Mumbai–Reminiscing about the time when his film “Wazir” released on January 8 last year, megastar Amitabh Bachchan says time flies by at the speed of internet “these days”.
Amitabh tweeted on Sunday: “January 8 release of ‘Wazir’… time goes by at the speed of the internet these days!”
Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, “Wazir” also featured Farhan Akhtar, Aditi Rao Hydari, Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham.
The crime thriller was produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.
When Hrithik couldn’t resist dancing with fan
Dubai–Actor Hrithik Roshan, known for his dancing skills, couldn’t resist shaking a leg with a fan here.
Hrithik, who was here to promote his forthcoming film “Kaabil”, tweeted a video in which he can be seen dancing with a fan.
“Dubai, you were fun and fantastic as usual. The crowd had so much energy, couldn’t resist shaking a leg,” he captioned the six-second-long clipping that he shared on Saturday.
The next day, the actor thanked the people of Dubai.
He tweeted: “Such a pleasure to be here and connect with all of the Arab world! Marhabba beautiful people.”
“Kaabil”, directed by Sanjay Gupta, also stars Yami Gautam and Ronit Roy. It is set to release on January 25.
Elli Avram’s ‘Urban chhori’ to release on January 12
The song titled “Urban chhori”, which features actress Elli Avram, is set to release on January 12.
Elli tweeted on Sunday: “So guys it’s finally releasing, my song with Dilbagh Singh on January 12! ‘Urban Chhori’.”
The song is a single sung by Dilbagh Singh and composed by Jaymeet.
Seema Pahwa, Pankaj Tripathi are phenomenal: Kriti
Mumbai–Actress Kriti Sanon finds her onscreen parents Seema Pahwa and Pankaj Tripathi phenomenal.
Seema and Pankaj will be seen playing Kriti’s parents in the upcoming film “Bareilly Ki Barfi”.
Praising them, Kriti said in a statement: “Both Pankaj sir and Seema ma’am are phenomenal actors, to say the least. It’s amazing how their improvisations and impromptu reactions uplift the performance of all other actors.”
Directed by Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari, the film will also star Rajkummar Rao and Sushant Singh Rajput. It is scheduled for release on July 21.
