Urvashi Rautela’s Team Claims Legal Action Over Alleged AI Misuse of Her Identity

Mumbai — Actress Urvashi Rautela’s team says it is pursuing legal action against a Los Angeles-based artificial intelligence company over the alleged unauthorized use of her name, images and videos.

In a statement, the actress’ team said the company allegedly used Rautela’s identity and content without permission. It said damages are currently being assessed at Rs 7,000 crore.

“Their business has allegedly generated billions of dollars in value by using Urvashi’s name, images and videos without authorization,” her team said. “We are pursuing appropriate legal remedies, including damages currently being assessed at ₹7,000 crore against the Los Angeles-based company.”

The team added that any commercial use of Rautela’s name, image or likeness should be made only with proper authorization.

The allegations come amid growing concerns in the entertainment industry over the use of artificial intelligence to create unauthorized videos, voices and other content featuring celebrities.

Actor Salman Khan recently raised similar concerns during an episode of “Bigg Boss 20,” warning about AI-generated videos and voice manipulation.

“AI has progressed so much that it’s very scary. It’s a very serious thing,” Khan said, adding that his own likeness has appeared in AI-generated videos.

Ayushmann Khurrana Praises Sooraj Barjatya’s Ability to Connect With Families

Mumbai — Actor Ayushmann Khurrana has praised filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya’s legacy and his ability to tell stories that resonate with families.

Speaking at the FICCI Frames event on Tuesday, Khurrana discussed his upcoming film “Yeh Prem Mol Liya,” directed by Barjatya.

“Sooraj Barjatya’s film ‘Yeh Prem Mol Liya’ will release on November 27. Our trailer will be unveiled on Diwali with ‘Ramayan,’” Khurrana said. “I am very excited to work with him because he is a very legendary director. He has a very big legacy. And he has the ability to connect families.”

Barjatya is known for family-oriented films including “Hum Aapke Hain Koun,” “Vivah” and “Maine Pyar Kiya.”

“Yeh Prem Mol Liya” also stars Sharvari opposite Khurrana and marks music composer Himesh Reshammiya’s reunion with Barjatya after “Prem Ratan Dhan Payo.” The film is scheduled to hit theaters Nov. 27, 2026.

Khurrana also spoke about his upcoming film “Udta Teer,” which is set for an Oct. 9 release.

“It is India’s first patriotic comedy where I become a Pakistani spy and lose my memory in India,” he said. “My character starts fighting for India. So in a way, he remembers patriotism, but he forgets which country it is.”

Anupam Kher Says Anu Malik Helped Fulfill His Dream of Singing in a Musical

Mumbai — Veteran actor Anupam Kher has shared a glimpse of his singing performance from the musical play “Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane,” saying composer Anu Malik helped fulfill his longtime dream of singing on stage.

Kher posted a video from the show in Detroit, where his performance was followed by a standing ovation.

“Singing on the stage!!! I always wanted to sing in a musical. Thank you, #AnuMalik, for making that dream come true!” Kher wrote on social media.

He described performing in the musical as a “phenomenal feeling” and thanked the Detroit audience for its “love, warmth, and appreciation.”

Kher also said the production’s next stop would be Raleigh, North Carolina, as part of its U.S. and Canada tour.

Written and directed by Gajendra Ahire, “Jaane Pehchaane Anjaane” explores loneliness, companionship and the emotional distance that can develop in modern relationships.

Vidya Balan Reunites With R. Balki for New Tamil Film

Mumbai — Actress Vidya Balan is reuniting with filmmaker R. Balki for a new Tamil film, marking their first collaboration since “Paa” in 2009.

Balan shared behind-the-scenes pictures on Instagram Stories, including one showing her holding a script and wearing spectacles with a long braid.

“New Beginnings #NewTamilFilm with #RBalki,” she wrote.

Details about the untitled project remain under wraps, but the post indicates that work on the film has begun.

Balan also has several other projects in the pipeline. She will appear as Kantha in Rajinikanth’s “Jailer 2,” directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and scheduled for release Oct. 15, 2026.

She is also set to reunite with Akshay Kumar in an untitled comedy directed by Anees Bazmee. The film, which also stars Raashii Khanna, is slated for release Dec. 4, 2026.

Mumbai — Actress Raveena Tandon has shared a reflective note about loss, memories and the importance of cherishing loved ones.

Taking to Instagram, Tandon wrote, “Some days … some chapters close, memories are left behind. Losing loved ones is an eventuality. We have to accept.”

She also reflected on the struggles people face in life and said she prays for those going through difficult times.

“When I hear stories of different lives and their battles, I pray they overcome victoriously, but everyone has to serve what they came here for, learn, earn your good karma and then leave,” she wrote.

Mumbai — Aishwarya Rai Bachchan walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week alongside several international celebrities, including Kendall Jenner, Eva Longoria, Céline Dion, Simone Ashley, Viola Davis and Jane Fonda.

The event was held Sept. 28 at Place Joffre, with the Eiffel Tower serving as the backdrop.

Bachchan wore a deep velvet outfit with elaborate detailing and a crystal-embellished cape. She also appeared on stage wearing a crown as she joined other global ambassadors and personalities.

Videos from the event also showed Bachchan sharing a warm backstage moment with Longoria.

Bachchan has been a regular presence at major international fashion and film events for more than two decades. She made her Cannes Film Festival debut in 2002 for the premiere of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Devdas,” appearing alongside Bhansali and co-star Shah Rukh Khan.
