far away, watch ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ and you’ll find the purpose of life).”
He captioned the video: “Simple way to cleanse your aura.”
Directed by Jagdeep Sidhu, ‘Jatt & Juliet 3’ also stars Neeru Bajwa.

Mumbai– ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ host Anil Kapoor told actor Vicky Kaushal that his wife, actress Katrina Kaif, is fortunate to have him as a husband.
Vicky appeared on ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ during the Weekend Ka Vaar episode along with co-star Ammy Virk.
The two visited the controversial reality show to promote their upcoming film, ‘Bad Newz’.
During the episode, Anil complimented Vicky, saying, “I have worked with Katrina Kaif. She’s a brilliant and hard-working actor. You guys make (a) lovely pair, and she’s fortunate to have you as her husband.”
Anil has previously worked with Katrina in films such as ‘Welcome’, ‘Race’, and ‘Humko Deewana Kar Gaye’, to name a few.
‘Bad Newz’, which is directed by Anand Tiwari, is a comedy-drama that also stars Neha Dhupia and Triptii Dimri. It traces the story of two Punjabi boys and a Christian Hindu girl. One of the boys has a one-night stand with the girl, who ends up getting pregnant.
The latest episode of ‘Bigg Boss OTT 3’ saw a shift in dynamics between the housemates, as during this week’s nomination task, contestants had to save others from eviction instead of putting them in the danger zone.
After the task, there was a verbal altercation between Shivani Kumari and Chandrika Dixit Gera. Shivani later fell ill amid the fight and complained of dizziness.

Mumbai– Actor Ali Fazal, who plays the role of Guddu Pandit in the hit streaming series ‘Mirzapur’, has spoken about the transformation of his character.
The actor said that his character, Guddu, has now become a more strategic and mature leader, and his ability to think fast gives him an edge over his opponents.
“Over the past two seasons, Guddu Pandit has undergone a remarkable transformation. Guddu has evolved into a more strategic and mature leader, using his intellect as much as his brawn. His ability to think on his feet and adapt to changing situations has become his defining trait this season,” Ali shared.
The actor also spoke about the action sequences in the third season, highlighting the introduction of hand-to-hand combat scenes.
