Karan Singh Grover follows new workout regime for ‘Firrkie’

Mumbai–Actor Karan Singh Grover is following a new workout plan for his new film “Firrkie”. He is trying the movement workout.

“The difficulty level while learning anything new depends on how strong your mind and willpower is. These two factors will help me to keep my focus intact. Currently, I’m inspired by the master of movement, Ido Portal. All we need to understand is our ability to be able to embrace chaos and just breathe,” Karan said in a statement.

The actor, who is in London to start the shoot of his upcoming film, is trying his best to get the look right.

According to a source close to Karan, the workout is a combination of yoga and martial arts.

The film, directed by Ankoosh Bhatt, also features Jackie Shroff, Kay Kay Menon, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sandeepa Dhar.

Watching her children get ready for their exams left actress Raveena Tandon nostalgic.

Raveena on Thursday took to Twitter and wrote: “Kids exams, their dadi (grandmother) puts prasad in their mouths/gives blessings before they leave. Childhood memories of mum feeding me dahi, shakar.”

Sanjay Dutt a treat to work with: Puru

Mumbai–Actor Puru Chibber found his “Bhoomi” co-star Sanjay Dutt humble and a treat to work with.

“Working in a movie like ‘Bhoomi’ was a dream come true. I got to grow as an actor. Sanjay Dutt was a treat to work with. He is humble and down to earth. I got to polish my skills and learn many things from him,” Puru said in a statement.

“The whole team was so nice and co-operating that we became like a family. I hope people will appreciate us and will enjoy the movie,” added the “Band Baaja Baaraat” actor.

Abrar Zahoor promotes animal welfare

“Neerja” actor Abrar Zahoor is a staunch supporter of animal welfare and expects others to follow suit.

“I feel animal welfare must be our concern. It is our responsibility as even they have same rights like us. We humans are more advanced in technology and brain development. We should also come up with some ideas to help animals in making their life better by building or giving them a better place to live in,” Abrar said in a statement.

“We can donate or do charity for their shelter and food. We should help them by giving them freedom from hunger, thirst and discomfort, by providing an appropriate environment including shelter.”
