Mumbai– The makers of the upcoming romantic drama Saiyaara, starring Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, have released a new emotional track titled ‘Dhun,’ which explores the complexities and challenges of love.
On Tuesday, Yash Raj Films shared the song on Instagram with the caption: When love hurts, music heals. Dhun brings back Arijit Singh, Mithoon, and Mohit Suri together for #Saiyaara. Song out now. Releasing in theatres on July 18.
The song portrays Ahaan and Aneet navigating emotional turmoil and relationship struggles through a calming, heartfelt melody.
‘Dhun’ reunites the iconic trio of Arijit Singh, Mithoon, and Mohit Suri, who previously created the chart-topping hit ‘Tum Hi Ho’ from Aashiqui 2. Speaking about the new song, director Mohit Suri said Dhun is a tribute to the resilience people show in the face of hardships—whether in love or life. He added that while life is far from easy, the song celebrates the spirit of never giving up. The team is hopeful the audience will resonate with its message.
Suri also expressed gratitude for his collaborations with Mithoon and Arijit Singh, calling them once-in-a-generation artists with whom he has made his best music.
Saiyaara marks the acting debut of Ahaan Panday, the son of Chikki Panday and Deanne Panday, and cousin of actress Ananya Panday. Chikki Panday is the brother of veteran actor Chunky Panday. Aneet Padda, known for her performance in the acclaimed series Big Girls Don’t Cry, stars opposite him in the film.
This is the first collaboration between Yash Raj Films and filmmaker Mohit Suri. The film is presented by Aditya Chopra and produced by Akshaye Widhani. Saiyaara is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on July 18, 2025. (Source: IANS)
