Janhvi Kapoor Cheers Veer Pahariya’s ‘Prem Keetanu’: ‘Fresh, Young, Fun’
Mumbai — Janhvi Kapoor is cheering on Veer Pahariya as he gears up for his upcoming romantic comedy “Prem Keetanu.”
The actress shared the film’s newly released teaser on her Instagram Stories, writing, “Veeru!!! Fresh young fun and masti @veerpahariya can’t wait for this!!!”
Veer plays a free-spirited college student navigating hostel life, dating, heartbreak and other firsts.
Directed by Apoorv Singh Karki, “Prem Keetanu” also stars Aparshakti Khurana, Rakesh Bedi and Nikhil Vijay. The film is scheduled to hit theaters on Oct. 2.
Karki described the movie as a story filled with “heart, humour, friendship” and the memorable experiences of growing up.
Janhvi is dating Veer’s brother, Shikhar Pahariya, and the couple is frequently spotted together at Bollywood events and family gatherings.
Shilpa Shetty Returns to Her Roots With Mom on Naga Panchami

Mumbai — Shilpa Shetty marked Naga Panchami by offering prayers with her mother, Sunanda Shetty, while reflecting on her Mangalorean roots.
The actress shared photos from the temple visit on social media, saying Naga Daiva worship has long held a special place in her family traditions.
“Naga Daiva holds a deeply sacred place in my heart,” Shilpa wrote, adding that the tradition connects her to her ancestors and cultural heritage.
She said she was grateful to carry the customs forward and wished fans a happy Naga Panchami.
Her “Dhadkan” co-star Suniel Shetty also marked the festival by sharing a video of himself performing prayers. The actor said the occasion reminds him of growing up in Mulki, Mangalore, and of the faith and family values tied to Naga Dev worship.
Anupam Kher Recalls Dreaming of Meeting Robert De Niro Before Becoming His Friend

Mumbai — Anupam Kher marked Robert De Niro’s birthday by recalling how he once wrote about the Hollywood legend while still a drama student.
Kher said that during his final year of drama school, he wrote a research paper on De Niro’s “Mean Streets” and “Taxi Driver.” At the time, his biggest dream was simply to meet the actor and shake his hand.
“Life, and God, had much bigger plans for me,” Kher wrote on social media.
Years later, Kher not only met De Niro but starred alongside him in “Silver Linings Playbook.” He said an even greater gift was eventually being able to call De Niro his friend.
“There are actors all over the world who would feel blessed if they could achieve even one-hundredth of what you have achieved as an actor,” Kher wrote in his birthday tribute.
The two actors have remained close over the years. Kher also shared a warm moment with De Niro at Cannes in 2025, where they were photographed embracing.
Karisma Kapoor Credits Anu Malik, Kumar Sanu for Iconic ’90s Bollywood Music

Mumbai — Karisma Kapoor has credited composer Anu Malik and singer Kumar Sanu with helping create some of Bollywood’s most memorable music of the 1990s.
Speaking on “India’s Best Dancer,” Karisma recalled Malik’s work on films including “Judwaa,” “Khuddar,” “Haseena Maan Jaayegi,” “Krishna” and “Biwi No. 1.”
She also praised Sanu for hit songs tied to her career, including “Tum Sa Koi Pyara,” “Main Toh Raste Se Ja Raha Tha” and “Pucho Zara Pucho.”
“Their voices were synonymous with the movies and all the heroes in the ’90s, which benefited us heroines as well,” Karisma said.
The actress, one of the decade’s biggest stars, said the music became an important part of her own career and thanked both artists for their contribution to the era.

Mumbai — Sonam Kapoor is soaking up family time in Paris with husband Anand Ahuja, sister Rhea Kapoor and brother-in-law Karan Boolani.

“Blurry evenings with my baby,” Sonam captioned the picture.
Sonam, dressed in a gray blazer, white shirt and black skirt, posed alongside Anand, who wore a white shirt and black trousers.
