New chapters established in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island

BOSTON–A regional gathering marked the inauguration of New England chapters of Americans4Hindus, expanding the organization’s presence in the Northeastern United States.
The event took place at Vallabhdham Temple and included community leaders, policy advocates, and local stakeholders. The inauguration formally established chapters in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, and Rhode Island.
The ceremony was led by Dr. Romesh Japra, founder and chairman of Americans4Hindus, who delivered the keynote address and introduced the newly appointed regional chapter presidents.
“The future of our community depends not only on preserving our heritage, but on participating fully in the civic and political fabric of this nation,” said Dr. Japra. “Through initiatives like this, we are empowering Hindu Americans to lead with confidence, conviction, and a deep commitment to democratic values.”

She has served in her role since October and has supported the launch of the four New England chapters, as well as additional chapters in Colorado, Tennessee, Washington, Arizona, Oregon, and Pennsylvania.
