Ayushmann Khurrana, Rochak Kohli Reimagine ‘Dil Waale Chor’ for ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh Do’

MUMBAI — Ayushmann Khurrana and composer Rochak Kohli have teamed up on a reimagined version of “Dil Waale Chor” from Khurrana’s upcoming film “Pati Patni Aur Woh Do.”

Khurrana shared a reel featuring himself and Kohli working on the new version in a music studio. The two are childhood friends and have previously collaborated on songs including “Paani Da Rang,” “Mitti Di Khushboo” and “Raatan Kaaliyan.”

In the video, Khurrana said he had also improvised and written new verses for the track, which is expected to be released soon.

“Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is directed by Mudassar Aziz and stars Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh.

Set in Prayagraj, the film follows an ideal wedding that takes an unexpected turn after one decision triggers misunderstandings, suspicion and comedic chaos.

The film is presented by Gulshan Kumar, B.R. Chopra and T-Series. A T-Series Films and B.R. Studios production, it is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Renu Ravi Chopra and Krishan Kumar, with Juno Chopra serving as creative producer.

“Pati Patni Aur Woh Do” is scheduled to be released May 15.

Kohli made his music debut with “Pani Da Rang” from Shoojit Sircar’s romantic comedy “Vicky Donor.” He is also known for songs including “Paaniyon Sa” from “Satyameva Jayate,” “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” from “Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety” and “Lae Dooba” from “Aiyaary.” (Source: IANS)
