Rakhi Sawant Targets Govinda’s Rumoured Girlfriend, Calls Her ‘Pati Chor’ and ‘Gold Digger’
MUMBAI— Actress Rakhi Sawant has voiced her support for actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, amid reports of strain in the couple’s marriage, and has now criticised Govinda’s rumoured girlfriend, Komal Rani Swarnkar.
Speaking to photographers at Mumbai airport, Rakhi referred to Komal as a “pati chor” (husband stealer) and a “gold digger.” She also accused her of interfering in Govinda and Sunita’s marriage and used several other derogatory terms while making her remarks.
“Komal Rani, main Rakhi Sawant banaungi tujhe Sunita ki naukrani bahut jald. Dusron ke ghar mein ghar barbaad karti hai, dusro ke ghar sansar mein aag lagati hai,” Rakhi said.
She went on to mock the idea of pursuing a wealthy man and alleged that Komal was seeking financial benefits from Govinda.
“Ek ameer aadmi ko pataungi, gold digger ban jaungi. Govinda ji se paise lekar filme banvaungi. Uske naam ka sindoor lagaungi,” she said.
Rakhi also expressed disappointment over reports concerning Govinda’s personal life and jokingly demanded Rs 65,999 from the actor, saying she had spent that amount watching his films since childhood.
Earlier, Rakhi had reacted to Govinda being seen at Lalbaugcha Raja in Mumbai with Komal. She said she believed Govinda should have attended the religious visit with Sunita.
“Ye bahot galat baat hai Govinda ji. Apni biwi ko le ke jana chahiye, jiske sath aap 40 saal gujare,” she said.
Addressing Govinda, she added, “Are Chichi bhaiya, kya ho gaya aapko? Itne bade Lalbaugcha ke Ganpati mein aap wo Rupa, Komal… ko lekar gaye.”
Rakhi concluded by appealing to Govinda to reconcile with Sunita and restore their relationship.
“If someone who lost their way in the morning returns home by evening, they are not considered lost. Come on, forget everything, yaar. It’s not a good thing. Don’t do this, Govinda ji, you are such a good person,” she said.
Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s marriage has been the subject of media attention in recent months. Sunita has made several public statements concerning Govinda’s alleged relationship with his co-actor Komal Rani Swarnkar.
