Mumbai– Actress Disha Patani has been confirmed for a special appearance in Shahid Kapoor and Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming untitled film.
Director Vishal Bhardwaj shared the news on Instagram, posting a cheerful black-and-white photo with Patani and revealing that her cameo was written specifically for her. “Excited to have the stunning @dishapatani join us for a dazzling cameo specially written for her, opposite @shahidkapoor,” he wrote.
While details of her role remain under wraps, sources say Patani will appear in two musical sequences. This marks her first on-screen collaboration with Shahid.

Janhvi Kapoor Reacts to Boney Kapoor’s Stylish New Look: “Wow, Papa”
Mumbai– Filmmaker Boney Kapoor recently showed off his fresh new look on social media, sporting short hair and a trimmed mustache — and the internet took notice. Among the admirers was his daughter, actress Janhvi Kapoor, who left a sweet comment: “Wow papa.”

Boney posted several stylish shots from Cannes and Phuket, dressed in everything from a crisp white pantsuit and safari suit to beachwear with shorts and a hat. He captioned the post: “Pictures from Cannes & Phuket, I am showing off in my new look.”
The update comes just days after an emotional family moment. On Thursday, Boney and his brother, actor Anil Kapoor, immersed the ashes of their late mother, Nirmal Kapoor, in the Ganga — the same spot where their father Surinder Kapoor’s ashes were laid to rest nearly a decade ago. The brothers also visited Parmarth Niketan Ashram and shared memories of their mother, who passed away on May 2 at age 90.
Meanwhile, Janhvi Kapoor is gearing up for her next film Param Sundari, directed by Tushar Jalota, opposite Sidharth Malhotra. Billed as a cross-cultural romance, it tells the story of a “North ka munda” and a “South ki Sundari.” She’ll also reunite with Varun Dhawan for Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, following their 2023 hit Bawaal.
Kajol Shares Why She and Ajay Devgn Don’t Clash Over Films
Mumbai– Actress Kajol recently opened up about her professional relationship with husband Ajay Devgn, saying the two rarely argue over work — even when collaborating on the same film.

In an interview with IANS, Kajol explained that she doesn’t interfere in Ajay’s financial decisions, trusting that he has the right people to advise him. “Economically, he has his own team. I don’t get involved in that,” she said.
Speaking about their latest collaboration, Maa, Kajol noted, “We had a few long conversations—especially about the climax and VFX—but overall, we were on the same page. We’ve never had big fights over a film.”
Praising Ajay as a producer, she called him “hands-on and deeply involved,” from scripting and music to marketing. “He ensures the final product is something he can be proud of,” she said, applauding his commitment to quality over shortcuts.
*Maa*, a mythological horror film produced by Ajay Devgn under Ajay Devgn FFilms along with Jyoti Deshpande and Gigo Studios, hit theatres on June 27.
Diljit Dosanjh Shuts Down Exit Rumors from Border 2, Shares On-Set Video
Mumbai– Diljit Dosanjh has seemingly put to rest rumors about his alleged removal from Border 2 by posting a behind-the-scenes video from the film’s set.

The Punjabi singer-actor shared the clip on his official Instagram handle, showing him being greeted with loud cheers as he arrived on location—apparently for a song shoot. He also added the iconic track Sandese Aate Hai from the original Border as background music, reinforcing his connection to the project.
Recent reports claimed Diljit had been dropped from the film following backlash over his collaboration with Pakistani actress Hania Aamir in Sardaar Ji 3. It was even speculated that actor Ammy Virk would replace him.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) had written to producers Bhushan Kumar, JP Dutta, Nidhi Dutta, and director Anurag Singh, urging them to reconsider Diljit’s casting, calling it “disappointing” given national sentiments.
Directed by Anurag Singh, Border 2 features Sunny Deol and Varun Dhawan in lead roles. The film, backed by T-Series and JP Films, is reportedly based on the 1999 Kargil War and is set for release on January 23, 2026.
