Yami Gautam, Aditya Dhar mark three years of marital bliss, share unseen pictures

Mumbai– Actress Yami Gautam and filmmaker Aditya Dhar on Tuesday celebrated three years of their marital bliss, by sharing unseen pictures, and showered love on each other.

Taking to Instagram, Yami shared an unseen picture from the promotion of her recently released political action thriller ‘Article 370’.

In the snap, the actress can be seen wearing a pink floral dress, flaunting her baby bump. Aditya is sitting next to her and smiling ear to ear.

The post is captioned: “Happiest 3…And quite literally now… (baby emoji) #Happyanniversarytous.”

The director of ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ also took to his Instagram and shared a series of photos, with a solo picture of Yami.

Another snap shows the lovebirds standing amid the picturesque backdrop of mountains.

The last click shows the duo posing in the premises of the National School of Drama.

Aditya penned a sweet note, which read: “Dearest Yami, You were, are, and always will be the most beautiful woman in the world for me! Happy anniversary my Love!”

Yami commented on her hubby’s post and wrote: “Lucky girl…. I love you.”

Yami and Aditya tied the nuptial knot in June 2021. On May 20, they announced the arrival of their baby son Vedavid. Their child was born on the auspicious day of Akshay Tritya.

On the work front, Yami has ‘Dhoom Dhaam’ in the pipeline. The actress was last seen in her husband’s production movie ‘Article 370’. She has also earlier starred in Adtiya’s directorial ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’.

Sonakshi on heat wave: Unchecked human activity has led to irreversible damage

Mumbai– Actress Sonakshi Sinha said that intense heat waves across the nation are the direct consequence of human activity, and the damage cannot be reversed.

The ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ actress said that now is the time to act to reverse the change by prioritising education and raising awareness.

Sonakshi told IANS: “The recent heat wave and abrupt temperature spike serve as a stark reminder that global warming is undeniably real. In fact, we are experiencing what can only be described as global heating. This dire state of our planet is a consequence of human activity, and while the situation is severe, I believe it’s not too late to make a positive change and protect our environment.”

India is currently witnessing a surge in temperature in the majority of its parts. While the monsoon arrived in Kerala, it’s yet to provide respite in other parts of the country, especially the north, where the mercury is touching 52 degrees Celsius.

The actress further mentioned that although we may not be able to reverse the damage entirely, we can certainly work to mitigate its effects.

“We must prioritise education and awareness about climate change among both children and adults.”

The actress also shared tips on how to battle the intense heat, as she told IANS: “Additionally, it’s crucial to take care of ourselves during extreme heat. I stay hydrated and seek shade whenever possible, and I urge everyone to do the same.”

“Let’s take responsibility for our well-being, support each other, and commit to preserving our planet,” she added.

Apoorva Arora to spend birthday shooting in Delhi, plans solo trip after that

Mumbai– Apoorva Arora, who is known for her work in Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Kannada films, is set to celebrate her birthday on Wednesday. However, the actress will be spending her special day working on a film.

Sharing her birthday plans with IANS, the actress shared that she will be working on a film, the title of which she chose not to disclose, on Wednesday.

The actress told IANS: “It’s going to be a working birthday this year, but I’m definitely taking a solo trip right after the shoot gets done. I like to do small things every day 4-5 days before my birthday.”

Apoorva said that she likes to meet different sets of friends and sometimes chill and relax all alone. She also likes sleepovers, going to the beach and going out for dinner.

“This year, I’m traveling to Delhi on June 5 for a shoot. Post that, I’ll take a short trip and relax by myself somewhere in North India,” she added.

Recently, the actress attended the Adishakti workshop at Auroville.

She spoke about her routine at the workshop and said that it has given her a deeper understanding of herself as an artist.

Kangana Ranaut expresses ‘heartfelt gratitude’ for Mandi voters

Mandi– Actress Kangana Ranaut, who is the BJP candidate from the Mandi Lok Sabha seat in Himachal Pradesh, has expressed her “heartfelt gratitude” over her impending win at the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections.

Kangana took to Instagram and shared a heartfelt note, saying that “the victory belongs to the people of Mandi.”

The actress wrote: “Samast Mandiwasiyon ka is janadhar, is pyaar aur is vishwas ke liye dil se abhaar. Veteran actor Anupam Kher congratulated Kangana for her impending win.

The Election Commission of India website is yet to declare Kangana’s win, her victory is almost certain.

The actress is leading with 73,482 votes against Vikramaditya Singh, the Congress candidate.

On Tuesday, Anupam took to his X and shared a video of Kangana with the song’ Jugni’ from her National Award-winning film ‘Queen’ playing in the background.

The actor wrote: “Dearest @KanganaTeam !CONGRATULATIONS on your HUGE Victory! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so so inspirational!”

Varun Dhawan formally announces arrival of daughter: ‘Our girl is here’

Mumbai– Bollywood star Varun Dhawan on Tuesday morning announced the arrival of his first child with wife Natasha Dalal, stating that “our girl is here.”

Varun took to Instagram and shared the news, posting an e-card featuring a picture of his beagle Joey holding a placard that read: “Welcome Lil’ Sis… June 3, 2024.”

The actor captioned the post: “Our girl is here. Thank u for all the good wishes for the mama and the baby. Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama Hare Hare, Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare.”

Natasha gave birth to their first child on June 3. Varun’s father, filmmaker David Dhawan, confirmed the news to the media while leaving P. D. Hinduja Hospital in the Khar area of Mumbai.

In February, Varun and Natasha announced on social media that they were expecting their first child, sharing a sneak peek from their maternity photoshoot.

Varun captioned the photo: “We are pregnant… Need all your blessings and love. #myfamilymystrength.”

Varun and Natasha are childhood sweethearts. The couple got married in January 2021 in Alibaug.

On the work front, Varun, whose last on-screen outing was ‘Bawaal’, is gearing up for the release of ‘Baby John’, an action thriller directed by A. Kaleeswaran. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, and Jackie Shroff. (IANS)
