Adnan Sami Shares Throwback Holi Photos With Amitabh Bachchan
MUMBAI — Singer Adnan Sami celebrated Holi by sharing nostalgic photos from past festivities with Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, delighting fans on social media.
Sami posted a throwback image on Instagram showing a younger, heavier version of himself smiling alongside Bachchan, popularly known as Big B. In the photo, Bachchan rests his hand on Sami’s shoulder as both appear with faces covered in festive colors.
“HAPPY HOLI”!! Here’s a #throwback I found from my archives many Holis ago with @amitabhbachchan ji. (sic),” Sami captioned the post.
He later shared another set of throwback pictures featuring the two enjoying the festival together.
“Here are another couple of #throwback photos from many Holis & ‘Kilos’ ago with the incredible @amitabhbachchan ji. (sic),” he wrote.
Sami and Bachchan previously collaborated on the song “Kabhi Nahee,” with the veteran actor not only appearing in the track but also lending his voice alongside the singer. The song went on to become a major hit on Indian music charts.
On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan is set to reprise his role as Ashwatthama in the upcoming sequel to “Kalki 2898 AD.”
In a recent blog post, Bachchan revealed that he has completed filming for the sequel, which was shot in Hyderabad.
“Home is the gates of Jalsa, where with longing shall hopefully meet the Ef and the well wishers again after a gap last week due to absence from home.. work for K2, had taken me to Hyds.. SO,” he wrote.
Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film is set in the dystopian city of Kasi and blends elements of the Mahabharata with a futuristic narrative. (Source: IANS)
