Mumbai– Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar offered a heartfelt and philosophical message on Monday, reflecting on the deeper meaning of happiness and what constitutes true wealth in life.
Taking to Instagram, the 57-year-old actor shared a throwback monochrome photo of himself from his early days in the industry. In the picture, a youthful Kumar is dressed in a classic black suit, flashing a playful, goofy expression that captures his signature charm and spontaneity.
Alongside the image, the Kesari Chapter 2 actor penned a reflective note:
“In life, we accumulate stolen moments of happiness. That’s your real wealth.”
He added, “A reminder to laugh loud, love deep, and cherish the pauses. #Timeless.”
Kumar’s message resonated with fans and followers, serving as a gentle nudge to find joy in everyday moments rather than chasing material gain.
On the professional front, Akshay Kumar recently portrayed Lord Shiva in the mythological epic Kannappa, which hit theaters on June 27. The film stars Vishnu Manchu in the lead as Thinnadu, a brave warrior who transforms into a devoted follower of Lord Shiva. The ensemble cast also includes Mohanlal as Kirata and Prabhas as Rudra, with Priety Mukhundan playing the female lead. The film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh.
Meanwhile, Kannappa has become the target of widespread piracy. Actor Vishnu Manchu issued a public appeal on Monday urging viewers to support cinema responsibly. “#Kannappa is under attack from piracy. Over 30,000 illegal links have already been taken down. This is heartbreaking,” he wrote on X. “Piracy is theft—plain and simple. Watching pirated content is no different. Please don’t encourage it. Support cinema the right way. Har Har Mahadev.”
Kannappa released in Telugu and has been dubbed in multiple languages including Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and English, aiming to reach audiences across India and beyond. (Source: IANS)
