Esha Deol reveals first look of short film

“On the auspicious occasion of Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, Cheti Chand and Navratri, I am happy to reveal the first look of my short Hindi feature ‘Cakewalk’. Esha’s mother and actress-politician Hema Malini also tweeted on Saturday about the performance: “Both Esha and Ahaana (Hema Malini’s younger daughter) were scheduled to dance with me as it is a significant theme where I hand over the baton to the next gen – but only Esha performed. Ahaana was indisposed. Anyway it was a big success and Esha performed like a dream! She’s a natural.”

Mumbai–National Award-winning actor Rajkummar Rao doesn’t see acting as a competition. He says it is a personal journey.

Rajkummar’s “personal journey” in showbiz started in 2010 when he featured in the film “Rann”. But it was after starring in the 2013 film “Kai Po Che!”, based on three friends, that he achieved fame.

“For me, acting is not a competition. It’s a very personal journey. My only competition is with the man in the mirror and to grow as an artiste with every film,” Rajkummar tweeted on Sunday along with his image in which he is all suited up and looking at himself in a mirror.

He even gave image courtesy to his girlfriend and actress Patralekhaa, with whom he acted in “CityLights” — a film by Hansal Mehta.

Rajkummar is currently being showered with appreciation for his work in “Omerta” by Mehta. The film’s trailer was unveiled earlier this week. It is based on British-Pakistani terrorist Omar Saeed Sheikh.

Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma ‘tired’ of Sunil Grover spreading rumours

Mumbai–Popular comedian Kapil Sharma has accused his former “The Kapil Sharma Show” co-star Sunil Grover of lying about not calling him for his upcoming show.

Kapil is returning to the small screen with his new show “Family Time With Kapil Sharma”.

A fan asked Sunil about working with Kapil again after doing shows like “Comedy Nights with Kapil” and “The Kapil Sharma Show”.

Sunil tweeted: “There are more people who asked me the same question. But I didn’t get a call for this show (‘Family Time With Kapil Sharma’). My phone number is the same.”

“I waited, but now I have signed something else.”

On Sunday, Kapil, who had a mid-air fight with Sunil last year, decided to keep “nothing personal” and reply back to Sunil in a series of tweets.

“Paji (Sunil) I called you more than 100 times and went to your house to meet you twice. Every time you were out for some show. Please don’t spread rumours that I didn’t call you,” Kapil tweeted.

“He is lying. I called him 100 times and sent my people to his home. Even I went to his home to meet him for the show but now I will not let anybody take advantage on my name. Enough is enough,” he further wrote.

“I know the people who are working behind you. Trust me, you will get nothing. Take care.”

A Twitter user showed support to Kapil.

After which Kapil wrote: “Yes, I love him but sometimes it hurts a lot when you do a lot of hard work for somebody and he just wants fame in your name.”

“I don’t want his support but at least he should not spread rumours. I am tired of all this.”
