Aamir Khan Recalls First Meeting With Dharmendra: ‘His Hand Was Like a Shovel’
Mumbai — Aamir Khan has recalled his first meeting with late Bollywood star Dharmendra, saying the veteran actor’s massive, rough hand left a lasting impression on him.
Appearing on Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18 with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, Aamir said he met Dharmendra while working as an assistant director at filmmaker Nasir Hussain’s office near Mehboob Studio.
“One day, Dharam ji suddenly walked in,” Aamir recalled. “I shook hands with him. His hand was like a shovel, and I actually got scared. It was so big and so rough.”
Aamir joked that the handshake immediately made him think of Dharmendra’s sons, Sunny and Bobby Deol.
Dharmendra, widely known as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” died in Mumbai on Nov. 24, 2025, at age 89. His career spanned more than six decades and included films such as Sholay, Chupke Chupke, Yaadon Ki Baaraat and Phool Aur Patthar.
Ananya Panday, Ahaan Panday React to Alanna Panday’s Second Pregnancy
Mumbai — Ananya Panday and Ahaan Panday were surprised and delighted after learning that their cousin and sister Alanna Panday is expecting her second child.

Alanna shared their reactions in a new YouTube vlog documenting how she revealed the pregnancy to her family. Instead of making a direct announcement, she showed relatives a framed sonogram and asked them to guess the news.
Ananya learned about the pregnancy with help from Alanna’s son River, who held a tiny cap as part of the reveal. The actress quickly figured it out and said she had suspected another piece of good news was coming.
Ahaan also reacted with surprise, exclaiming, “Again?!” after realizing another baby would soon join the family.
Alanna and husband Ivor McCray welcomed their first child, Edward Ivor “River” McCray VI, in July 2024. The couple married in Mumbai in March 2023.
Diana Penty Gets a Quick Glam Touch-Up After Late Night

Mumbai — Diana Penty gave fans a glimpse of her hectic schedule as friends and her team helped her get ready on the go after a late night.
The actress shared a video from inside a car showing her hair and makeup being touched up while she traveled to her next destination.
“My friends to the rescue after we were up late last night,” Diana wrote with the clip.
Diana made her Bollywood debut in the 2012 film Cocktail and later appeared in movies including Happy Bhag Jayegi, Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran, Shiddat, Selfiee and Bloody Daddy.
She was most recently seen in Cocktail 2, starring Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna.
Nargis Fakhri Jokes She Was ‘a Pilot in My Past Life’ After First Flying Experience

Mumbai — Nargis Fakhri shared her excitement after trying her hand at flying for the first time, joking that her smooth experience suggested she may have been a pilot in a past life.
The actress posted a photo on Instagram Stories showing herself seated at the controls of an aircraft before takeoff.
“First time flying. Apparently I was a pilot in my past life cuz I did so well,” she wrote.
Nargis, who rose to fame with the 2011 film Rockstar, was most recently seen in Housefull 5 and Mastiii 4. Her other films include Madras Cafe, Main Tera Hero, Housefull 3 and the Hollywood comedy Spy.
Rashmika Mandanna Says Constant Hustle Now Feels ‘Scary’ During Injury Recovery
Mumbai — Rashmika Mandanna says being forced to slow down while recovering from a hip injury has changed how she views her once-hectic lifestyle.

The actress shared photos from her time at home and reflected on how slowing down once seemed intimidating when she was constantly working.
“It’s amazing how when you are hustling your days away, the other side which is ‘slowing down’ seems scary, but when you are pushed into ‘slowing down’ — the hustling like a crazy person now seems scary,” she wrote on Instagram.
Rashmika added that she has been surrounded by “love,” positivity and prayers during her recovery.
In an earlier post, she said her routine has included sleeping, reading, doing puzzles, watching shows, spending time with family and playing with her dog Aura.
The Animal and Pushpa actress said the break has made her realize that slowing down “once in a while” may not be such a bad thing.
Anil Kapoor Marks 27 Years of ‘Taal,’ Calls Vikrant Kapoor Role a Fond Memory

Mumbai — Anil Kapoor marked the 27th anniversary of Taal, saying his role as Vikrant Kapoor remains one of his fondest memories.
Sharing a clip from the Subhash Ghai-directed film on Instagram Stories, Kapoor reflected on the movie’s enduring appeal.
“From day one, Taal had a magic of its own — a story where music voiced every unsaid emotion,” he wrote. “Playing Vikrant Kapoor remains one of my fondest memories.”
Kapoor also praised co-stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Akshaye Khanna, director Subhash Ghai and the rest of the team, calling the film an “unforgettable journey.”
Released in 1999, Taal became known for its music and performances. Ghai recently said the script for a possible Taal 2 is nearly complete. (Source: IANS)
