Talwiinder Releases New EP ‘Paiinted Feeliings,’ Says He Wants to Create Music That Lasts Beyond the Hype

MUMBAI–Singer-songwriter Talwiinder has released his latest EP, “Paiinted Feeliings,” a four-track collection exploring love, longing and personal emotions, saying his goal is to create music that listeners can connect with and rediscover throughout their lives.
The EP features four songs, including two new releases, “Geet” and “Jind Meri,” with each track presenting a different perspective on relationships, emotional experiences and human connections.
Alongside the EP, Talwiinder has released a music video for “Geet,” featuring the singer in a distinctive visual appearance that complements the song’s themes.
Discussing the project, Talwiinder said he wanted to create an experience that extended beyond the music itself, allowing listeners to establish personal connections with the songs.
“With ‘Paiinted Feeliings’, I wanted to create something people could connect with on a personal level, beyond just listening to the music. Each track carries its own story and emotion, and I hope listeners find pieces of their own lives in the songs, even years from now. The listening experience was an opportunity to bring that vision to life by bringing music and art together and giving fans a chance to engage with the EP beyond the tracks”, he said.
The singer also incorporated visual art into the project’s presentation, inviting artists to interpret the music through murals inspired by the EP’s emotional themes.
Talwiinder said seeing different artistic interpretations of his work reinforced his belief that music can carry different meanings for different people.
“Seeing artists interpret ‘Paiinted Feeliings’ through their murals was particularly special, as each brought their own feelings and perspective to the project. Ultimately, I want to create music that people can grow with, discover new meanings in, and return to over time. For me, it has always been about making something that lasts beyond the hype”, he explained.
One of the EP’s new tracks, “Geet,” originated from an unexpected conversation about writer’s block.
Talwiinder recalled that a fellow musician had asked him how to find inspiration when struggling to write lyrics. Instead of offering advice, he decided to turn the experience into a song.
“I don’t really believe in writer’s block. A friend was talking about it, so I wrote a song about it. Sometimes, not knowing what to write about can be the starting point itself”, he said.
The experience became the foundation for “Geet,” reflecting Talwiinder’s approach to songwriting, in which everyday conversations and personal experiences can become sources of creative inspiration.
Across its four tracks, “Paiinted Feeliings” explores different aspects of love, relationships and longing, with the singer intentionally leaving room for listeners to interpret the songs through their own experiences.
With the release, Talwiinder hopes to create music that remains meaningful beyond its initial popularity, allowing audiences to return to the songs and discover new emotional connections over time. (Source: IANS)
