With just about a month to go, the IAGB Executive Committee is super excited for India Day Festival 2019! This event has been IAGB’s signature event for the last several decades and continues to remain close to the heart of the thousands of Indian-American families all over New England.
After the huge success of last year, the celebration will once again take place at the Boston City Hall Plaza on August 17, 2019. This sprawling open venue boasts easy access to transportation via commuter and subway as well as easy access to local Boston attractions. IAGB will also announce easy and discounted parking options for attendees as we get closer to the event.
The event will kick off with a loud bang followed by a variety of cultural performances from various community groups. Intertwined with the performances will be a spread of fun, exciting and interactive games that all attendees can be a part of.
Throughout the day, attendees will get to interact with local exhibitors and vendors from various corners of our community. A few spots for vendors/exhibition booths are still left and IAGB encourages our community members to come join the vibrant India Day celebrations!
Joining us once again to provide sumptuous Indian cuisine is our long-standing partner and corporate sponsor – One World Cuisine. IAGB is also excited and thankful for our platinum Corporate Sponsors – New York Life(www.newyorklife.com ), Harvard Pilgrim and Healthcare(HPHC – www.harvardpilgrim.org) and our gold Corporate Sponsor – Nexus Holidays – https://nexusholidays.com
There is no better time to join the celebrations of Indian pride right in the heart of Boston!! More importantly, this is an excellent opportunity to showcase the strength of the growing Indian-American community.
Come join us on August 19th from 11 am – 7 pm at the Boston City Hall Plaza. We look forward to seeing you there! If you have any questions, please contact us iagb@iagb.org.
